I refuse to climb some rusty, dodgy pipes to get this cache. Look, I could be wrong in my guess but 3 people and 2 police officers couldn’t find this cache!
Up early this morning and keen to get in a couple of caches before the event. I had made a small list for today. It was going to be a long and distance covering day as I had made plans to meet up in Toowoomba for Saturday afternoon. So it is Southport to tweed heads to Ipswich to Toowoomba and caches in between.
Working my way to my next event, it seems I was running very early. As I was passing, I saw this one and thought I could duck into the parking area and go for a walk around. I noticed something different to the others in the area and thought is it? Sure enough it was, nice easy quick find and took up no time.
I signed the log, replaced the cache as found and then continued on to the next one in the area. Thanks for placing it here, all good with this one.

walked past it 10 times last night and even pointed it out but didn’t think to look

A quick one for me today but only because I read the details in the description. My compass still said 9metres to go under. All is good here on a rainy day
Bruh. That was more difficult that I thought it would be but found it nonetheless. Thanks sebbles for the challenges
Thank you sebbles for the challenge, and the numerous hints , really interesting cache
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
For this afternoon’s geo-adventures I teamed up with joojoo57 to make some finds around Robina. My second attempt at this one and today I was successful.

My second go at this one. Last time it was raining, so I wasn't inclined to search for too long.
Once I got home, I decided that a certain item that I'd touched but not investigated could be what I was looking for. So back I went today, and sure enough there it was! As a previous logger indicated: as a pancake. Have seen another like this recently. Very sneaky. TFTC.

Took a couple of minutes longer than it should have. Perspective is everything. TFTC
been MIA for a while plan on fixing this one. it shall be back to its original glory soon
This weekend, I am staying down in the Gold Coast at Broadbeach celebrating a bucks weekend. Today, with those festivities over, it was a chance for me to explore some of the areas around the Gold Coast. I made my way north through Main Beach initially, and then had a jog around The Spit. It was a sunny day, and the beaches had drawn a fair amount of people. After then having lunch at Robina, I returned back north, and explored a few areas around Carrara, Ashmore, and Molendinar. As light faded, I made the decision to head home back to Brisbane.
I had a DNF here many years ago on 25/12/2016 whilst staying with jesswrigley's family nearby, and went for an afternoon run. That was back when I was still a newbie at geocaching, and hence less familiar with hide types like this one was. I remember thinking some rather random and obscure thoughts about this cache, and I had even contemplated walking along the pipeline, like Mario would do whilst finding hidden worlds. I also hadn't realised the connection to the terrain rating.
So back again today, and parking nearby, I returned back to GZ, and refreshed my memory. However today it was quite the different story, making the cache find reasonably quickly.
The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I do think that the cache size is more "Other" than micro sized however. Thanks sebbles for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I couldn't find this one or see where it could be (that would be possible to get). Any more hints would be nice.
Looked at the cache about a million times and didn't even check thinking "that's definitely not it".. but it was
Great cache, I absolutely love these but unfortunately I cannot sign. Logbook is just a wet paste.
I'd suggest maybe ziplock bag and then place cache?

After 4 years away from the game my eyes might not yet be in it. I will be back to try again on my next visit to the GC
Good one finally 3rd time lucky for this one for me log is in need of maintenance wet and saturated like so many other comments maybe a small thin zip lock bag for protection when you replace it I think the cache could manage the bag
Ninth find out with the team of Giraffe 18 MissBeauty and AndieMoo. Clever. Very clever. Luckily the team was familiar and on fire.
Had a second glance. But yes a good find. Out with PirateLinda and AndieMoo and MissBeauty. Number 9 for the day.
Out and about with Mornington - and then we spotted it. Watch out for the cyclists!

