The early cacher catches the centipede. Good camo. So much I think I knocked it out and saw it on the ground. TFTC
Driving past I thought I might give it a go. But after scratching around for a while I came up empty handed.
Well that was an unexpected trek through the bush.
Going past with the GPS on and noticed a nearby cache we hadn't previously found. Quickly stopped the car and off we went.
Thanks for the cache mizmaz, nice camo.

For whatever reason we have never attempted this one but fixed that with a successful attempt today. Approached from the south, navigating patches of mud on the trail which have conveniently placed pieces of timber in them to act as stepping stones.
Spent way too much time exploring around a place which was not GZ! Cache eventually spotted. Geokid refused to touch it!
On the way out we spotted a Kookaburra, see pic!
An amazing patch of bush. Thanks mizmaz, have a FP for bringing us to such a beautiful yet secret spot. Geokid says that 'it was a good explore'

Went to replace wet log today and found whole cache has upped and "walked off" with help (no chance of it having been "washed away" by itself). Will disable and hope I can find another camo the same or will have to make something different. Not sure how long this will take but may give the currently very muddy bush paths time to dry out a bit.
Day 4 visiting the area from Maitland on a wet long weekend of geocaching. Quick and easy find. Log saturated

What a beautiful place! Definitely coming back here to avenge this DNF. I found... Something. But have no idea if it's cache-related.
Spent a long time trying to find this one today. After reading past logs finding it with ease, leaving a DNF is a bit disappointing. We’ll be back!
A wonderful piece of bush land here that I never knew existed until today! It was swarming with bird life here, I counted 7 different bird species just on the way to the cache!
I understood the hint but I didn’t know how it would be used at gz until I stumbled on to that awesome cache container. Thank you for the cache!

I found this one on a lockdown hike near mine easy but was upset to find that water got in to it and the log was ruined
Thank you for this cache, mizmaz. We enjoyed a short, early morning walk through this lovely piece of bushland listening to numerous birds. The cache was quickly found thanks to very accurate coords. Thanks again mizmaz.
Great little rainforest environment. Can't believe I never knew this place was here.
My cousin found it and it was his first one. my brother thought it was a big poop
With social restrictions easing and reviewers agreeing it’s safe to start publishing new caches, I’m re-enabling this hide (subject to ongoing monitoring of the situation). As we get out in the field again, it’s up to all of us to stay covid free so please continue to take precautions while playing the game… for yourselves and others.
Despite warnings to stay home in a global health crisis, I’m amazed at those continuing to venture out and log finds, especially new account holders (evident by 10 or less smileys to unknown names). As a responsible CO, I am temporarily disabling all my hides (urban or remote and unloved) until “social exposure” guidelines are lifted. This is for the safety of the finders, those that follow you and those that think it is ok to venture out because someone else did. Any finds recorded before the cache is re-enabled will be deleted so your risk will have been for nothing. Thanks for understanding and stay safe!
Found today with swaggins ..no pen so he took pic ... i laughed when i found it
Tftc cheers

Very cool! Took some doing, we were about to give up but I happened to dig away some old bark and leaves and there it was. Thank you!
We have had a massive day out and about today exploring the wollongong area, having fun at the beach, enjoying a few events, eating good food and finding a few caches. It was late in the arvo and we were about to go to another event that we stopped near where we were staying for a rest, change, some food and one more cache. This one was a surprise. We were not expecting this parkland to be like a jungle, it was a great place to visit. This cache was very difficult for us to find and our GPSr settled on an area which looked promising. Dejected we moved along only for the geo wife to say, check there. And there it was, very well tucked away and about 8-9m from where our GPSr had wanted us today. Nice touch on the cache companion.
**Thanks to mizmaz for hiding this cache for us to find and enjoy**

Quick trip down the mountain after a day of completing the Lighthouse series. Such a beautiful spot. TFTC Mizmaz
Back in Australia for a quick trip home, took advantage of visiting a few of aunty Maz’s hides since I left to practice my skills a bit more. Co-ords not loaded in the gps I was using so relied on the CO to give subtle hints towards a cute hide that made me smile. Retrieved enclosed TB that was squashing the logbook.
Visiting Wollongong for the day I decided to grab a smiley before heading back...well maybe a few of them.
This cache is located in some very unexpected and beautiful forrest. I left a tb here for whoever comes next. Cache was a quick found quickly and in good condition. Live the container. Tftc

Back online with new container and log.
Please make sure camo is concealed when returning to it's hide.

