The day after attending the Rural Safari in Crows Nest, decided to do some caches before heading home to Brisbane.
Very well hidden as a few of us scratched around it without noticing it was there. TFTC

Returning from the Rural Challenge in Crows Nest this weekend and collecting a few caches around the Highfield area.

9 Km from home.
Our second attempt at this cache albeit a few years apart, out and about to unwind after some heavy landscaping around our GZ. Our new geo-buggy needed its first refuel =, we headed for Gowrie Junction and picked this one up along the way
We took nothing but memories; we left nothing but footprints and our tag.
The hide, log and container are all in good nick.
Thanks for the cache 4tardis
Cheers

Enjoying grabbing a few caches as we make our way along this road. Not too much traffic along here today which made it easier for us.
Wasn't too hard to find. All good here.
Thanks for placing these caches and adding to our fun today.

We had been keeping our eyes out for a potential sighting of the TARDIS along the way, and it was enroute to this cache I spotted the TARDIS, however, we had to turn around because Mrs LHE Duo only spotted the doctor. I guess today the TARDIS chameleon circuit must have been working today.

Anyway back to the cache and this one was soon in hand once we arrived here, and was quickly signed and replaced before continuing along.

Out with OrionJ and we were both keeping an eye out for the Tardis. However, I totally missed it as I was washing the Doctor at the gate. OrionJ found a spot to turn around to take me back to see it. This made my day. We proceeded on to GZ and soon made the find and added our names to the log. I will add a favourite here which is for the group of caches but this one being closest to the Tardis gets the favourite. TFTC 4tardis

We were in Toowoomba to tick off some caches and had done some here before ,great location TFTC

A meet up with IolantheK today and collecting a few caches in the Toowoomba area. We were parked over the road from the GZ and mooed at the cows who watched us intently but carried on munching on the grass. A quick find here too. TFTC 4tardis

After a big morning out around town on the geocycle I had retired to the geomobile for a few finds this afternoon.

I was very happy to see the Doctor and his T.A.R.D.I.S. on my travels. I also saw a buggy being drawn by two beautiful horses.

Made it worth while indeed.

Now don't get the Doctor started on libraries. His Grand Life Plan was to immerse himself therein, he did the training (well, most of it), but then it all flittered away after a few years as the career took a U-turn. Now he's retired he's not even allowed to shelve books as a volunteer. The find though went according to plan.

Finding a great combination of traditional and puzzle caches kept up well occupied in this attractive town. Nice one Big GrinBig Grin Thanks to 4tardis.

26-Jan-15
I think I was lucky to find this one. The grass between the road and GZ is waist high. There was not many places to check and I had to dig a bit through the grass and mulch before the cache came to hand. Not the best cache for this type of location but somehow the log has remained dry.

TFTC.

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there 4tardis. We found your cache "TARDIS Trail - No.5 The Library" at 10:10:00 AM today.
This was our 5th cache find in a caching run of 15 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9516.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached. With this cache the total now stands at 227 Days.

Another day traipsing around the countryside, dodging roadworks and listening to the GPS telling us to take roads that don't exist. Maybe it's time to update the maps in the trusty Garmin. Big Grin

Please excuse our boilerplate logs. It's not really a good excuse, but it is often really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. Wink
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

I have not been caching in a serious sense since early May. Back in the saddle yesterday and it was after 1600 when I arrived in Toowoomba so drove home via a few on the New England Highway.

Back today and started with the Cooby Dam lot that are available. Now having completed those ten I will try and get as many of these as I can. I found #8 yesterday on my way home. Could not stop for numbers 4 and 7 due to the continuing roadworks. Arrived at GZ and looked in the most likely spot and had a quick find. Signed log YOF as this is what I use on Nano and Micro logs to safe space. TFTC 4tardis.

12-Jul-14
Today we were able to tick another of the Tardis Trail off our to do list, we now have three to go. Inbetween the road work we were able to find a safe spot to stop so that we could search for this Cache. We found the Cache in the likely spot, where we signed the log book before returning it.

Cheers 4tardis

07-Jul-14
Today we did a full day of caching in Toowoomba region. From the town region & out to Cooby Dam.
All the caches we found were in good condition & some wonderfull & scenic locations.
We enjoyed our run doing the the Tardis Trail. Saw the Tardis close to close to number 4.
We were not able to do Tardis 4 & 7 because of the road works.
Thanks for placing this cache 4tardis

8 Km from home.
With Mrs R-F away and me almost out of groceries it was off to town to some shopping and what better way to do that but cache my way into town.
Another blank, searched all what I thought were the likely places but to no avail. Once Mrs R-F returns I will bring another set of eyes with me.
