Exactly two years ago I posted a dnf for this one. Since then the stump has suffered some more. Cache was nicely hidden. Thanks hill55
Out caching while Rubydoo is out visiting. A clever hide at a spot with a brilliant view. Thanks for putting this here. TFTC
As we arrived Omaro we made a little walk to Cape Wanbrow and beyond. We enjoyed the beautiful view and were able to find all the caches.

Road trip to Oamaru with Natalie247 and Tithonian. This was our main mission for the nearby Earthcache so a bonus there are a few trads and a multi along the way. Quick find once in the right spot TFTC
The first find for this one. Maybe the ha ha in the hint was a hint not to be distracted by the stump and look under something nearby, there again maybe not. Well the stump got a real going over with no luck. Another cache joins my watch list.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 3 of our 4 day trip to Oamaru and environs. The day started with a hard frost, but soon warmed up into yet another lovely winters day. The agenda today included Cape Wanbrow, Devil's Bridge plus a puzzle cache find which I needed for my final puzzle "dot" day .
We should have carried along along the bike track, as it would have been quicker. SW found the plastic bag first then the container. Not worth putting the damp log book back into the bag as it was ripped. TFTC.

Could not find a slab but an obvious hiding spot with excellent coords. Easy find, thanks.
Was attending the NZ Motor Caravan Assn rally at the racecourse as the morning dawned sorta fine with the promise of showers commencing soon I decide to go cyclocaching before the rain set in.
Powered my ebike to within 10m and took to my shanks. I did wonder what the "ha ha" was for but I needn't have. The cache could do with a little love as the baggie is bottomless. TFTC

Down from Palmy & back in my hometown for Christmas. This was 1 of 11 caches on my list to find around or near Cape Wanbrow. Great wee hide

Down from Palmy spending Christmas with the family in my old hometown! Thankfully it was a quick find here and some beaut views of Oamaru! TFTC
After arriving at the first longer destination of our travel down south we spent today walking along the tracks at the reserve and finding a few caches on the way. This was number 3 of today and a quick find following the GPS. All good at GZ. Signed the log and replaced as found with a bit more cover than before. Tftc
Time for another walk around Oamaru and some more caches today for us. After walking now for some time we were looking forward for a cold beer.

A scorching day today while in town. Perfect for a walk around the Cape to geocache. TFTC
By now, i too was a Fallen victim to hay fever. Grass was high and hint object was unable to be seen from track. A mountain biker whizzed past twice, our actions probably recorded on his go pro.
A little damp but still ok to write on. Is this the hill they’re talking about putting a zip line on? That would just seem so wrong
Weekend trip to Oamaru and Dunedin for the Pink Concert so doing some caching on the way. TFTH.
A Queen's Birthday Sunday outing to explore the Oamaru biking tracks. After a circuit of the Reservoir, a bike along the short rail trail, now Cape Wanbrow. A fairly fast find here.
Found during my trip in New Zealand.
Today, it's my 17th day of my trip.
My travel today will be Curio Bay - Nugget Point - Dunedin - Moeraki - Oamaru.
I woke up early to go to see the lighthouse at nugget point.
After during the morning, I'm visiting Dunedin.
After a stop at the Moeraki Boulders, I finally arrived at Oamaru.
Arrive here, I come to this lookout. Really nice views on the Oamaru city from here.
After that, I decided to hike until the beach where the pillow lava are.
On my way, I search and quickly found this cache.
Thanks for this cache and thanks for discovering this place !

Our day five we spend in Oamaru and experienced various highlights. Our walking on the Cape was very nice, the wether was fine and the caches were interesting. TFTC!
Last one on this track. A nice way to spend the afternoon.

Last time I was here I was at the OamaruGeofest. I had to come back to pick up our campervan. The clutch went on it not far out of Oamaru. The bonus is I get to go caching with my buddy Bbear44 again.

Back in town for the weekend to pick a Nosynel's campervan that died during the geofest. After getting it we decided to collect a few caches we didn't get time to do during the geofest. Lovely day today great views and lots of sun. Thanks so much for the smile.
Oh I have seen so many memorials to the fallen in the last couple of days I was expecting something different here. All smiles instead of gloom. TFTC.
After trying to access a cache on the old track we backtracked and headed up to this one. A great blast from the steampunk thingy heralded the find. TFTC # 11,172
Had a little rest here and yupeee sitting basically on the cache, really a great tour, thank you CO for a great a variable hides and containers, we really enjoy the walk
Great views over the town now the trees are gone. A nice quick find thanks.
A few showers off and on today as we head back up home to Christchurch.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Came here on a walk around some of these tracks this afternoon. A quick find in about the third place checked. Signed log, TFTC
great veiws from this walkway at different points .Cheers for bringing us up here.
Went on a big adventure with Wafflekitties and geo pups, had a blast thanks for the memories! TFTC.
Found while on a winter holiday with LCBuilder and our two geodogs. We spent 3 weeks travelling down the east coast and then up the west coast, setting our tent up at a different campsite each night. We didn't have any real plan, just went where the caches took us we saw a lot of awesome sights and will definitely have to come back one day as 3 weeks isn't really that long! TFTC!
Visiting Oamaru for a wee family 'long weekend' holiday. Heading out late morning for a walk around Graves track (which turned out to be closed!) so we popped up and parked on Test street and tackled the South Hill Track from there. Having completed the Pillow Lava Earthcache the family headed back to the car and moved it over to the Lookout whilst I followed the track around. Nice spot with a view. Cheers!
In town for the weekend to put a few smiles around the place. great place to rest the weiry legs tftc
on our visit in oamaru we also looked for some caches and found this one. thanks for showing the places, thanks for the cache and greetings from germany.
My main goal in this area was the earthcache, Second came the multi as I always think I am not doing enough of them.
Thus, it was obvious that it made sense to include all the traditional caches in my little hike. Most of them were easy finds, some of the a bit awkwardly hidden I must say... But there was also one very clever hide ('Gone but not forgotten') whch still ended up being a quick find as it hadn't been completely hidden. Sorry about the copy and paste logs but there are not so many different things I could write.
I am glad there were no mountain bikers today - that would have made it more hazardous fo rme.

A quick easy find in a landscape which has changed massively since we last visited. TFTC
Aahh! A nice fine day finally. Didn't think it was going to happen after such a long spell of grey drizzly days. A nice walk overlooking the harbour.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Wouw that was more as expected to climb. The weather is also not working....too hot hahaha Left a pathtag for next cacher
On a walk to the viewpoint and the blue -eyed penguins beach , we found this box .
Thanks from Switzerland
Thanks from Switzerland
Today we had to fix our car. So it was the wright day to go for a walk at the coast. On the way we found a lot of boxes, but sometimes we were not lucky. Thanks for all the hidden boxes
Needing to kill a couple of hours in Oamaru so what better than a spin out on the Cape which is certainly looking very different to the last time I cached out here. Very pleasant day in Oamaru for the time of year. Should have picked this up early in the walk but got near the end and realised that I had a printout for this cache but hadn't downloaded to the machine. Just as well I'm an analogue cacher and print cache pages off! TFTC.
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
Stayed in Oamaru for the night and went for an early morning walk, thanks for bringing me here and

This cache was one of 350 found on a short trip back to New Zealand, which was principally organised so that I could attend my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday.
I have a great time and enjoyed a great variety of caches, most of which were new (ie published in the past couple of years ).
Thanks for all the great caches.

Pretty obvious what sort of object would be helping to conceal this cache, given the cache name and what the area looks like now. I think it still took me a little bit of searching though before coming up trumps. TFTC
