Can confirm, cache is still here. Part time caching kid and I came to the park for a play and checked in on the cache. It is in place.
I rode to this cute park with the kids. While they played I wandered over to GZ, where I found the container! It had sunk into the dirt, so was a bit muddy but is otherwise fine.
Hi all, we had ran out of the type of container we used for this one, so we're looking into ordering more or finding an alternative hiding method at the moment. We hope to have this one back up and running in the next three weeks!
The logs would suggest the cache might have gone missing. Unfortunately, I currently don't have any replacements of the type that was placed here, so until I can get my hands on some more, this one will have to be taken out of play.
Peeved. :-\ only a short time avail and can't find it. Checked obvious spots, hint, even wrote to CO but it is Boxing Day, after all so no joy. GPS way out of whack in this park and I kept getting 12m then it'd go down to 10m then back to 12 then.16 then 9 then 1 all in 4 paces. Oh well, a blue face for me it is now... darn and drats!
The hint makes so much sense now! Flubs whilst waiting for daughter to compete at FPS Nationals at nearby Knox. Betty lovely little historical park and a great leg stretch. TFTC TNLNSL.
Wow! Such a cute cache. This is our second go on this but this time we actually looked at the hint. Definitely doing a tap dance now!
Last cache for the day and I'm grateful for a quick and easy find. Gorgeous little park that is certainly unexpected from the street. TFTC!
Giving a mate a lift home and luckily he's willing to indulge my caching habit.
We stumbled through the park by mobile phone torch light and found our way to the gz.
The search was a little stifled by the lack of light, and it was my pre-cacher mate who made the find.
The log was completely full, so I added a scrap of paper. Unfortunately this made it almost impossible to close, a new purpose made log may be required in the near future.

Thank you geojo32 for this neat cache and also for the nostalgia trip. This is the part of Sydney I grew up in, went to school in and generally misspent my formative years in... (no charges were ever laid, you understand... )
I did a runner after uni, and only recently returned. I now live at the other end of town and this is really almost my first trip back. Lots of greenery, and camellias. And of course the Statute of Limitations.
I was up to W in my alphabetical Sydney suburbs challenge.

Found this one in the dark. The logs suggested that the cache was tiny, but wow... I held the torch in my mouth for light and signed the log as small as I could. There isn't much room left. Thanks for bringing me to a park I never knew existed despite driving past it every day to work. Fantastic.
Hidden gem of a park. Loved the bamboo hedge. Had more trouble finding the park than locating the hide. Log will need replacing after next 3 finds.

With a bus drivers strike in the Inner West today I decided to avoid the area and rely on trains for my caching adventure.
I had selected two multis and a mystery cache around Hornsby. I failed at one of the multis so decided to collect a few more caches near the train stations on the way home.
This really is a secret park and a very beautiful one at that!

On a quick visit to Sydney ad this a quick find. What a beautiful little park TFTC geojo32
Talk about tiny! You need micro fingers to write on the log "sheet" - I only barely managed it. I should have picked a bigger cache for for my first hunt (but I only had about half an hour while my daughter had a singing rehearsal across the road at Knox). However, the park is certainly a nice find; a cute little reprieve from the busy, hustle & bustle of the Pacific Highway.
And I agree with one of the previous loggers - the hint was very helpful...once I stopped to think about it long enough.

It really is quite secret, and very well maintained as well. I guess there are thousands of retirees up here on the North Shore who all love getting into the garden. The Practical philosophy people were having an open day next door, but I skipped it despite the estate looking interesting.
Indeed a secret Park with an interesting history! Well kept, great bamboo and red brick moongate! TFTC

After a visit to Turramurra shops I drove back to West Pymble via Fox Valley Road, so I could also pick up three caches along that road.
For the first cache I had to walk back to the Pacific Highway toward the entrance of this secret park.
The park itself was deserted and I had no problem to find the cache.
Thanks for the cache geojo32!

