The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Hi there ActiveAdventures,
RE: Your cache **"Whyalla Outdoor Adventures - Civic Park"**
We looked for your cache today, but as there's so many DNf's here already we didn't see any point in adding another.
Could you please do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and perhaps replace (or archive) it if it isn't.
Regards
Ian & Penny

I found this cache on a return visit to Whyalla.
I lived here for a year, in 2011/12, before moving to Berri, in the Riverland region of SA.
It was great to revisit the Whyalla area and to explore some of the tracks and trails. TFTC

I was, very generously, offered a trip to Whyalla with Moneydork that was too good to refuse!
Tonight's stop was in Whyalla and between Port Augusta, Iron Knob and Whyalla I found 60 caches but ended the day with the only DNF
A quick find after a short walk into an interesting park

Found with Team Waldron and The White Dog Gang as part of a three day jaunt over to the west coast. This cache added to around 200 caches found in a range of bush and city settings in Whyalla, Port Augusta, Iron Baron and lots of other places. TFTC.
Doing a Whyalla & surrounding area run with Team Waldron & Trail 06.
This was one of the many we found.
Cool spot, thanks for bringing us here

After spending most of the day bashing through the prickly scrub caching it was nice to come to this park with real grass!! And what was even better was that this was a real cache - not a nano or a micro.
Thanks for that.
Thanks for that.
GZ was a little out for us, but not hard to find the cache, the clue helped. We enjoyed walk in the park on a great day. Thanks ActiveAdventres for the cache and smiley face.
Found on a nice Sunday afternoon caching run to begin our August campaign.
Thanks to Active Adventures for the Cache.
Thanks to Active Adventures for the Cache.
Have I mentioned how much I hate crawling about under trees? It seemed like every tree close to GZ was cleared, we determined that it must be a very hard cache to find...until I read Fishingmads log and realised 30 odd people searching could do a lot of free gardening, and on the strength of that Im considering placing a cache in my back yard.
Found with Tempo, having waited for a few to do in the area before doing these we had a good day searching and finding
Found while caching in the area with CPwanderer. A nice cluster of caches in this area. Thanks.
After a bit of shopping across the road, I was definitely leaving towne today
Yesterday's attempt to leave towne found me back here when the road I took to head south, turned out to be a dead end after 15 kms
But !! Before I leave I may as well find a few more caches
Civic Park had four to find !!
Unfortunately, muggles were sitting at the first cache near the carpark
So I wandered off past the skate park, wondering if anyone could see me on the camera
Here at GZ I was out of sight of any cameras or muggles and soon had the cache in paw
That basic black camo works a treat !! [^]

[Blue]# 9600 Found on the SA leg of our S.K.I.D.R.O. adventure.[/Blue]
Today was more of the FTF trail, the August trail and others while at Whyalla for a few days.
Not many muggles around and not many cachers here lately either.
Most co-ords were good which made them quicker to find.
Thanks for the cache ActiveAdventures,

Having been involved with the hiding of this one, I am just claiming the find. I was showing a group what Geocaching was all about so it was found in the company of about 30 people. TFTC.
Found on a nice day for a walk through the park to clean up a few of the in town caches. Took some finding as the GPS was all over the place. TFTC
Today, we picked up a few caches around town, that we had previously missed.
Parked nearby, and enjoyed the walk in these lovely gardens.
Cache was an easy find, and in good condition.
Thanks for the hunt today, ActiveAdventures.

Beautiful Autumn day in Whyalla. Took 4 geo-girls out for a walk while the geo-wife did some school prep.
Great spot for a hide - had to get rid of spiders before retrieving the cache.
Thanks ActiveAdventures from IlludiumPU36

Could not be bothered walking to this one so decide to go to maccas for a ice-cream instead
Looks like we local FTF hounds are a dying breed - leave a published cache for an hour and a half and still no-one else has tried for it - it'd be very different in Adelaide! I thought I might have been beaten to it as a bike rider was leaving near GZ as I approached, but he can't have been a geocacher.
FTF at 1940. Left silver gecko.
Thanks ActiveAdventures and fishingmad.
