Quick find early this evening with eltee291! Just a matter of getting in there! Seemed the cache was a tab beat up but still fine. Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada! Thanks for the cache! Smile

Quickly found today with hingis20. We are on vacation from Victoria, BC, Canada and today we are traveling to Wellington with an overnight stay in Palmerston North. Geocaching and beautiful scenery - can't get any better. TFTC

First cache woo

25-Oct-16
let'ssay we saw the yellow brick road and then veered off following our GPS. Got to a good looking point but couldn't find the cache. Eventually I picked up what I had discounted as trash and there it was complete with camo and a signable log. Replaced where we think it was supposed to be and pleased to have helped save another good cache. TFTC #9565

We did and we found a cache. Unfortunately it was lying on the ground, had been trodden on and is no longer water-tight. We put it back together as best we could and rehid it where it appeared to have come from. TFTC Smile.

11-Jul-16
Having driven all the way from Hamilton to Palmeston North for work I was keen to grab a couple of Geocaches while I was here. The large number of favorite points bought me her. The container is well camoed and full of nice quality swag. I decided to drop off a really cool Geocoin I grabbed at a local event here. Thanks for taking the time to create something a little different.

After avoiding dog walking muggles I followed the yellow brick road to where I needed to be and after ducking into the shrubbery made the find quickly. Another nice construction! once again I had to remove shrubbery from the hair do, there really is nothing to see here when a woman in work clothes appears from the bush! TFTC!

I traveled down to Palmerston North for a 3 day geocaching weekend to give my numbers a bit of a boost, as I head towards my next caching milestone. I decided to fly there and back and pick up a cheap rental car for the weekend. The weather was perfect and I had a great weekend down there.

Today I joined forces with yorkshirekiwi83 for a full day of caching before an event in the city tonight. We picked up a few caches around the city first, then drove down towards Opiki collecting caches down some of the side roads as we went, then headed across to do the KAS Power Trail, before going up to do the caches around Ohakea then headed back to Palmerston North. This was our first find of the day and a cool cache to start with - very cool camo job here! TFTC - favourite point added!

Vistra and I headed down to Manawatu as the KAS trail has been bugging me in its incomplete form, as we both needed numbers for personal goals it seemed like a good opportunity. Thanks to the cache owners for all the caches and the variety, over 2 days I found over 200 caches, so thank you for placing and maintaining them.

Most were quick easy finds, although there were some very clever ones and some well thought out. This was a bit quirky and cool. TFTC

Thought it was about time I picked up a cache on this side of town. This one was handy to where I was sitting when I brought the map up. Nice little area, dropped off TB.

25-Feb-16
Quick grab. Tftc

24-Feb-16
After picking up our friends from the airport all 5 of us headed to this one to grab while we were in the area. It still took a bit of hunting as it was very well disguised, but it wasn't long before Mr Jamogen found it! Nice size hide and very well camouflaged! Thanks for hiding!

17-Feb-16
My husband had a look, with no success, when I had a look, I spotted something out of the ordinary... Success! Tftc!

08-Feb-16
Found on the way to the airport on a dry sunny afternoon. Nice camo, quickly found.

27-Jan-16
Stopped by here for a break between flying and driving and of course to follow the yellow brick road - didn't see Alice but did find NumptyBum's sunnies - have messaged about those.

Now onto the cache, with a few cabbage patches here, it took a wee minute or two to zone in on the right patch. Once at GZ a short search had the cache found, clever camo - TNLNSL. Thanks for the placement Z1mbos.

03-Jan-16
A lovely place to stop- spotted the cabbages from afar and spotted the cache. Thanks for all the creative hides Smile

Cool cache, pretty easy to find Smile

10-Aug-15
After completing the Rotorua Tough Guys & Girls Challenge in the weekend and then having to drive south for work on sunday this was going to be one of those very long weeks. So without rest and having to do presentations all day to a number of different groups today I managed to get ahead of things and make time for myself to find a few caches before the night set in.
This was the first of the afternoon so made it all the better as could get some local caches now and worry about work later on, but now its caching time.
Have been out to the country tonight so now its time to find a few aound the edge of town before heading back to do some more work

Thanks for the placement and the fun

09-Aug-15
Nice cammo. Quick find once St gz. Dropped a tb that a class is tracking. Please move it on so they can enjoy tracking it Smile. Fp awarded

01-Aug-15
Out to knock out a few caches today after an abysmal couple of lazy months what a clever little hide. Ground pretty muddy underfoot but cache safe and sound. 'Dressed' her well, back where she belongs. Tftc

29-Jul-15
Didn't find the lost sunglasses, did find this very well disguised hide. Left a shell, took the geocoin to continue its journey. Its our first coin/souvenir/TB! This should have been gumboot territory after the rain! TFTC

28-Jul-15
Returned this morning hoping to find my sunnies but no luck. Decided to drop Geocoin here for someone else to move on before I misplaced that too!

27-Jul-15
Even after a few dry days the ground was still soggy. Very cool hide. Took superhero figurine, left 2 wrist bands AND a pair of Adidas sunnies which must've fallen out of my pocket while creeping through the area. If you find them I'd be the happiest geocacher! Thanks for the smiley...a little dampened by my loss...still deserves a FP. I'll be back tomorrow for a different sort of hunt!

