Thankyou to the 44 geocachers that headed out to find this one. I was going to drop in a new container soon but I'm going to let it go instead.
Cheers

I was informed about a burnt out car that was close to GZ awhile back but until today I forgot to head around to have a look.
It was indeed close. Very close infact, it was right next to the cache.
After checking on the cache, I've decided to remove it so I can get hold of a new one.
Back soon.

TFTCSL quick find by Berken!! Caching with Berken having a great caching day on the Gold Coast! Been waiting forever for Berken to come do this series with me!!!
This one was a fairly quick find ( unlike it's neighbour up the road.. ). Looking around GZ... I spied the "cache"... log is damp, but ok to sign. TFTC !!!
Out caching with Cantcacheus2014 today for a few more smileys. Nice quick, easy and creative find! Thanks for another brilliant cache monkey maker!
Log was a little hard to write on as it was wet but other than that, fantastic.

Find No: 4922. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at my brother's in Nerang, played bowls this morning at Musgrave Hill Bowlo with Kotara Flying Bowlers, filling in some time this arvo before going out to Food Fantasy at Jupiter's Casino for our niece's birthday, thanks for the cache !!
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
The Mega had come to a close and the fun had finished so we were back on the Gold Coast. Our energy was low so we decided we'd have a cruisy day of caching around the area.
Quick and easy, park and grab whilst RW waited in the car.
Thanks for the hide, monkey maker

Back on the Gold Coast today to continue caching. The holiday is starting to wind down in preperation for the long drive back to Canberra.
Today we found alot of caches from Nottinghamers who I must admit have some very creative hides We had a wonderful day out and about collecting caches and placing our stamp in the log books.
We decided to give this one a crack while we were driving passed. I parked up safely and specimenX ran across to conduct the search. She soon returned to the car and cache was found signed and logged.
Thanks monkey maker for placing this cache for us to make a find on

This was our second cache in this series and geohubby came up with the find quite quickly while I was looking a little further away. Nice sneaky cache again Monkey Maker. Thanks for placing this series. [^][^]
Tftc. By watching the area from a right angle, you can search many possible places. Of course, I first searched wrong object.
Its Boxing Day & its far to busy to go to Harbour Town so we have ventured out a little further to some retail outlets. Shopping over & time to grab a few caches.
With such a quiet day on the roads, we crossed the road in relatiely safety. Cache quickly found.

A Saturday night visit to these two caches and the results were mixed. After spending a bit of time a couple of hundred meters up the road, I decided to try for this one and turn my proverbial frown upside down.
Within a few minutes the cache was in hand. It looks like the moisture had washed away some of the other names leaving heaps of room for my name.
Thanks for the cache Monkey Maker. Cheers!!
Find number 1909.... so here is something you didn't know (or maybe did know) about 1909...... (speaking of vehicles).... Formerly known as the "Motor Traffic Act 1909" the "Traffic Act 1909 No 5" is still be used by NSW for traffic related laws. It has been amended numerous times over the years and would certainly look a lot different now compared to the original.

Sooty rolled to a stop on the other side of the road and I played dodgem with the traffic. See,s to be a car in either direction about nice a minute so not quite quiet. Jumped the barrier and looked for the cache.
Signed the logbook and as it was a hot day, decided to make one more stop then drive back to Brisneyland and turn in the air con

Had the time to grab 5 today, this being one of them...
Another quick grab, something a bit different. Fav from me.

A few weeks ago teamdfl asked me if would be free today and would I like to go do 'Up The Creek cache and the two others attached to it.
Yes and yes.
With the rain this last weeks or so we had a chat last night and decided to go anyway.
After successfully finding those caches we headed home....O look a couple of drive by's.
How can we resist. [?]

On the way home from a walk and wade up a creeek with Brother Colin. Only a slight detour from the optimal route to get these. We had both done enough walking for the day so these sounded perfect.
The rain had stopped for a while, so the hunt was quite pleasant. We parked nearby and wandered over to look. It had us guessing for a moment, but it was soon spotted. Very nice.

My first reaction was, that could be handy for junior Ferg, guess what,it was the cache.TFTC
We were passing by on our way home from a walk up at Binna Burra so stopped to grab this cache. We parked on the opposite side of the road and walked across. Both the GPSr and the phone were jumping around so we searched up and down and after a little while Mrs. Herbz spotted something. Ahha! Here it is. TFTC monkey maker.
Quick stop and noticed something out of place. Closer investigation revealed the cache [^]

We needed a cache today to fill in a blank on the calendar and the girls (Geo Mum included) wanted to go to the pool for a while and I didn't want to freshen up a cold so I had the perfect excuse to go for this one.
I realised it was on the other side of the road with the direction I approached so I headed further along so I didn't break the law. Well finally I came to a road and did a quick U turn and headed back to GZ.
I parked very close and started searching, I spent more time because I believed the first reading on the GPS but finally I got to the right point and the rest was easy.
Thanks Monkey Maker TFTC SL

I had completed a few other caches in Nerang today so seeing this was a recently published cache I was keen to grab it this afternoon. Perhaps today just wasn't my day at this GZ but my GPSr wanted me just inside the southbound lane. I had a quick look nearby but turned up empty handed. Resorted to PAF to confirm where I should be.
With some advice I soon had the cache in hand. The log is damp but it didn't stop me adding my name to the list. Future cachers may do well to bring a texta or similar with them. TFTC. SL.

On my midmorning trip to Bunnings I decided to detour for monkey maker's latest. I did feel a bit silly standing by the side of the road waiting for all of the traffic to pass. I always hope that no one is committing a crime in any area that I visit for these by the road caches. I think of the potential "I saw a woman behaving strangely at such and such an hour." I wonder if any cacher has been approached for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Finally a break in the traffic and I spotted something out of place. A bit wet after last night's rain. Thanks monkey maker.

FTF @ 11.11 pm. Almost 10 pm when the notices came in for a group of three new caches in our search radius. We spent 30 minutes looking for the first to no avail so we drove another 25 minutes to try our luck at this one. We searched in all the usual places and then we kicked ourselves for not thinking like Monkey Maker... Hehe... By torchlight Anth made the find and we headed back to the car to grab a late night treat of Dark Chocolate on the way home. A very clever, but for us a not so quick drive by. Thanks monkey maker, for placing the 519th cache we've found so far!
