Dakotacats spotted this one straight away, however I was focusing more on the hint - probably best to not. TFTC
Read the short introduction in this fortification's role during WWII and finally found the cache. TFTC!
Yay! TFTC! Came all the way from Vancouver BC to find this cache! Lol. Thanks for being part of the adventure!
Hi there! Thanks for the cache. Noticed the container now has some holes in the bottom
Will need a new container when you get a chance

No luck here. Checked the obvious location matching the hint and coordinates, but didn’t see anything. Might be gone.
A nice quick find while trying to outspeed some muggles. A nice hiding spot and great view! TFTC
As we arrived Oamaro we made a little walk to Cape Wanbrow and beyond. We enjoyed the beautiful view and were able to find all the caches.
TFTC!

Down the hill tottering all the way and by the time I got there, M already had the cache in his hand.
Road trip to Oamaru with Natalie247 and Tithonian. This was our main mission for the nearby Earthcache so a bonus there are a few trads and a multi along the way. Nice quick find here by Natalie247 TFTC
This weekend was International Earthcache weekend - and yesterday was terrible weather (rain, high winds and occasional hail) that it made going for the only Earthcache in Dunedin - I haven't found already, very dangerous. So with today being amazing weather KJY, Tithonian, and I hatched a Plan B - head to North Otago, where we had a selection of Earthcaches we could go and find.
As the sun was shining in Oamaru we decided to set the target for GC1TVCF_pillow-lava-north-otago and luck was with us on tides when we arrived.
Of course to get to this cache we had to take a stroll past this cache and it would have been rude not to look for and sign this one.
After an initial wrong guess, my caching senses soon had this cache in hand.
All good at this location and thanks for the placement, it was a fun day out.

#18300. Troodles was quickly on to this one. Good to be heading back towards the car and a late-ish lunch. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 3 of our 4 day trip to Oamaru and environs. The day started with a hard frost, but soon warmed up into yet another lovely winters day. The agenda today included Cape Wanbrow, Devil's Bridge plus a puzzle cache find which I needed for my final puzzle "dot" day .
Co-ords were a wee bit out, but the cache was quickly found in the most likely spot. Enjoyed the play on words in the cache name! TFTC.

Only DNF on this round. No idea where to look and nothing what would match the hint. Next time.
Was attending the NZ Motor Caravan Assn rally at the racecourse as the morning dawned sorta fine with the promise of showers commencing soon I decide to go cyclocaching before the rain set in.
Plenty of rabbits were observed hopping around as I cruised up to GZ. Found the cache in the 2nd place I searched. This cache could also use a little love - the baggie is sideless. Thanks for the placement hill55.

TFTC, a nice extra on our Saturday morning walk. Quick and easy, and a great spot to enjoy the views up the coast. Forgot a pen but will log the book next time.
Down from Palmy & back in my hometown for Christmas. This was 1 of 11 caches on my list to find around or near Cape Wanbrow. I got talking to a local walking her gorgeous massive dog (Lab, Rotty, Ridgeback cross) and explained what I was doing so was hoping to find this one to show her. Unfortunately my geo senses weren't working, possibly because of her?! Found a cache further up the track (while alone) so returned back here for a further look but couldn't find it. Will try again next time.
Down from Palmy spending Christmas with the family in my old hometown! While searching for this one I bumped into a local and explained what I was looking for. Unfortunately my geo-senses let me down so she might've thought I was a little weird!! Will try again next time I'm back home!
First geocache in NZ on this trip! Lovely walk; went all the way down to the ocean and shared the shoreline with a lone seal for a bit. TFTC!
After arriving at the first longer destination of our travel down south yesterday. We spent today walking along the tracks at the reserve and finding a few caches on the way. This was number six of today. We started our walk at the lookout point and made our way along the tracks uphill to get to the first cache and then continued along the fenceline to find the next cache. Afterwards we followed the track down the hill to the next cache. We continued on that track to the area with the old houses to find another cache before walking down the track to the Pillow lava. After gathering the information for the earthcache we found this cache on our way back to the car just before the rain started. An easy find at GZ. Tftc.
An extra day to the weekend meant time was available to get out of town and do some caches in Oamaru with Frame Family.
A walk was required here which included some stunning views. Cache all good. Tftc

What a beautiful day to spend caching in Oamaru with Kerynz. There was a jazz festival on so there was a lot going on down by the waterfront. Went for a walk up here and found this one easily although was a bit difficult to extract the cache from it’s hiding spot. Great views too! TFTC.
Time for another walk around Oamaru and some more caches today for us. Sometimes you have the cache in front of you and just don't see it, happend to me here. Noerbi luckly did see it.

Quick find. Had a few trackables to get rid of, dropped one here. Thanks for the (H)armless walk, although hay fever has taken a hold of me now.
Found but I had no pen, great start lol! Came back a second time with Tuitigger to sign. Dropped a trackable. TFTC
3/4 the way around a headland circuit. It’s meant to be a cold rainy day but it’s hot a just cloudy. Great place for a meander and a nice breeze just here
Weekend trip to Oamaru and Dunedin for the Pink Concert so doing some caching on the way. TFTH.
Our day five we spend in Oamaru and experienced various highlights. Our walking on the Cape was very nice, the wether was fine and the caches were interesting. TFTC!
replaced wet log and dropped off a trackable that has been in my possession for too long.
Its Sunday - and day 3 of our epic adventure in Oamaru, with Geofest17 the main event this trip. We are off to a planting event at Cape Wanbrow.
But have to stop along the way for this quick snag and tag. Cheers

My gps threw a wobbly on the way to the CITO, showing absolutely nothing past the carpark except the CITO which i thought was strange, i was sure I'd seen some on the map earlier. On the way back it decided to behave so got a quick grab on the way back. Other caches in the area will have to wait I had to be back at the auditorium by 4 pm and only got back with 2 minutes to spare tftc hill55

Found on the way to the Planting CITO - after all, we walked within 2m of the cache - may as well turn aside and check it out. I wish they had kept the guns in here - would have given us a better sense of what it was like.
I thought I had logged all our Omaru caches but no Mr watcache found 2 pages I had missed. We left Fielding Thursday night 19th October and flew to Christchurch got a few caches in the area then headed towards Omaru for the first event for the weekend so nice catching up with geocachers we knew and geocachers we didn't. next day another event the geofest another great turnout then it was time to cache, the next day another event but a CITO by the beach lovely spot so glad to see that area great art work all around and a nice clean area and many more caches to find while there then it was off to get some more caches along the roads off the roads around didn't areas, it was very quiet in this area made it a lovely day to cache weather has been kind. a nice find signed the log and placed it back exactly where we found it. Thank you for placing a cache here, its a lovely area, then we headed off to the meet and greet Wellington event and had a great gathering of geocaches and a lovely meal then quickly headed off to another CITO event planting plants the views were amazing so glad we attended this event even though we were very tired after it. We headed back to our accommodation for a rest and a drink. TFTC a great day we had.
