I was wishing we could get some of that Creamery but alas just a memory. We have been away for ten days and Mr RV geo had an appointment in Toowoomba. We had been to Goomari Pumpkin festival and had a business appointment in Cooroy, so in someways this unexpected appointment was a blessing as it took us across the ridge and we avoided all the horrible weather that so many people got caught up in. We hung out in Cliffton for two days till the rain and wind subsided so we were really ready for some exercise and something fun to do on our way home to the Gold Coast. We had little knowledge of what may find us there so we decided to take our time. We had done a couple of these before and really enjoyed the History lesson. This was a nice easy find and we really enjoyed the scenery. Thanks Muff Mafia for the Cache.

A bit of confusion nearby with a council sign warning that the road was closed. They must have not been back since the heavy rain to remove it because all was good with the road today. Found the cache, signed and replaced it, and returned to the car. Now, where is my phone? I wondered if I had dropped it at a previous cache, but no, after returning to this one there it was on the ground. Phew! [^][^]

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.

Today was a bit disorganised we were to head out and make a delivery to help the Qld Mega Committee but then a Dr's appointment changed our plans with very little notice.

After the Dr's we decided to pick up a few caches around Warwick that we had run out of time to convert into smilies last week. Once those were accomplished it was off on the highway to Cunningham's Gap for our 'rendezvous' Big Grin

Wasn't paying attention and slightly overshot this location. Amazing how well these locations are hidden, especially being a bit further from the road. This was one of those locations i wish i was a better prepared cacher (i.e. wearing long pants & closed in shoes). With no sticks close by i braved the grass and eventually made it over to GZ. Quick cache grab and sign and i braved heading back to the car. TFTC Muff Mafia, another interesting location. Smile

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Muff Mafia. We found your cache "S.D.H.S. Creamery of 1894" at 11:44:00 AM today.
This was our 4th cache find in a caching run of 15 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9406.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was in the company of Team Robins, Rainforest Cookie and Rat Dog 12.
We thoroughly enjoyed our zig-zag route through the countryside, visiting many interesting spots along the way.

Please excuse the boilerplate logs. It's really not an excuse but, we find it really difficult to craft individual logs when we do so many similar caches in a day.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

we in dairy country now and Paul's dairies at that. Ratdog and I used to live/work on a dairy that has succumbed to the degruglation and Coles/woolies price wars of more recent time. Its get bigger or get out.

I am in town to find all of the new caches in the area since I left town year ago. Smile
After a morning over at the Dam I am now continuing the day on the south side. Smile
With the phone binging like crazy I thought I would head south in search on some FTF's. Cool
After finding a few FTF's I had better find the others in the area hadn't I. Razz
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

If the sign was not here you'd never know. We really do not preserve our history well, rather sad... On a happier note the cache was found and the log signed! Cheers Muff Mafia Big Grin

Standing here in this quiet spot trying to imagine what this looked like...so wish there was more info/photos on these signs. My father grew up on a dairy farm on Inverammsay Rd in the Goomburra valley.

Out with the geofamily collecting a few smileys on Mothers Day. So after finding this one then dropping half and then having to search through the grass then finding it and replacing the cache we were here for a little bit! The flies were bad here too! Again great history. TFTC Muff Mafia

64 Km from home.
A day trip down to Morgan Park Warwick to watch my mates turn fossil fuel into noise and smiles at the QLD Super Sprint Series.
With Mrs R-F so ‘miffed’ about micros I was surprised she was out of the car and half way to the GZ without a GPS or any other aids by the time I got the engine turned off.

The co-ords were good, the hide, the log and the container are all in good nick.
Thanks for the caches Muff Mafia.

Another early start with nothing to do as I am down in this neck of the woods for a short while. I grew up on the downs and have family who were involved in Dairying and spent a lot of time in the 1960's and 1970's driving on these types of roads and in this sort of country. I got to see a lot of associated infrastructure to that industry. Progress is she not grand. Another NANO and a very quick find. Signed log YOF as this is what I use on small logs to save room as youngoldfella in my big hand takes up a lot of paper. TFTC Muff Mafia.

On our way to Stanthorpe today for the festival and took a detour to try our luck with this new series. This was an easy find. A great idea for a series. Enjoying learning about the local history. My how things have changed!

When the notification came through that this series was published we were both busy and couldn't come out. The weekend came and we checked the series and noticed that Stargon1 only picked up a few FTF so we thought we would attempt. And yes we missed this one. Congrats to Stargon 1 on the FTF.
