Looks like the part of the tree that the cache was located has been removed Sad

03-Dec-15
This cache has not been found in almost a year, even since your previous maintenance stating that it is still in place. Previous finders have confirmed to several of us that the cache is no longer where it was when they found it.

As stated by several searchers the coordinates are out by 15 - 20 metres. Would you please update the coordinates so that we have a possibility of finding it.

24-Nov-15
If you want people to find this cache then please update the co-ords. Add a better hint.
And generally help us out here.
It has not been found by anyone (except yourselves ?? ) in 12 months.
I have contacted previous finders and believe I have been searching the right place for the right type of container to no avail.
We want to find your cache!

10 eyes looked for this cache today after attending an event nearby. We can't find this one. So we decided to look for other caches hidden by this CO around this area. We found their D3.5. This one being a D2 should be easier. When the others went to find caches across the border, I went back to have a second look of this cache. Looked everywhere. Every tree, checked previous activities and expanded my search as the coords are apparently off. Check the photo and pretty sure I got the right tree. I hope the CO will check this out physically. I have this on my watch list. Will come back again once checked by CO.

Nil. Zip. Nothing. Zilch. We (Team Benders x 2, E(: and RoddyC x 2), with five pairs of searching eyes, had absolutely no luck here today. Is it really here?

24-Oct-15
I have to agree with the others.
No luck here today
Will return if it returns

15-Oct-15
Visiting from Melbourne and out for a night caching run. Visited GZ and searched using hint. Unfortunately no success. TFTH.

23-Sep-15
CO sent you a message about this cache

31-Aug-15
I have spoken to more previous finders at a recent event.
And confirmed previous info i have been given regarding this cache.
Spent another hour searching today without success.
Please can you update the Co-ords as I still have GZ in middle of grass, 10-12m from where i have been searching along the fence and trees near the Bali hut.
I have also been using photos from previous logs to narrow down GZ.

22-Aug-15
I spent over an hour here yesterday searching a fairly wide area in relation to the hint (as the coordinates put me in the middle of the grass) and another half an hour today.

Yesterday I messaged a friend who'd found it previously and she gave me detailed instructions on where she'd found it. I was definitely looking in the right spot and for the right thing but couldn't find it.

This afternoon she messaged me to say that she'd come by with a muggle friend to check on it and it is definitely no longer where she found it.

Since the CO assures us it is there perhaps they could update the coordinates - as several people have commented they are quite a long way out.

Out and about for my daily find. Smile
After such a string of DNF's I think the cache owner should check whether this one actually there.
The trees have had quite a pruning very recently. After contacting two previous finders I think the particular tree this was in has had a limb or two removed.
If not, either replace of archive and add a note to the logs so people will know what is happening with this cache.
Cheers

19-Aug-15
Cache is still in place

21-May-15
With two sets of eyes it couldn't be found.

21-May-15
Maybe this cache needs to be checked to see if it is still in residence. Thanks.

18-Feb-15
DNF but Geoboy found 50 c!

15-Feb-15
Had high hopes after #3 but had no luck on this one. Got the hint but sadly had to give up. Some of the other comments didn't help our confidence! Pity as we don't like failure and we'd enjoyed #3 down the road.

12-Feb-15
Impossible to find even with a large screwdriver to help

14-Jan-15

Easy! TH4. Didn't sign log book as it was raining and were in no mood to stand in the rain.

18-Nov-14
Not too hard, looked in all the logical places and found the cache within reach but not where it is supposed to be. Noticed the hiding spot and replaced as best I could Smile

Fun fact about a Blue Moon:

A blue moon is the second full moon in a calendar month. For a blue moon to occur, the first of the full moons must appear at or near the beginning of the month so that the second will fall within the same month (the average span between two moons is 29.5 days).

First cache

30-Aug-14
After telling my friend weightman_ that my day hopefully included lots of cache, he told me he had looked caching up years ago and there weren't any in QLD. I showed him my map and that there were I fact 4 along his street (mattocks)
So we stopped of here and I showed him the basics of using the app and cache was quickly located. He was surprised by the size!
Log was quite damp. TFTC

#810 Now knowing what to look for and a better appreciation of where to look, this sneaky little cache was quickly found this afternoon. Log sheet is wet, lid may not effectively seal. Thanks for the cache and the advice ash&shaun1003.

