Geotrail showed me the right way and made for a quick find. Really enjoyed the walk along this trail and especially during this awesome winter weather, cold but sunny, perfect for walking.

Needed a limbo dance here. Once close to the cache site it was a quick find. TFTC
I decided to go for a wee bike ride today from McArtney Rd to the Near the Cob Cottage along the Riverlands Rail Trail.
I had to crawl under the electric fence.
Cheers for the cache.

Nice early evening walk after work with a muggle friend who has a great nose for finding elephant trails! A bit of an Indiana Jones approach here under the fence... TFTC!!
Spotted this line of caches on the cycle trail from SH1 as I drove in yesterday. Out on a cyclocache ride this morning to convert them all into smilies. Spent my regulation 10 mins searching before moving on.
Another stunning sunny Marlborough autumn day! Checking out the Riverlands cycle/walkway and hopefully knocking off few caches on the way. TFTC
All good here with this one. Grabbed on way to work, just gave myself a few extra minutes to walk to on a nice morning. TFTC
Off to Blenheim for a couple of days for a work project. Always a good excuse for some caching while on the road.
Work done for the evening, time for some more caches before dinner. This time some specific locations to contribute to a challenge cache near to home.
Thanks again B&W

Another quick find once the temporary obstacle was cleared. Cache has a broken lid so I think this will end up waterlogged soon. TFTC!
Stuck in Blenheim for a few days with vehicle problems. Not Plan A but at least it gives us some extra time to cache. Decided to walk the Riverlands rail trail. Managed to get all the caches along the route. Some were quick other took much longer. Knowing they had all been found recently did help me to persevere at times. Same as last one had to cross an electric fence to get to the hint item. Thankfully no shocks.
After a DNF down the trail, and on the way back, looking here was successful. I had to limbo the fenceline, which after previous experience today, may have been electric. Nearly a year lonely but still all good.
Quick find this afternoon. Nice hot, sunny day for a walk along here! Signed the log and replaced as found! Thanks for the cache, bumandworker!

Another quick duck under the wire and another quick find. I was enjoying biking along here exploring an area I have never been to before, thanks for placing this cache
Being a relief teacher with a campervan and a supportive family, I decided it was time to make use of the school holidays. I stayed the night at the Top 10. This morning I decided to cache by bike.
Just as well I can pencil roll. Lol

On the bike now, on the trail back to town. A nice quick find, though the commando roll under the electric fence was a bit undignified. Cheers.
Today was a day spent cruising around Blenheim, waiting for the late ferry to leave. I was so hot today, >30 degrees. The aircon in the car was working overtime.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

We were in Blenheim for my brothers tennis competition this weekend. We decided to take a drive out to on the trail knowing that there's a good density of geocaches here. It is a nice area with the vineyards & the wither hills. the hills look very green at the moment. Find #364
Nigel Navigator & I are out for a stroll along the Riverlands Rail Trail on a beautiful Blenheim day.
OK the hint puts me over there. So its another crawl under the zappy thing for an easy find. Cheers

Another quick find during a bike ride with the kids, despite the temporary electric fence. Tftc.
Although the forecast wasn't that great we decided to head Marlborough way again today to grab a few more caches. There was 5 caches to find along this trail still and it remained sunny although icy cold until we had found the last one when we noticed some high cloud developing. By the time we got back to the car the sun had been superceded by threatening rain clouds and that set the pattern for the rest of the day.
Thank you bumandworker.
Thank you bumandworker.
We picked up along this trail where we left it last week. A short walk from our park wiling that sun to rise a bit higher and give us some warmth. It did then disappeared to make way for showers of varying intensity. There were enough dry spells to give us opportunity as long as we didn't stray to far from the car. Thank you bumandworker
Out and about for the afternoon now to find a few more hides.
Having dnf'd the Gate I came to this one to find absolutely no possible hiding place if I followed the CO's instructions. So I climbed over the fence and walked the 3M to make a quick find. . Maybe the single strand electric fence wasn't here when the cache was placed.
Now back to the gate with a new search area to investigate.

After a big day out caching in the area between Havelock and Pelorus Bridge yesterday, NZDi decided she wanted a chill out day today so I planned a quick MTB bike ride out along the Riverlands Rail Trail and back to get rid of a nasty green streak on my local geocaching map. This worked out to be about a 12km return trip from home and had us back before 9.30am. We managed to get 8 caches for NZDi bringing her total up to a nice round 40 for the weekend.
Thanks to the hint this was another QEF along the Riverlands Rail Trail on what is proving to be a rather windy Sunday morning. The wind is behind us at the moment, but we're not looking forward to the return journey.

