Phew that took a while! We were in the right spot but hunted for ten minutes before locating! Thank you!
Went out for a bit of a walk with the wife and dogs and grabbed a couple of caches in the Olinda golf course we couldn't get previously. This log was drenched and probably requires replacing.TFTC
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Five: Yarra RangesWeather: the first day without wind and a great afternoon. The trees around here are indeed magnificent; its all red river gums where I come from. Plenty of dog walkers coming and going here. This is a bit of a tricky hide, with so many hiding places for a micro and shifty GPS guidance. One of the previous logs helped me greatly. The cache is in good shape. Thanks for this hide Mincka.
Honestly after the forst for i was too puffed to give a hoot and it was quite busy so i called it quits, previous logs says its still there so dont take my dnf to heart
TFTC. Found after dark one evening after a lovely dinner at the tea house. Was about to give up. In fact, Id looked twice until Gio wife tried harder. I dont like the clue so much, better one would be draining.
Took a lot of looking for this but after trusting the coordinates we found it! Loved the golf course series. Really good. Thanks so much for putting these here and upkeeping them!
Took a little time but thanks to a hint from a previous log we finally found it . TFTC
Quite a tricky little find. The CO hint had us a bit confused, but a comment from a previous log was what led us to success
Found the incorrect cache today and removed it. This was at least 50 metres off course.
Took a bit of finding but luckily we had the place to ourselves, otherwise this would be a tricky one to get.
Making the most of the sunny day we headed to Olinda for a look around at the shops, then took the kids to the playground here. Heaps of cool things to keep them entertained. Before heading off the geoson and I decided to hunt this one down. There were a few muggles around so it took a bit longer than we expected, but soon enough we noticed something that looked a little unnatural. TFTC!
I.found it walking from another geocache under neath the old golf store in a hole is it moved?????
Tricky with a van parked right at GZ but was able to discreetly locate, sign and replace.
Took us a while! We're very new to this but this gave me a real buzz when I found it. It was clever! Sneaky little hide. I don't think the clue is very relevant. It was one of the clues in another log that meant I could find it.
Last second I found it as I was walking away clue threw me off a little
#1799Life is always so busy, but today I feel like I can breath a little as my Welder and I meander our way over the hills. Its six weeks since I have managed to collect a cache. Lets hope I can get more in feature! Nice hide thank you.
We visited Olinda Public Golf Course this Saturday in early spring. The pleasant weather with its ideal temperature made the day comfortable and inviting. The serene atmosphere of the course, coupled with the lush green surroundings and vibrant rhododendron flowers, created a soothing environment. It was an incredibly relaxing experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Great spot, we used to looking at wrong places, finally got there after looking for awhile. TFTC!
In the area but too many people around to really give it a thorough search so it was pretty cursory - will have to come back again when its wet and horrible and no one around.
Just caught this one as we were about to leave. Thanks Mincka for the cache

1st cache find on this glorious morning, this cache then took me to the nearby Botanical gardens that I highly recommend..do the adventure lab there and enjoy the stroll.
The bits used to hide the cache from muggles were ever so slightly obvious. (Anyone not explicitly looking wouldn't notice). Too clean for their location maybe? Which was a relief as we had people were waiting. Brought a smile to geochild's face, TFTC
Having just changed a on my map to a , I came here and ended up putting another on my map... with the indicated GZ wandering around by several metres in all directions, I couldn't settle on any good places to hide a cache.
Couldn’t find it at first. We then looked at what other people said and there is a photo that gives a big clue!
Thank you for the cache. We had just done the adventure lab series nearby so thought we’d grab this on our way out. Driving a new car so didn’t have the requisite stash of pens to sign the log.
Was focused on the wrong thing for far too long but once I stopped and reset it was an easier enough find. Didn't have a pen unfortunately
I stopped by here on a walk with my GeoPup. I was going to let him have a run on the old golf course reserve, but within a couple of moments he was covered in grass seeds, so we abandoned that in favour of a walk on Matthias Road (where he still got covered in grass seeds from the grass beside the track).
I had looked for this one before without success, but a (warned) spoiler photo in a recent log proved the difference and I was able to recover the cache discreetly, even with a family setting up for a barbecue just nearby. TFTC

Another sneaky one this one took abit as kids going wild .cant log as log no good
Location for this one is spot on. But unfortunately it attracts water and that has got into the cache. Log soaked and barely able to make a mark. Thanks for the cache.
This one took two attempts today. An initial reconnaissance of the area had us thinking this could be a while and then a family setup on the bbq. We headed to the nearby playground for the kids to burn some energy while we thought about options and kept coming back to the same idea for a hide. 30 minutes later the coast was clear and we zipped in and made the find. TFTC and challenge.
I had some time today between errands to head for the hills and search out a few caches.
I DNFed this cache six months ago, but got a hint from a previous finder and so returned today to make the find.
Quite wet, but managed to sign the log.

This is the first time Steve & I have had the pleasure of exploring this disused Golf Course and are so glad we chose this location for our geocaching day. Seems we were the only ones without a dog and boy, did they all look like they were having the time of their lives running around this area.
Up and down hills, we enjoyed every minute of our walk, especially when we found the caches.
Wonderful playground for the kids and there were plenty of them enjoying themselves. Luckily we were far enough away from prying eyes to where we needed to search. This was the most difficult find for the day, and after concentrating on a few possibilities without success, sat down and read the logs. From then, the sneaky hide was soon discovered. Nice one!
Thanks Mincka for placing this cache and the series in this beautiful location.

Took us a while. GPS jumping all over the place. Nice for kids to help find. Photo attached might give away a clue if needed. TFTF
Starting off the day with a DNF is never good. Luckily things picked up from here. I'll be back to give this another shot!
Out with the storm bringer on a cold day today, we looked around for a while and then saw the gc. Tftc Mincka!
#7/7 of our successful day in this park (24/4/22). Tried once without success on arrival then left it for later when our 4-legged cacher started getting impatient. On return, after a bit of searching, Spessa Jnr made the find while the Snrs were buying coffee. That was quite a tricky one!
