Hello E_Smiley,After many years it is time to replace our trustee 2-person inflatable kayak. You know the one you have paddled with many times. And so, since we are visiting the family in Brisbane, we decided to take a drive down to your old stomping ground. We came to visit Wild Earth here at the Goldie, and while the staff were heading off to the warehouse to collect our replacement boat, we decided to look out and see if we could find something hidden by you. And we did. This put a big smile on our faces to be able to think about you when we were here today. We came to GZ and we think the structure is actually a pedestal for you to stand on ! About the cache, it was found safe and dry, and blended in beautifully with its surroundings. (In fact, I will send you a photo of how curiously funny it looks there at the moment). We miss caching with you! Thanks E_Smiley. A FP added here. Domsky
Well this one had us going everywhere, a really good hide so surprised we found it thanks to my son.
Found this one very quickly from the car and was an easy sign with low muggle interference. Log book was absolutely full so signed over faded old logs. Found the second pillar across the road too so I assume the previous comment of it being an old industrial estate gate or arch is probably correct. Very fun find! TFTC
Just finished at my favourite hairdressers at TreeTops and decided to stop by for this one, before heading up the M1. Nice quiet area with lots of parking, despite being so close to the main road. Recognised the cache container as I approached, as I have recently purchased a couple myself to hide in my home area. The logsheet is full, but I managed to find a spot to sign. TFTC.
Visiting from nz.This one was on our travel path today so stopped in. Spotted it from the car! Yes very random pillar here!! Thank you ash&shaun1003/E_Smiley for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5078
I had a drive down to Reddy creek today. While doing the rounds, I saw a particular cache I needed for a particular challenge and it also fills in a grid spot I was working on, winning. I parked up and saw the cache immediately from a good distance away, wow this is an easy one. I signed the log and returned the cache as found and made my way back to my car. It was while sitting in the car that I noticed the name of the cache and thought that is weird. I read on further and then looked at a few pics and then realised this cache had been replaced and what I signed was nothing to do with the original cache. Thank you for maintaining and keeping this one ongoing.
Given this geocache's name, I had expected a different type of hide. As others have done, I had gotten a park right next to GZ and as we were talking into the scrub, my GPSr wanted me to backtrack. After scanning the structure, the different but unique cache type was spotted, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. There were quite a few of the thin caterpillar species about, so perhaps they could sense upcoming inclement weather, or still recovering from last night's storm? Thanks ash&shaun1003 for the cache placement, and [E_Smiley](https://coord.info/PREYGEN) for its ongoing maintenance.Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp.----------Merry Christmas! The family celebrated Christmas staying in Robina on the Gold Coast, which provided an opportunity to visit geocaches in the region. This morning, like many others having the same plan on Boxing Day, [@jesswrigley](https://coord.info/PRNW59T), baby Cottontail and I headed to the beach for a swim and play. We headed to Palm Beach as it had a few protective bays and beaches, and a terrific pirate ship playground. Upon our return back to Robina, I was allowed to stop for a few geocaches in Burleigh Waters.
First cache in this area whilst visiting friends. Have seen this type of camo before and I reallY like it. TFTC!
Out and about shopping and thought this woyld be quick p&g. And we have no idea what the plinth could be paper and inside bag wet and log full due to ink running
Apologies for the late log. We were on a weekend break up to the Coast to see some distant cousins and after arriving on Friday evening, I headed out on Saturday morning to grab a few caches. This one took a while before I finally spotted it. Thanks for the cache E Smiley.
I'm hitchhiking from Gympie to Sydney, and I finally made a find today, but I've lost my pen

Another play day with Peppa, this time finding caches to complete a Challenge from the Northside.
Peppa had found this one previously, so was easy to find although the elevation was a bit of a stretch in the rain. Took it back to the car to sign log before returning it back to its hide.

Today is all about a new crazy challenge on the Northside of Brisbane… which this cache helps me to qualify for…
Parking within metres of GZ it was a tiring walk to the cache… where it didn’t take long to spot the familiar container…
After seven years, I’m guessing we’ve learnt the purpose of the pillar, which seeing there are two of them I’d assume it used to make the formal entrance to an industrial estate…

On holidays for Easter and while visiting a nearby Parkrun, I did a few geos. Great opportunity to see areas of the Gold Coast that I would otherwise never visit. If I hadn’t seen this type of cache before it would have stumped me! TFTC
Looks like cross between a homeless camp and a chop shop at the moment. Can't find anything useful
Exploring locations around the Gold Coast and this is one of the caches we targeted and found. Thanks
I love these containers. I've just been to my son's bucks party at the local. I now need to clear my head. TFTC
I had searched for this cache many years ago and I had it on watch list and as there had been some recent finds on it I decided to check it out again.
I came prepared for some serious bush bashing and a long search but the GPS took me to an altogether different location from last time.
This time I spotted the cache straight away. I signed the log and returned the cache and then headed off for lunch at a friends place. A couple of hours later I discovered that I had misplaced my hiking pole and thought back to my hunt for this one and decided to return to see if it was there. Another quick find of it leaning up against the cache hide.