Found it. The smallest cache I have seen so far. I put a new paper in but what to do with the old one that is full up?
Today I am on my way north to Gosford.
But I just had to make a little detour to pick up a few caches.
A bit of a search here before the GPSr settled down and I made the find.
Thanks for the cache.

Found on this lovely winters day. But log is full! TFTC. Elphin on holidays in Sydney.
This was the day when we, after two previously unsuccessful attempts, finally could log this cache as found. Having said that, it was almost impossible to sign the log strip since it is completely full and need an urgent replacement.
Found it with Snoopy1976, Contactpete and Spy79 on a caching afternoon. our 4th for the day. TFTC
Lovely little park. Hidden so well. Had a search. Was found after a few minutes. Tftc!
After spending the morning with our. Other crew in the Crossfit community, I received the call that would ultimately have us still enjoying ourselves till the wee hours Monday morning.
A great way to spend the long weekend.
Found my mel.
Nice little park there.

This is certainly an interesting park, hidden as it is behind a big fence in between the surrounding mansions and with seemingly only one way in or out. After wandering up to the park from the closest available parking in Fox Valley Rd, Mumma-Kel and I had no problem making the find ... signing the log was more difficult though and as the previous finder had said the log was full, we didn't bother going to the effort of extracting the tight fitting roll from the nano ... we simply inscribed our initials onto the side of the roll.
Thanks for bringing us to this secret, but very attractive park geojo and for the smiley too.

This cache has bothered me for a while - there it sits on the highway home, taunting me everytime. I'd looked before and realised this one needed to vbe accessed via the gate out front and had no access paths thru the neighbourhood behind, but never had the moment to stop (legally) and make the find.
So while out on a georun with Opa-shrek today and headed in the right direction, I made sure we pulled up short of the highway. A short walk later and the cache was quickly found thanks to an empty park and a good clue... We didn't even need the devices.
Thanks for the find - I'll smile everytime I pass by now relishing in this smiley

Took a while but after sitting down and reflecting for a while, the hint suddenly made sense. Searched and had it moments later.
Lovely park. Lots of muggles today but they didn't care. Log book is full.
Thanks for the cache!

I suspected I know what had happened with the DNF's and was right. Fortunate to find it rolling around in the leaves - signed and re-attached.
What a funny little hidden park!
Worthy of a cache to point it out, (why I like caching) well done!!

Visiting from Melbourne and staying with Scotttiew my best cacheing buddy..this hide needed to be attempted even with DNFs logged.. So after a brief search braving leaf litter habitat I was about to give up but as I should of known Scotttiew now living in this town was onto it and the so called missing cache was found and signed......TFTC h
I've already found this cache on a previous visit. Geotooter had looked and couldn't locate the cache so asked me to have another look as I was passing by. I searched around my previous GZ and widened the area but failed to locate the cache. It might be a good idea for the CO to check on the current status of this hide.
A bit new at this so might just be that we didn't know what we were looking for!. Thunder stopped hunt but park was great and TFT fun. Will have another go soon.
Bit puzzled on how to get here. It looked like it was part of the grounds of the School of Philosophy. Kept walking and found the gate. From there it was an easy find.
Nice quick & easy find in this very quaint little park after taking a school chapel nearby. TFTC

On our way home from caching in Turramurra when GeoSon reminded us about a cache near the corner of Fox Valley Rd. A brief stroll along the highway and we found the entrance to this secret park. How many times have I driven past here without any knowledge of this park? The description made it a quick find. Of course geoSon was rewarded with a play on the equipment - for which he is getting far too old. Thanks for bringing us here.

