Thanks PinkPiggy for a great series. Third outing to grab the southeast end, and am off to a good start.
Needing a traditional today for a challenge. Broke the drive home after flying in from Sydney having seen Pink at Accor last night. Nice easy find but had to wait for a muggle to pass.TFTC
Took the opportunity to grab a few more caches in the series after shopping at nearby Fountain GateOnly targeted the more easily found caches i.e. no recent dnf and those virtually clear of blackberry bushAll caches found in good conditionMany thanx to Pinkpiggy7
Finishing off this series today and it was nice and quiet, the rain held off even though heavy clouds were overhead. Now off to Spotlight for Christmas decorations,
I need to find caches in Casey on the 25th of the month for a couple of challenges I am working on. As I need to go to Spotlight anyway, this one fit the bill! Didn't take too long to find - just needed to look from the right angle.
Doing our final section of the Hallam Bypass Trail, enjoying the themed caches along the way. This was a quick find and log, with no muggles to spot me! TFTC Pinkpiggy7
Just because others couldnt find it doesnt mean its not there. I was at spotlight so a quick check, it was exactly where is should be.
No luck today even with 3 of us looking and expanding the search area! It's super over grown and lots of rubbish around so maybe missed it
On a trip to Melbourne to see dad in hospital but I couldn’t resist driving bynd searching for a geocache. Need stress relief, right?
Finally found it! funny how I always leave home hair done nicely and shortly after look like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards. Coords were taking me other side of fence and I was about to give up but one last look and there it was! Wahoo

What a miserable day to be outside… bring on spring! I caught up with Kristysadventures for an opportune stroll along this trail.
Having worked with the business that is the subject of this cache name, it was a face palm moment when I didn’t initially connect the two together in approaching GZ.
A quick find at GZ and we continued on our way.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

This one is an easy walk to from the carpark. The rest will need me to get bike fit for I think.

Our Easter long weekend holiday is over and today was the long drive back home to Melbourne. On the way, we stopped off at Fountain Gate for the Mrs to do some shopping. While she was at the shops, I and the kids decided to look for some caches around and this one was it. A short walk and a quick find, it was in our hands. Log was signed and then back to the shops to carry all the bags of shopping that the Mrs purchased!!

Seeing as it is the last day of my birthday month I took Mum out to San Churros for my free birthday churros. After a delicious and very filling sugar overload I sheepishly told Mum that I hadn't found a cache of the day yet. She sighed but ultimately decided she'd rather keep me company than have me traipsing around in the dark on my own. So we headed towards this cache and she parked in the nearby carpark while I ran out to collect this find. After making a quick find, we managed to scared each other as I ran back to the car while she was looking the other direction haha!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
This is my 3rd visit to Fountain Gate this December and while the girls did their shopping, I was working on this trail again. After finding this one at 1.45 pm, it leaves only 2 left in the series. Wow, pretty soon I might have to actually go into the shops with them.
Interesting that there is a Hole in fence almost at this GZ. Who is going into the freeway here. Felt like a FTF, signing the new log book.
Thanks for the cache Pink Piggy 7

To many people are finding our caches in breach of lockdown provisions, disabling until things are open again.
Our first find! Geokid was very excited and went through the fence - don't go through the fence, its not there!
Took me a bit to find but eventually did logbook is very waterlogged but still useable. Made a swap TFTC
Found on our Valentines Day out caching during #melblockdownV3.0 TFTC THIS WAS OUR 100TH CACHE. Log book water damaged. Needs replacing.
With a name like this, I wasn't sure if I was looking for a polka dot or leopard printed geocache but the big building behind gave it away!
This was a nice quick find in the afternoon sunshine between passing muggle cyclists.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache

Doing some shopping nearby and took the opportunity to grab this one. A nice quick find here, Tftc!

Out for a walk on a wet, cold and stormy afternoon where we decided to hit the trail along a concrete path rather the others we looked at which were on unmade tracks. We spend a few hours walking down and then back up to the car where we saw lots of fence, quite a few nice trees, a lot of poor graffiti (no art skills here, just tagging) and found all of the geocaches we were looking for. Thanks for this series and I hope that others will take the time to head out and walk the path for fun, entretainment, excersize and of course, geocaching.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this, quite lengthy series of geocaches which we found an enjoyable walk on a Sunday afternoon.

It's a beautiful warm afternoon so decided to go out with the geokids to pick up some easy caches along the Hallam Bypass Trail. Quick easy find. The little geokid was happy to see swaps available for trading. While he did his swap trades I signed the log.

An evening stroll with the boys - The Dark Magician and Yami Yugi (aka. Dynamo and The Blue Minion).
Oh, I do love their ever evolving identities!!
The trail was quiet aside from the traffic and some muggles salvaging boxes from the nearby dumpmasters.
We poked and prodded a few things, but not the ubiquitous undergarments we geocachers often stumble upon!
A rethink ensued.
Another search, a little more thorough...
And BAM!!
The boys and I had a very pleasant wander here today. Yami Yugi required piggybacks there and back. But I loved every minute of it. Time goes fast. One day, he'll be big enough to piggyback me! And I hope the boys can fondly look back on these special little adventures with Dad for years to come.
Thanks so much, PP7.
I want you to know that putting out a cache creates magic and seeds memories that last for years.
Don't worry about the countless 'quick finders'. Kids see magic everywhere, and seeing them find a cache which brings that excitement to the fore is priceless.
Thanks again.
All is well here.