Needed a traditional today so this one was targeted. A nice quick find at GZ, TFTC!
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
I had previously searched for the first version of this cache and all I got was to be eaten alive by Mosquitos and a DNF. It was great to be able avenge my previous DNF and turn it into a . Today I was not stumped, and made an easy find. Thanks for the new, improved version of this cache. I like it.
Found on 19/03/2020 before the CV restrictions. I am catching up on my logs

I have no idea what that pillar was for! Weird that it just its there. Found the cache, having seen these before, I am glad I looked there first and didn't try the spot on the other side. The cache was found during our Leap Day 2020 road trip, a day which saw us attend an event in the morning, find a stack of caches, do a fair chunk of maintenance due to recent torrential rains and another event for dinner! We also managed to complete 24 geocaches in 24 hours so I can now go and buy a new geocoin! This is now also a new record for us, beating our 2012 record of 22 finds. All is good with this geocache.
This cache has been replaced due to old age/water damage, Please enjoy your day.
Found a load of logs, lots of mosquitos, a duck family heaps of prickly branches what I did not find was a cache ️
I'm stumped too ... bit more cleared than my last attempt, but still a mystery because of so many possible stumps, logs & branches to search.
I completed a fairly detailed search but didn't find this one. Thanks ash&shaun1003.
This area is very overgrown.
Mosquito city.
We saw several stumps but no cache.
Did not find.
Photo is nearby creek, which is the first direction we took... but I think the cache zone is better accessed from the road.
If someone finds this one, can you give us a hint please?

Disappointed I don’t think it is there it was last found ages ago. We were here on the 28.04.2019.
Ground is covered in Dead leaf litter. Lots of fallen trees around and was raining so a little muddy. Didn't find....
I spent 30 minutes searching around the area and reading previous logs and looking at pictures but still couldn't locate the hide. I'm pretty sure I know what I was looking for but I couldn't see anything like it around.
I am stumped! I was in the right location based on photo's in the image gallery. But I could not located the short stump that is in the photo's. After hundred's of mosquitos descended on me and proceeded to eat me a live I beat a quick retreat.
Found it! (thanks to the pictures) It is indeed small and was a bit muddy and gross too with all the rain so is it wrong that we just took a photo of it for proof but didn't write in the log? Tftc
Would not of found this without the pics. Replaced compacted wet log, still a little left in bottom but didn't have anything with me to remove it. Definitely needs some TLC, starting to fall apart. Great hide just the same.

Bushbashed near to gz but with no idea what im looking for, resorted to past logs and photos. Its there all right, hide and logbook has seen better days. Couldn't sign log as it disintegrated in my hand, so photo proof. Definitely needs some tlc. Thanks for placing one here!
Found it after "Hanging Around" on the way home. Log wet, dryer paper if unrolled a bit. Didn't have a micro log with me so gave it 5 minutes in the sun and replaced. TFTC
I have an appointment at Burleigh Heads today, but left myself plenty of time on the trip down from Brisbane to pick up a few caches long the way
Last one before the appointment, and I was running short of time, so didn't really give it as good a search as needed No smiley for me.

This was a clever hide, and after circling around a little I looked more closely at something I had noticed earlier. The log is crumbling quite a lot, and even though I was able to add my name it is in need of some TLC. I took a photo of the log as proof of find just in case too
Thanks to ash&shaun1003 for the cache.

Very clever camo. Almost too good. I never would have found it if I didn't look at the photos. Log is very wet.TFTC
We couldn't sign the log as it was to wet to get out of the tiny log???? We took photos if you need proof.
This was a quick stop off today and i was goping for a quick find because it was getting dark.
I circled around a little bit but eventually i came upon some suspicious camo and i thiught i had found it... oh hang on... no cache... oh wait there it is.. very tricky almost missed it. Now i can get out of here... the mozzies are waking up.
Thanks for the smiley here today Cheers .

Took me about 10 mins of trampling around the bush, trying to avoid the copious spiderwebs. Looked through the logs and found a big clue. Very creative hiding place!
Found this one after a while, was giving up and walking back to my car when I noticed what I had seen in a photo, pulled out the log and signed it. Very sneaky, thanks!
Reasonably quick find, nice sneaky hide. Bring tweezers for this log. Had to use a twig to get it out (lost my tweezers). TFTC
We were out today with Team Benders and E(: looking for some caches in the Varsity Lakes area after a catch up event nearby. We headed off into the trees pushing branches aside. I let the ladies go first (I hate spider webs) - who could have held them back anyway? But they were going the wrong way - I circled to the left a bit more with Mrs RoddyC honing in on GZ from the opposite side, and she soon toed the cache hide!
Found at 4.05pm on 24th October 2015. TFTC.

This is the next one on the list and soon we were at GZ.
Mrs RoddyC soon found the hidden cache and we all signed our names.

Myself, Blacknano, and Willyduck were out today grabbing a few caches before visiting nearby family. We parked in the adjacent street and headed off in the direction of the GZ. After plowing through a dozen or so cobwebs we eventually found ourselves at a small clearing. At that point we realised we took the long way into the GZ...and had unnecessarily wiped out many spider homes. I had a brief hunt around before eventually spotting the sneaky hide. SL TFTC