27-Aug-14
A pattern is forming this afternoon, SadSmileSadSmile and now another Sad. I had a good look around, GPS had me in the centre of the grass area. I found a ping pong ball, but no ball hut and no cache. Thanks for the hunt ash&shaun1003.

19-Jul-14
I have a Saturday afternoon to go caching after a morning at work. Big Grin
So I headed to this area where I could find a few caches quickly. Smile
With the coords so far out and a searcher having to rely on logs I got a little frustrated and moved on.

15-Jul-14
Searched high low and under trees fence etc but no luck. Coordinates took me into middle of grassy area. May try again later

06-Jul-14
The coordinates and hint took me in different directions, but finally found this clever hide. TFTC.

Out on the geocycle again today trying to round up some more smileys. I had some trouble, well a lot of trouble with this series. Only found one, did not even bother to look for the first one.

I think I got lucky with this one. The hint put me in the right area, which was good because my GPS had GZ 12m away. I decided to have a bit of a look and spotted it straight away, now 15m from my GPS GZ.

Not the best when you are hunting for a micro.

09-Apr-14
Best hide I have ever found tftc

14-Mar-14
Back when this series and a few more down this way were published I was very close to my 1000 find. I had a hike planned for it so unfortunately I couldn't try my luck at any of the FTFs that were up for grabs.
So finally I have managed to get down here and once again it's early morning, the best time of the day for caching I reckon.
Anyway I parked close by and wandered over. With minimal cover from passing traffic I was thankful I spotted it fairly quickly. Took a seat on the bark and added a new name to the list.
Awesome hide, thanks again A&S

That’s one more find for me! Thanks so much for hiding this geocache.

Hi Ness, it was a good spot, i liked the way you hid it.

27-Feb-14
A top day out and about caching with Couchmen. Around 30 caches found, mainly new stuff that had came out in the last week. Two puzzle caches and a multi in the bunch as well. A few short walks undertaken, and a few really good hides in the bunch as well. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining there caches.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, a very tricky hide, for th last of the day, had to look high and low, for a while, before we eventually spotted it. TFTC.

27-Feb-14
I was out with Blacklegend today and even though we had started later we were both looking forward to a big day.

We had a great day but this had to be our last and we were wrapped with our total this would make it 33, my second best but my best was on a power trail and we had covered a lot less kilometres.

We were both totally puzzled by the hint when we got to the park that was bare except for trees and were not so sure we would get the 33rd.

We searched backward and forward, up and down and were no closer to working it out.

Luckily I had eagle eyed BL along with me and he spotted something and we had our 33rd.

YEAH!!!!!

Thanks Ash & Shaun for playing your part in making our day such a great one. NEXT!!

26-Feb-14
Great hide

24-Feb-14
I initially thought I started at the wrong end of this series. Well of course I did if I started at 4! But then I realized they will show up in my found list the other way up. With 4 at the bottom. So maybe I'm doing them the right way after all! Nevertheless, I found this quickly and easily when I ignored my GPS and just read the clue. TFTC. SL.

15-Feb-14
Found Bristrackers decoy as well as the cache. TFTC.

12-Feb-14
Oh goody! A new string of caches for us Gold Coasters. First one knocked over.

12-Feb-14
Ash&shaun1003 and myself hid this series together however it's still saying that I can find it on my map so i'm logging it so it stops showing up! Hope everyone enjoys the series!

11-Feb-14
I had to go near this area to do some cache maintenance today so called through here for a few new caches. This was our first one today. A mystical search had us with a cache in hand after a few minutes. Thanks for this new string of caches ash&shaun1003. There was a bit of a cache hole around here and now you've taken care of that. [^][^]

11-Feb-14
Took a little while, the clue got me there.TFTC.

10-Feb-14
Found this with Fizz62 today. The co-ords were off a bit with this one but the clue led us closer to the cache. Thanks again for this new series.

Fifth and last "FTF" for the afternoon. After this I stopped for sushi and to check if the 4 other new ones up near Nerang had been found. Yes Sal and Anth had found all four and so need to dash up there. At first I was confused by the similarity of "Sal and Anth" to "ash&shaun" and thought how can they find their own caches? Thanks again ash&shaun and Ness and Kadin.