While I'm here I might as well get this cache too, I'm getting close to the end of my year long caching streak and with a run of recent caches being published in blenheim don't need to restrict myself to a single cache every day. A very pleasant evening for a walk here. Had to duck under a strip grazing fence to make the find but no trouble there. TFTC
[Red] Thanks for Supporting the Geokids program, making geocaching more fun for kids across New Zealand so kids aren't sad when they find geocaches . Have dropped some swag into the cache.[/Red]

O Boy!!! what a full on 5 days of caching. Driving/Sailing to attend the Christchurch Mega Event with Squirrel Nutcase and also picking up caches on the way to help us complete our Dot Days and Challenges we are currently trying to fulfill. We traveled to so many places that we have never visited before and with 240 plus caches later knew we had had an eventful few days.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
On our way to NZ Mega Christchurch 2015, and caching as we go. We planned to stay close to the main highway and only venture off into the countryside where appropriate... That didn't always work for us. A 4-5 hour journey ended up taking us almost two days; such was the sheer number of caches we encountered along the route.
We are pleased to report that almost all of the caches we stopped for were in place and in good order. Besides a bit of dampness, there was nothing of concern. This is a feat that cache owners in this area of the country can be proud of... We thank you... Thank you for bringing to our attentions areas of significance. We enjoyed discovering scenic areas, historical and social locations, and other personally meaningful spots.
As stated, we found loads of caches... If we were to write an individualised note for each one, we'd never get the logging done. Hence, there will be a lot of cutting and pasting going on... My apologies!!
Marlborough: Another straight forward find. TFTC.

#898. Bit more of a leg stretch to get to these two caches but nice flat ground along the trail. The hide was pretty obvious from the hint and soon found. Good to get a few of these cache types picked up for a challenge series I am working on. TFTC
#9438. The grapes were gone, but the vines still had most of their leaves. TFTC.
This was the third of several caches found on the Riverlands Rail Cycle Trail. We knew rain was predicted, and the clouds looked a little ominous, but we packed the rain jackets and set off.
The pond took a little bit of looking to see as it was covered in green sludge hence merged into the landscape. Luckily cache was easier to find! TFTC.

Down from Canada visiting with my daughter and her family in Blenheim. Some of the family were busy doing their own thing so crman1 and I took advantage of the nice weather to hit the geocaching trail to see what we could find. QEF with crman14. TFTC
Out seeing how many caches we could find before the junky weather set in. Turned out to be a pretty nice day. Found with eltee291. TFTC!
Took a stroll this afternoon after doing the slip, slop, slap, thing. very pleasant walking along here. good to get a bit of over due exercise as well. TFTC
Enjoying a fantastic 3-week summer road trip around the South Island with our kids: over 4000km under our belts, having headed south via scenic eastern & southern highways to Bluff, onto Fiordland, wound our way back up the West Coast & now back in Blenheim visiting friends & enjoying a few days’ lovely R&R before heading northwards & home. Thought I'd head out for a walk to explore around the area where our friends live but those rain clouds are looking fairly ominous, which meant I didn't have any takers offering to keep me company lol. Enjoyed my walk to GZ & a nice quick grab, cache all good. Thanks for the fun, TFTC
Oddly enough Mrs SoBad had commented on the pond as we walked back to the car after finding the cache. She just saw the first part of the titles of the series on the GPS and it is only now as she logs on line that she is aware of the full titles. This did not stop the cache being found.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Pond - - what pond? Oh that's right we had a discussion about a very tranquil pond. That must have been here. My first response when reading the hint was "yes but - - - ". TFTC .
Not quite the same weather as when I cached another couple in this series last night but hey, a days caching is still excellent whatever. Had a long day in the office today and from what I saw of it was better off for being inside. seemed so gusty that Winnie the pooh would have to re-write a certain well known story.
A quick drive along Alabama Road, what a good way to bypass all that snarl of driving through town and across the railway etc, will remember this for future routes across town. Possibility of a trip up to Rainbow ski-fields tomorrow so therefore the possibility to grab some out of town caches for my last November dot-day which falls tomorrow. If not, there are still a few around Blenners to grab.
No problems here with the found. Grabbed just before a moped came 'roaring' along the walk way
T F T C and the smiley b&w

Quick stop to stretch our legs after the long drive from Christchurch. So we went for a walk for this one.
[green] starting to go stir crazy - I haven't been out on the bike for a while. So the hell with study and the possibility of rain, today is the day to escape from the military, for a short cycle from the Air Force base to the coop drain just south of Blenheim and back.
Love this little rail trail cycleway. Shame it doesn't go further (like, say, to Seddon). Cache was a nice easy find . Found it had been replaced on its side, allowing water ingress. Luckily no water inside. Replaced it right way up. Some people seem to think these sistemas are waterproof. Nope!

Some muggles wandering home from school...none the wiser but was tempted to explain to them what was going on....new recruits, another day...thanks
Quick find while out for a walk with Mrs KE and her Dad.

I parked my car by the hall and walked along to this cache. Sort of wished I'd brought my bike with me but never mind. Another cache found on my walk along the trail. Liked the hint which took me straight to the cache. Dropped off Flying Phoenix first trackable so hope that travels well too. TFTC, Biggles.

Find #288 for the BAMMJams, and our 4th FTF (3rd for the day). I never a pond, but the hint easily lead us to the cache. The mini-BammJams put a dice in the container for future swag collectors. TFTC.