Back today to pick up a few more smileys along the Hallam Bypass Trail. We cheated a little, driving as close as possible to each cache because of the heat. With no muggles around, it was a nice, relaxing find.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7. Now back to the air conditioned car and next cache.

In the interests of finishing 2018 without logs owing these logs will be somewhat generic, #sorry #notsorry #butkindofsorry.
Nearly three years ago Little Ruverbug and I, back near the beginning of our geocaching adventures put a call out on a social media geocaching site asking for recommendations for local trails of caches that were fun. A couple of people suggested PP7 Hallam Bypass Trail. So Little Ruverbug and I walked (she walked party and I pushed her in a pram part of the way) the western end. These caches were right at the end of our first 100 that we found.
Since then we've found another 600 including going to the centre of specifically for an event (and building a holiday around that).
Some of my all time faves have been PinkPiggy7 caches.
Thanks for placing and maintaining your ace caches PP7.
Maybe it's end of year nostalgia but you make caching in south east Melbourne fun.

Found at 1415 on a caching stroll with Muggle-L to work off Christmas lunch leftovers that looked like they'd be stretching well into the new year. We'd walked part of the Hallam Bypass trail on my last visit down south, and just like last time the weather was threatening to dampen our enthusiasm.
SirJ had found this stretch previously (well, except for this one as it turned out), so Muggle-L & I arranged to meet him at the far end, dropped her geomobile at a convenient location, and started down - or rather up - the path. A nice quick find my Muggle-L, while I considered the pros and cons of slipping through the overly-convenient hole in the fence.
Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7.

Find #4077. Found @ 16:46 with AmethystPig and Muggle-L
My self-appointed challenge for the year is to get 1000 finds for the year. To finish that challenge off, Muggle-L and AmethystPig came with me to find the few remaining caches... and a couple more. 1004 for the year.
This was the last of the day for me, but the first for the day for AmethystPig and Muggle-L. Since they'd already found this one, they stood back while I made the find after the walking muggle had walked past.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Found with AmerthystPig on caching run as we combine to meet SirJ-Oz. Found the cache while AP was searching just a little further down the trail
Just as cmkoe3 and I were about to sign the log, a young couple with a child in a pram appeared around the bend in the path. They were far enough away to not see what we were doing, so we pretended to walk toward Fountain Gate untill they were out of sight.

A bit of a back track to get to this one. When I started to search I noticed a bottle of Canadian Club & Dry lying on the ground - right next to the cache as it turned out - obviously the drinker didn't see the quite exposed cache.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7.

Find #4560
Had a rare spare weekday afternoon and decided to target a few caches on the Hallam Bypass Trail and nearby. Having picked up the numbers for a couple of multis at Fountain Gate I moved the car along to another retail park and headed off to look for this one. I have (quite some time ago) attempted the other caches in the series to the north and west of here so this was the next one on the list. A short walk down the path and I was soon in position to search for this one. Fortunately I looked from the right angle which made for a quick find. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series Pinkpiggy7.

Easy find. Fortunately no muggles hanging around the back of the stores so retrieved and replaced with ease. Tftc Pinkpiggy7
Found a bit exposed, so I put it a bit closer in its cover. I can't get over the mess earlier on the trail, some wonderful person has thrown raw meat about?! Watch out if you are walking dogs, some people like to bait these things.
Gathering a few local caches to fill a hole in the calendar. Found easy enough but then the foot traffic began. With muggle after muggle wandering along the path all of a sudden, it was time for a fake phone call to disguise my being stopped in the middle of no where. Once the coast cleared I quickly returned the cache as it was found and high tailed it back to the car. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKAms
Gps seemed a bit jumpy on this one with it putting me in the middle of the highway at one point. Hint: it is not in the middle of the highway.
It looked like a smal walk. But with my sore leg it was still very hard going it was a nice easy find thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7

Only took us a minute at most. Keep looking, this one's pretty easy. Thanks for the cache!
Mad rush to satisfy one obsession and ended up having time to run with this obsession.
Nice easy find while waiting for mrsbud17 spending the family fortune at spotlight. Collected tb Tftc
Yeah, I went to that gap first.
Don't think I was spotted by any shoppers while getting Spotty. I'm going to sell stickers at these shopping centres that say "I'd rather be caching."
Out and back along the Hallam Trail trying not Bypass any caches, I covered just under 19km along the enjoyable track. After recent difficulties doing suburban trails this was a very welcome layout, with few muggles along the trail and no awkward placements outside schools and next to playgrounds. Just 3 DNFs (which is a good stat for me). And a great and witty mix of containers kept the interest levels high all the way.
Thanks for the cache and series, Pinkpiggy7.

It appears this one has suffered a little cache creep..returned to original location which is not at the hole in the fence. Also replaced container with new log and swap
After road tripping to Sale the day before and not having sufficient time for an adequately long walk I decided that I ought to pop down to this series of caches after work for a decently long walk. Almost every cache was found and most were in good condition.
**PP7 you might like to shift this one a little to a better hide as I found the container without anything inside it. I used a piece of notebook paper but didn't have a waterproof bag to place it in. I rehid it against the base of a small tree at GZ.

Found after going shopping in spotlight. We can't believe we didn't see it when we were looking. Don't go through the hole in the fence. TFTC
Had the best intentions of doing this cache many times while shopping this area. Today finally attempted and found it. Easy find. Not much cover. sl - no swaps on board today so none made. Tftc