I knocked this one over after finishing the nearby multi "The Battle for Hastings". I thought I needed to walk around the block and enter via a backstreet but I was wrong. I ended up on private property instead. I made my way back around and found the obvious entrance on the highway. I saw that it was a magnetic nano, which usually get me in a bad mood, so I checked the hint before coming into the park. I wish I didn't because I kind of ruined it for myself. It was a quick find and I sat down and ate some lunch and took in the atmosphere. I am really glad I came here, it's such a nice park. TFTC!
Tftc, after my previous dnf I saw someone had found it recently so headed back. It was where I looked before but must have just missed it!
What a great hidden park! Loved the architecture next door too. Thanks for the cache, and for the hint, which certainly helped.
Couldn't find the cache today so moved on to a nearby one. Checked all relevant surfaces at GZ, especially related to the clue. Not sure if the cache has been muggled.
Great long narrow park, with no muggles about to hinder, but still a quick find, thanks geojo32
A return to Turramurra after finding some nice caches yesterday. We parked by Turramurra station and walked up to here. This park is such a nice surprise - partly for its location and partly for the effort by the Council to preserve the curtilage (new word for the week!). We read the history and headed to GZ. Wow, that moon gate is so different and quite lovely; matches the round chimneys. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
We were heading home from Sydney in heavy traffic and the storm that had just passed meant the park was empty. I made sure MrsFish came with me, she is better at finding these types of caches. While I managed the GPS she pounced straight onto it. Thanks to geojo32 for a good hide, this is a very nice park and it was interesting reading about its history.
Back to avenge my DNF and it was the first thing I touched this time. Surprised to find an empty log - almost felt like an FTF. While I was sitting doing the paperwork, a Mum and daughter came to play in the bushes right at GZ. I checked emails, they finished and moved off, I replaced as found. Thanks geojo32.
Indeed, it had been muggled. But now the cache is back up and running. This is the end of my temporary leave from caching.
The good thing is that I learnt a new word for crosswords and scrabble. Checked what I thought was the right spot and confirmed it with a previous finder. Needs a check, I'd say.
Another one we tried but, like the two previous seekers, no luck. Looks like it's been muggled.
I drove over and thought I was heading to the secret park. Turns out I wandered into private property. After a walk through, I jumped a fence and THEN found the secret park. DOH! Got to GZ, checked a place, then moved on and turns out I needed to go back to that same place. Found the cache soon after. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Cache #828
Parked in Myall St and walked back to the park.
Couldn't find anything at 0m but hunted around for something that matched the hint. At first I couldn't see anything but a cute little dog on the other side of the fence was keen to see what I was doing so I went to say hello and that's how I spotted the cache. He must have known it was there.
He didn't make any noise but a rooster was crowing nearby and I don't think it was the one in the park.
TFTC - I needed one for this date.

I actually headed this way to try to grab the First to Find when it was published, but that was gone before I could get there.
Finally back nearby, and thought I'd have a look for it at last.
Parked in Fox Valley way and walked around to the entrance.
Nice park, and an interesting history.
Found the cache pretty much straight away, despite a nosy dog on the other side of the fence. Just wanted to say "Hello" I think. It didn't bark.
Completed signing duties and continued on. Might be able to grab one or two more before visiting my mother.

I never knew this park was here. I will drive past refreshed for its preservation. TFTC
Stopped off on the way to the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Dural, to pick up this one. A very nice little park and totally deserted on this early Sunday morning. 2nd find for the day. TFTC.
This park was definitely a secret. Geocaching taking me to new to places again TFTC!!!
Yes, the cache container had gone missing. The cache has been replaced with a new log.
It is all ready for the next finder...
It is all ready for the next finder...
Have spoken to 2 previous finders who both told me where I was looking and what I was looking for was correct - appears to have been muggled.
No luck for us today. Found the area that corresponded with the clue but couldn't find the cache. Our 17th attempt today, first DNF. The spectator was no help!
Searched according to the coords without luck. Then seached according to the clue, still no cache to find.
Parked in Myall for what should have been a quick and easy grab, but for the life of me I couldn't find it! Checked out all the items that the hint seemed to refer to, even the metal fences behind. AAAAARGH!!! Left gnashing teeth in frustration. Will come back when someone else reports a find!

I should have read the description! I ended up doing a circuit of all the back lanes and walkways before I eventually found the park entrance, grrrrrrrrr! A quick find in the end..
Found with morry9 and the geo-pup Squizzy at 5:11 PM. Thanks For The Cache geojo32.
