I came here sometime ago late at night and was unable to secure a find Even though having zeroed in straight on it today it was quite evident that, back then, I had had my hand on it on many occasions.Today I had to bide my time as a muggle birthday party was taking place adjacent to GZ.. it took two hours of visiting other caches and periodically calling back to see if it was clear.A clever and creative hide Deserving of an FP!

I needed to go that bit further with this and to find that cache. I touched it at the beginning of the search and moved on. Cache and log are good. Favourite point. TFTC Squizzie_

Called in here to complete a stage of an Adventure Lab. Great to have a physical cache here as well. I fiddled with the hide several times before I twigged where it was! Favourite point from me. Some 59 years ago I played netball for North Adelaide Juniors and of course NAFC was the team our family barracked for! Thank you, Squizzie_; cache #4399.

Last day of my Mega experience in Adelaide I decided to stay local and pick up some urban caches before returning the car and heading back to Brisbane.Upon arriving at a suitable spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero whereupon it did not take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and mark made, I was quickly back to the car and off on the next geocaching adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache and making it available to be found.Cheers

02-Mar-24
Another that I missed logging . It was a lovely day in the park with quite a lot of muggles about. A baby shower being the most animated. They are all so engrossed with their doings that they paid us no mind. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

Adelaide day three: Teamed up with RoamingHowie, Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 to check out Adventure Island followed by some high-fave caches. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Squizzie_ ??~????????~

Oh My, not sure what day number it is or what caches I did yesterday, been caching for a while and the days and the caches just run into each other. With the Leap Day event over and the Grapes done yesterday, I am looking forward to a morning of small walks and then to finish the day off with some target caching around town. It will still be a long day as well that's what I'm here to do, lol. To save space on log sheets we signed as BOLD 9. Adelaide is proving to be somewhat of a great place to live. The atmosphere and the people seem to be just nice. While i have ventured out of town a little there are some really nice pockets, I will admit there does not seem to be any bad areas as such that I have come into. Thanks for the caches today and the hides, all were replaced as they were found, sorry for the generic logs but I did find a good number again today.

02-Mar-24
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday. All challenges will be checked for qualifying at a future time.

02-Mar-24
Last evening in Adelaide collecting a few stray caches in and around our accommodation as part of the BOLD09 circus troupe. The last supper and fill of firewater was held at a nearby pub that welcomes Qlders unlike another pub encountered today. Then we hit the streets to cache before heading back to the cot. Another interesting cache with a large amount of FPs that drew our collective attention. Thanks Squizzie for entertaining us locally!

02-Mar-24
Geoturtle37, OzHockeyChick, RoamingHowie and myself had a great time on Adventure Island this morning and were now picking up some selected caches. This was targeted as it is liked by so many, and that being my name didn't hurt. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and Im now in Adelaide for a week.Well it is the start of Mega week for me and lets see how I go.I met up with Roaming Howie for the day again (he must be a sucker for punishment) and the main target for the day is LGAs for me and anything else on his list.Just touring the suburbs as we go.A nice looking oval and stands here and as we zeroed in on GZ some muggles moved on and Howie had the cache in hand as I was looking also where. We found somewhere to park the GeoRanger and off we went in search of this one.We added our names to the log and now to get to the next one and the next one and the next one. Thanks TFTC.

Out and about grabbing a few caches in the inner north of Adelaide CBD. Nice warm weather today whos keeping lots of muggles away - good geocaching weather. I remember being here before early on in my geocaching adventures and walked away scratching my head. But today with a few more caches under my belt I immediately spotted something interesting and came up with the cache. Very well disguised cache. Worthy of one more favourite point. We are staying in Adelaide for a week and have a couple of days before my neice joins and and we start the catch ups with family over here Smile We targeted high FP caches as well as others nearby. After going back to the HH for lunch we set off again in a different direction and this was next. On arrival a whole group of school kids and instructor came out of the club and were gathered about 10m from GZ so we looked at the other monuments and clay tilings nearby till they all headed off elsewhere. We then made the very cool find - another FP coming your way!! Enjoying your hides!

Southern Autumn adventure Day 29. Blackwood SA trip Day 10. I decided to have a concerted effort to finish the Gimmie Shelter Adventure lab set I started who know when on my last day in Adelaide this trip. At each area I scouted out at least two geocaches, so I had a fun but busy afternoon of caching. I found some very industrial areas I had never been to before, and had a visit to the parade Norwood I have not spent much time in.

I went for a walk around the block here after finding the bunker at the oval nearby. The cache was a real surprise. I love the outer parts.

Thanks for the cache Squizzie_

In hindsight, this wasn't too challenging a find as we have seen similar hides many times before. However, we do have an aversion to fiddling close to these kind of structures Smile In the end, it's good to turn this cache into a smiley as our previous visits (and there were a few) always ended up in failure. Not today Smile TNLNSL TFTC

Down in the city today for the uni open day, grabbing some caches where we can. 20 finds for today with 6 of those being lab cache stages. This cache is one that was found today.

Another clever cache in this area. Thought we didn’t have the cache at first, but turns out the lid was a little tight. Log book is very wet, otherwise all good here. Cheers for the cool cache, a FP.

I was trying to quickly grab a cache at sunset - maybe the problem - but I had some hard luck. I was confused on which side it was; the footy club or prospect oval, both showed 3m away. Maybe I’ll go some other time with more time on my hands.

Went out for a few caches after the "Lets talk... Leap 2024" event, sounding like it'll be a good day with lots of great minds working on it.

A total of 18 finds for the day, including a FTF.

A sneaky find that was quickly located.

Log a bit damp but still signable, although I wouldn't be surprised if I smudged my stamp ink as soon as I rolled it up.

Two favourite points for one CO in one night.

Cache retrieved and signed with stamp.
