I focused on a couple nearby spots to my calculated GZ. Looks as though garden has had a major overhaul and awaiting new plants. Lots bird life and a few wasps to be careful of.
Is it that time already [:o]
Time to head for camp for the night,
after a fun day of finding caches on the pushie
But there's always more time to chase a couple more caches
This one eluded me too !! [:o]
I know I was in the right place at the right time
But no cache found

Went to the heart and looked within the spikes to no avail. Its not there. Brought along geodaughter to confirm i was in the right spot. I was. Cache is definately missing.
Found it on a cloudy day would be nice to view the clockwork the sun is out.
Found the co-ords and he likely location, but unable to retrieve due to muggle activity. Save for another day.
Found it retrieved it signed it and replaced it. Solved this one a couple of months ago
but Muggle halted the search. Thanks jimmymaff FTC.

I arrived at 1pm and quickly had the coordinates. Unfortunately, there was a group of muggles feeding the birds right next to GZ , just as they move off a mother with two kids settled down on the grass. I figured they were in for the long haul, so I decided to go for a walk to the commons instead.
I returned at 3pm to find yet another group feeding the birds, so I took a seat on a near by picnic table to wait. After 10 minutes they move off towards the lake - finally, I had a chance to grab this without being seen!
Signed the soggy log and packed it all up ready to go back when there was a muggle onslaught! In the end I didn't get away until 4pm, good thing I had plenty of TIME. TNLN TFTC

Found while on a scenic roadtrip from Melbourne to Canberra with CT_ZA.
We enjoy multis, particularly the simpler ones like this that work well without devious number guesswork. The park was busy but it was still an easy retrieval.
Thanks, Jimmymaff.

This is a really interesting spot and we enjoyed telling the time and making our calculations.Well done and thanks Jimmymaff.
Today we explored Sale and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few on the way and this was one of them. An interesting time piece and a straight forward multi.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Second week in a row down in Sale with geosister taking nephew to cadets. Last week was just to get the required information for a number of multis I have yet to attempt in this area. This week we attempted to find. The local birdlife took a lot of interest in what we were doing, one obviously though I was going to feed it. Luckily they soon lost interest and we soon had the cache.
Thanks Jimmymaff.
Thanks Jimmymaff.
After attending a conference in Canberra I was returning home to Melbourne via the slow scenic coastal route rather than driving along the boring Hume Highway. I stopped in Sale for the night and decided to look for a few caches this morning before heading home.
This looked like a reasonably easy multi to do before heading home. I haven't worn a watch since I retired a couple of years ago but I managed to work out the required numbers and calculate the cache co-ords. I put the co-ords in my GPSr and walked the short distance to GZ. I'm not sure whether it was because it was a weekday or the time of day but I was very lucky that there weren't any muggles near GZ so I found the cache quickly and signed the log at 1:00 pm. I took a small pink hat and left a frog to be with the others here.
My 1000 and 100 cache finds geocoins had a visit to celebrate my 1400th cache find.
Thanks Jimmymaff for the fun multi and the good hide. Also thanks for bringing me back to this picturesque lake which I always like walking around when I visit Sale. The timepiece seemed to be reading correctly in today's sunshine. [^]
Geochild did the sums and found the cache. Loved the walked around the lake. Thanks. Silkyie
We found time to complete this cache after attending a nearby event cache.
Having walked around this area on several occasions, we were surprised to find this structure. It is very interesting however today was a little overcast to try to use it as intended.
We quickly had the coordinates in hand and then only had to dodge the numerous muggles and local bird life to make a find. I weeded a section of a nearby garden as a distraction from my intended activity until the coast was clear.
TNLNSL Thanks Jimmymaff for this excellent little multi.

There were some muggles near by so we took heaps of photos and played around till the cache was signed and replaced. Tftc

Nice easy find in a beautiful location.
Sale is fortunate to have this wonderful lakes facility.
Was a perfect morning. Lake Guthridge all glassy. I just want to get my ski boat on it and have a ski!
Thanks GBs.

Found it with geopup before dog obedience on a beautiful Sunday morning. Those geese are pretty fierce though so don't take them on!
Surprise find with hughes family caching. Adopted a little army man and left a poker chip
Quick calculation had this cache in hand prior to my early morning walk
Love this park. Bird life doing a great job of guarding access to the time piece!
Cache found in good condition
Many thanx to Jimmymaff

In the area for a couple of days working in Maffra, with time to grab the odd cache or two.
Great cache, great location, nice quick solve and grab. Great park, what a magic place to walk, run or just sit and watch the world go by.
Thanks for bringing me to this place and for placing this cache Jimmymaff

Double checked co-ords and scouted around the area. Hint didn't make sense to me either. Geoteens x2 enjoyed playing on the new exercise equipment.
Finally got around to finishing off this one, worked out the first part some time ago but too many muggles about to search so put it off until a quieter day TNLN TFTC
It was a lovely winter day here today, so the clock was operational. A quick solution to the puzzle was found and not too long after so was the cache.
Wet feet wet feet wet feet!!! Why do I go buy new (very girly) shoes, put them on, then decide caching in the dark is a good idea??? Haha, oh well this definitely isn't the first time, I'm sure it's far from the last too..! Lucky for us we had the cover of darkness, two trusty torches, and muggles who conveniently wore bright flashing lights so we could see them coming.
Made the quick calculations and off to GZ. We wondered about the peculiar cache contents when we found it though!!!! Thanks Jimmy but we drink draughties. Oh hangon, no log book. This must be someone's stash (photo included) Didn't know whether to Cache In Grog Out, but figured whosever it was will probably come back looking, so we put it back.
Found the real cache! Ahh, that's better, there's a log in this one. Quickly signed and sloshed our way back to the car. TFTC jimmy!

Whilst planning a trip back to Sale for lunch and caching, I realised I forgot to log this one on 7/7/14 when I found it! This cache was made tricky by a motorcycling muggle who insisted on sitting right near us, puffing smoke all over us and our geobabies whilst we figured out how to tell the time. TFTC Jimmymaff!
Was so excited to learn about this clock and glad to have a sunny day to prove that it really works! Nice quick find to add to the list too despite the slightly creepy biker dude standing nearby. TFTC
Back to get this one this morning, in the cold. After working out exactly where it was hidden a few days ago, this was easy.
Thanks for an interesting cache Jimmymaff

There are problems with doing a cache like this on a Sunny Sunday in winter. Muggles galore!!! We know where it's hidden, and will be back to finish when the weather is less delightful

We arrive at the posted location.
we were able to park right in front of the timepiece.
We got the required information.
After SQAU do the sums we got out of the car & when to ground zero.
We waited for a few walkers to walk by and grabbed the cache.
Walk a few steps away to sign the log, and wait for more walkers.
Then a car pulled up, the couple got out with red roster meal and sat at the near by table.
Damn, we return to the car to get out of the wind and wait for the couple to move on.
then 4 more cars turned up.
In the end I pretended to pose for a picture while stealthy putting the cache back.
Found mid afternoon.
Time was not on our side for this cache.

I was back in Sale today for work and the Job was put off until later.
So I went and found this cache whilst waiting for it to start.
Luckily I had done all the sums at home and Google Earth had shown me where to look as I didn't have my GPSr with me.
After a quick search I soon located the cache and the log was signed.
"Scrat" visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

As always, this one was published when one of us was out of town. We were sure that we would not get FTF, but we did! We pulled up as it was almost dark, hoping that GZ wasn't too far away. We did the math and found it! Thanks for this one Jimmy.