26-Jul-15
Found cache out of place, or we assume due to its design.
Placed back how jesserfly and myself believe it was originally.
That being said....
Nice camo job.
And nice trinkets living within.
Cheers

We were out for a drive today and decided to get a few caches while we were out,
It was a pretty cool hide, TFTC,
Sorry about the very late logging, I have been slack and am trying to catch up

02-May-15
Headed out today on a mission to find 8 caches, this would get me the souvenir for the geocaching birthday as well as my 500th cache. This was our third find of the day. We parked reasonably close and left ourselves with a short walk to the cache. We thought maybe we had walked on the wrong side at first but once we neared the gZ and read the hint we had a look around and spyed a way in which didn't require us to walk around to the other side. Very neat hide gets a favourite point from me for the extra effort on the container. Thanks for the cache, inching closer to 500!

26-Apr-15
I took the cache owner's advice and followed the YBR to the end, then I followed my GPSr's compass directions, then I finally followed my cacher's instinct to find the treasure. I did wonder if the container should have been as easy to see as it was bit I decided it was safer to put things back as I found them.

25-Apr-15
Love this park, great day for a hunt & this was 1\3 Found today! Very crafty hide! Left shoe toggle and a couple of extra "bits"! Miss popped them in b4 I could check! Fab cache. Thanks

I have found a previous cache in this area, so knew the location well. Cache well disguised, but soon to hand. Added a little more camo of the same kind when replacing. Nice one![^] Appreciate the extra effort Z1mbos. Didn't see the TB Bunny in cache.

[green] I had looked for this a long time ago and got nowhere. This time it was ridiculously easy. Why could I not find it last time??? I wasn't even in the right place...
I followed the yellow brick road to get here, which is actually the wrong way, they are all properties and it looks like there will not be a shortcut into the reserve from there. The reserve had nice short grass, but I waded through hip-high stuff. Grass seeds everywhere - in my pants, down my shoes, up my nose.
The cache is bigger than a nano (which makes me wonder - was it really Z1mbos, or did someone influence them?) So it definitely gets a fav from me. Despite the wading. Awesome!

30-Dec-14
Very cleverly disguised.

28-Dec-14
Lovely sunny day in Palmy and a few last caches to find this year to hit 500. Good coordinates and clue led me straight to it. TFTC

26-Dec-14
Very nicely camo'd and a straightforward find although I did get eaten alive by mozzies in the few minutes I was back there. Thanks for the hunt!

14-Dec-14
Circled the area for a bit while deciding the best way to GZ.
No problems finding the cache, despite the nicely constructed camo.
Left a pet rock - a grey seal. Thanks for another cleverly made cache hide.

03-Dec-14
I had 1.5 hours in Palmerston North in transit from Nelson to Hamilton this morning. I went for a walk from the airport to see how many caches I could find. I got to four before I had to head back to the terminal and fly on my way. This was the first one I came to. No problems finding this nicely camo'd container. TFTC, Biggles.

Caching some Manawatu spots on a not so favourable Labour weekend Sunday.
Happy to make a quick find on this one. Designer camo job on this one. Well done.
Wonder what happened to the intended subdivision in this area. A yellow brick road to nowhere.
Cache in order, log signed; safely re-hidden then, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too Big Grin
The Turtle strikes again!

06-Sep-14
What a cool cache container! Well worth a look this one.

30-Aug-14
We've been trying to fill in some of our dot-days recently and this one was a good option for today. However things got busy during the day so Mr All7ofusNZ ended up heading out in the dark of early evening to try and find this one. Thankfully the GPSr got a good fix and got me nice and close to GZ and the hinted object, however it took a moment or two to spot the well camouflaged container with my headlamp. TFTC Z1mbos.

28-Aug-14
Found on a trip to Palmerston North and Masterton

A great hide, well done!

26-Aug-14

Been to this location for the previous cache

21-Aug-14
Returning from Christchurch at midday decided to try some of the caches near the airport. I didn't bank on a bitter wind and the huge amount of water lying on the ground but found five caches with not too much trouble , all had good coordinates and some were really original.
Great container and cache. I am sure that there was another cache here a while back. Suggest to take gum boots as even the yellow brick road was covered in water.TFTC

17-Aug-14
A nice native planting here in the park, with a nicely camouflaged hide..good work and TFTC!!

Had a quick little rummage in the trees (which my daughter loved) to locate this one. It didn't take too long to spot the cache. Very nice camo job done here. Works well. And bigger than I was expecting! Thanks for the cache and the smiley. + FP for the camo.

16-Jul-14
TFTC nice spot, found one here previously, great camo!!!

14-Jul-14
Found one in a similar spot a year or two ago, so a quick find...but top marks for the camo.

13-Jul-14
Found with Tommygun9 and the baby. Had fun using the "cacher's route" directly through all the bushes... Until I saw a huge spider...
Good hide.. I don't know how I kept looking over it the first time!

13-Jul-14
Tried a few areas the first time and for various reasons it all went wrong, this time however we got it! Good hide of a good size, very well done.
Found with AtomsNZ while JrGun9 loved going through all the trees!

I searched in one spot with no luck so tried my luck in another spot and came up trumps. Nice camo job and great to see a bigger container.

TFTC Smile