Found with geotoddler! Log may need some love. No travel bug unfortunately. Tftc and a wonderful little walk through the "jungle"! Also this was a last minute cache. Didnt bring a pen (need some in the car for these moments.) Took a pic of the log instead.
Found with my son MasterHayden on our Father's Day weekend afternoon hunt. This is what weekend family caches are all about! With the leaf overhead our GPS was a little off...
After a few minutes a wry smile struck my face as I saw the container. Very clever, you'd never notice it as a muggle but you would as a cacher!
TFTC. Happy Father's Day to the Geodad's out there.

I was kinda expecting a nice open park of grass and maybe swings and stuff. Not sure why...I just did. Anyway, the app managed to stay on track and led me to the cache location with accuracy. Took a minute or two, as my eyes were not as accurate as the app. Cool container. TFTC
Great cache and clue!!! I love the guardian and the container!!! Tftc!! Cache find no. 55!!!
What a great park. I never knew this was here. Will have to come back and explore further. Container was missing its lid. TFTC
Holy crap ... what a walk ... glad I have someone to remember the way back (yea right). Great container. TFTC
With a point in the right direction I was off in search of this cache. Having read previous logs I was pretty keen to see what would be awaiting me. I arrived at GZ and started the hunt for the cache and to my horror I stumbled across a pair of eyes staring at me, after my heart settled I realised I’d met the keeper of the cache. Love the camo. Another interesting hide from my caching mentor
I wasnt sure how to approach this cache so I put my faith in c:geo and it parked me under 100 meters from GZ
I wasnt excpecting such lush bushland,I really enjoyed the stroll along the trail to GZ.Once arrived I honed in on my geosenses and soon found the cute little cache.
Muppet got me onto clearing my 50km radius,im now down to the last 20 or so caches, most of these are missing or have some kind of issue so today has been filled with DNFs,this hide is outside my radius but it was such a relief to find a cache and a good one too,A Fav
Thanks mizmaz for lifting my spirits, off to the next !!!

First cache in the Southern hemisphere for me. Visiting from Scotland and staying with family nearby. This was the closest cache so went for a walk to track it down. Was sort of expecting a more formal entrance to the park....and in fact walked right past one sign without noticing. Once I did get in....soon made it to GZ and found the cache. All in good order. T4TC
The early bird was a bit late today but none the less we found it and a muggle who just happened to be sitting around in the bush too!!! Lol. TFTC Mizmaz
My first one! Took a bit to find but thought it was great! "The early bird" is a great hint!
I was visiting the daughter who lives in the area and decided to go for a short walk to explore and pick up a local cache. This is a nice piece of bushland hidden away in the urban 'Gong. Thanks mizmaz for bring us here.
That took way longer than it should have!!! Lol!!! Don't you just hate it when u don't look close enough at your first instinct and wonder around for 20 minutes only to find the treasure there on closer inspection!!! Nice hide, lovely spot, even though we were puffing n sweaty on exit!!! 4for 4!!
More like a forest than a park. Located in the middle of an urban area with many types of plants and wild life.My GPSr faithfully guided me along the multitude of paths to GZ. A nice surprise when finding the cache. TNLN, SL. TFTC mizmaz.
Take care because on the way out I brushed a stinging nettle but only got slight discomfort.

Wow, what a Labyrinth of tracks in dense bush. Was found by a couple of dogs and could hear people sounding not too far away but didn't come across them until much later on my way back out. Could spend hours exploring this place. TFTC.
How lucky are we to live in the Illawarra with such beautiful hidden forest.. love the cache... Funny...[^]
I saw a yellow robin quite close where id removed some Madeira vine and Wondering jew.
The early bird gets the worm-on a tin in the fork of a Melaluka tree/paper bark. Is a large worm and a small mint tin.
Temporarily unavailable due to maintenance. Should be back within 24 hours when glue dries.
Final cache before dark. The cache holder needs some attention and the log very damp. TFTC
Jungle in the gong, it seemed that way at 4.30pm dark and eerie. Found the cache. TFTC
Grandson (4) and I enjoyed the trek through this forest. A real surprise considering I have lived in the area forever but never knew it was here. Little bloke particularly liked the cache guardian. TFTC.
Interesting find in a great location.
Lost my path out but good opportunity for a
More exercise.
Left a star to shine

Beautiful part of the Illawarra to discover. This one definately deserves a FAV point.
Did this one with Dad as we had an afternoon out caching. Loved the container and wished we had a piece of bush like this near us.
Thanks
Thanks
Headed out for a few afternoon caches. Unfortunately my strike rate wasnt too good but this is one the Rats and mini rats did manage to get.
Loved the container and a nice stroll through the bushland.