Feeling our way back into 'field work' after my recent hip replacement & we decided an afternoon down the Goldie would be a nice distraction.
#6 of 11 found today.
Must admit to a few minutes staring at concrete & steel until the penny dropped!
Then the theme 'kicked in' & I spotted something quite familiar as we have found several of this type scattered far and wide.
Great concept with the naming & placement! LOL ...
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Really good Camo on this cache and I walked past it many, many times. Good eye from my accomplice to spot this one. TFTC I think Mario would be proud.
Found quickly. Have seen this style online, but first actual find of this particular style. CO should check soon regarding a dry log
After climbing in the rain (what probably others have tried before due to some tape) I put my thinking cap on and found this little guy. Thank you no climbing on the rails required haha
Next, stortigirls and I made our way to this one. Finding somewhere to park the geomobile was easy. We then strolled to GZ, while stortigirls explained the significance of the cache name. I have never played any of the Mario games. At GZ, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
I was a big mario fan growing up. I played like a demon on my gameboy and SNES. I have also been known to borrow my teenagers old Nintendo DS to relive my youth. So today I smiled when I saw the pipe at gz, and was happy to see only a frilly lizard and not a carnivorous flower pot. The cache was a quick find, before moving on to the next one. Tftc sebbles
Out for a morning run while I am staying in Broadbeach. 3 DNFs and 6 finds.
I have seen plenty of these before so this one was a quick grab.... good hide, no muggle would ever know

Pulled in for a McMermaid Waters coffee and found we'd unknowingly parked in the closest spot to this cache. Along with MrsG being onto it like a narcotics sniffer dog and the lovely winter's day, this was one of the best placed hides for this type of cache. A great cache to find as we leave the GC. Tftc. Only found this thanks to HarryBUTLERFAN. I don't even know how to classify the size of this cache. Definitely not a micro. Never seen a cache like this before. Flattest cache ever. Couldn't sign it as it was too wet!
This, my 3rd attempt; finally got it!! Log isnt damp; its saturated. Tricky but I recall a similar one on Bribie Island. Cache itself is a micro but nut so much the container
The goal for today was to try and find a few geocaches around the Gold Coast in order to claim my 1000th find! This incredible geocache was on the list and let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed! This style has a great camouflage and I loved it! TFTC! All was well with this geocache.
Wow! Up in sunny qld with the fam for a holiday. Geodaughter and I finally get a chance to hunt some caches. This one nearly got us! We spent a good 15 mins searching and we were quickly losing hope. A last second thought made us look back and check it! I've never seen a cache like this before! Pretty clever! It's very wet and my pen didn't really work.... just tore the paper
Thanks for the awesome cache! I was secretly hoping for a brick full of gold coins though

Defeated us the first time a few weeks ago, so had another look today. Not so difficult once it clicks in your mind, not really a micro, which tends to channel your thinking, more of another type.
Maybe I am still half asleep but I could not aee that cache to start with. Knew I had to sight it before going to GZ but it was there all the time larger than life. Log signed and replaced again. Found at 6.25pm on 1.10.2017. TFTC.
Gold Coast Day 3
Took a drive today at the back of Surfers. A variety of hides found & locations visited.
We returned via the very busy beach side.
Parked not far from the golden arches, I took the high road & hubby went another it was he who found it.
Thanks for placing this cache sebbles

I parked close by in the shopping centre and took the stroll past the area and soon spotted the cache and had to then work out the easiest route to get to it.

Visiting Queensland for the week and picking up some East Coast smilies. Just about gave up but spotted it in the way back to the car. Luckily I've seen this camo before otherwise I would have had no chance. Tftc.
I found this the second time around. I would say that the geocache is not micro though and would be classed as "other". Great hide though, it really blends in.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Looked around for 10 minutes along the pathway under the bridge but no luck And given it is only a **T1.5 Hide**, I dismissed the 10-foot high ledge as a hiding location... So no idea?
Up this way for family holidays and decided to grab a few caches with Moosetash and Happy Feet, we had just ordered our morning coffee and decided to grab a close by cache and this one was quickly located after a short search, thanks sables for the hide.
Up grabbing a few early morning caches before too many muggles. After ordering coffee, wandered over to make this quick find.
Thanks sebbles for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

I had been out for a ride at Nerang and I was slowly heading to Varsity Lakes for an event this afternoon finding a few caches (or not) along the way.
Maybe caching after a big ride is not a good idea because I really struggled with them.
Opted for the shopping centre parking. Nice and near and safe too.
A nice quick find here and it was nice to see the relevance of the cache name.
Nice view of the Coast from here.
