This was a nice morale boost as we have been unsuccessful in a few recent searches. Thanks
With dot558 and mitzi123556On way back to berwick Stopped for a coffee and a quick find after get a clue from prev logsThanks fir the day filled the morning in great
Sadly, following the hint and looking around for 40 minutes could not uncover its location...plus a visit from the PoPo was not expected. We we will need to come back and take another look around in the day think I think!
We got here around 3 15 which was probably lucky because it looks like it gets pretty busy here at school time for pick up, it was just starting to get busy as Nyochi ducked into the bushes for the find. TNLN TFTC!!
Out to do some caches with beckgiz to wrack ip the numbers and try out the new truck :3
Found quickly before the school rush!

Out for a bit of geocaching today .. Upper Beac seemed like a good idea. There are still a few caches in the area I am yet to claim… looks like mainly Pinkpiggy7’s caches today .. I appreciate all the effort you put into adding to out geocaching experience Pinkpiggy7 .. when I arrived it was playtime for the school kids .. I was surprised to see a couple right over on the far side of the footy ground .. .. I tried another entrance which proved a petter approach to make the find.
Found on a quick side trip past the BMX Track. Watch out for bull ants and snakes, the grass is getting a bit overgrown at this time of year.
Found my first cache, forgot a pen but will be back to sign it!
Also found a huge hole in it so it may need to be looked into. Thanks for the cache

Another Reserve in the area. Approached GZ and found the cache a little exposed, but intact.
However the base of the container has a hole in it which could allow water to enter.
Anyway the log was only damp and I made the sign ok.
Now back safe .
Thanks

The container was open on the ground and log paper was in a bush nearby. The container and paper were drenched from the rain.
A nice and easy find before my 9yo’s game of footy in south Belgrave, then the joy of meeting my new niece. tftc
No sport on today so this was a easy one to get to. Quick find. Our cache #2100.

Despite it being a beautifully clear day today, my GPS had me spinning in circles - so I gave up on that and just had a good ole look around. Found it! Thank you!
To many people are finding our caches in breach of lockdown provisions, disabling until things are open again.

Out caching in the cardinia reservoir area today with Brainiac03. With the main target being the Reservoir itself and as many multi caches as we can grab along the way.
With no major issues during the rather successful day we managed to have a rather productive day. Thanks for the cache.

Today, buhfuhguh and I were out on another caching run, this time in the Upper Beaconsfield/Emerald region with a focus on passing by Cardinia Reservoir before the weather started to heat up and our battle plan was forced to change.
A very hot day for geocaching but still a lot of fun (and nothing that the Astra's air con couldn't handle) filled with plenty of fantastic finds along the way!
Not a lot of muggles about this morning and, after passing a rather dilapidated bench, we reached gz where the cache was found in the obvious spot.
I signed the log and put everything back before the jumping jacks buhfuhguh spotted on the tree could figure out we were there.
Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for this placement!

Cache found nice easy one for the kids. Treasure taken and treasure left. Thanks for the cache.
Not sure why the user log a needs maintenance there were still 12 blank pages in the book, please consider that CO's need to take time to maintain caches, and inconsiderate needs maintenance logs just don't help. As I had taken a new one, I replaced the log book anyhow.
Upper Beaconsfield or Beaconsfield Upper?
An old argument in our household.
Nothing for it but a name change to Upper Beaconsfield Upper.
Keeps everyone happy.

As usual it seems when I am caching out in these parts it’s an early start and as many caches as I can find before I need to head off to other more mundane tasks. After a couple of finds nearby I headed on to this one as my next target. There were a few more people around this spot (some workers on the oval nearby) and some early morning school traffic. Fortunately the GPS took me to an out of the way spot and I was able to find this one without too much trouble. My third find of twelve on a pleasant morning to be out this way. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7.
So ive FINALLY dropped the cork.
Cork has been a visitor in my home for far too long.
He is on the hunt for wine.
And as im not a serious drinker i rarely find myself at a cellar door.
So this week i made a goal to send cork packing.
You see i try to be a good host but if i hear cork whine one more time about how parched he is... Well you can guess!
So i google searched wineries near me and....
I had no idea there would be one so close!!!
And so pretty!!!
Cause that's what matter right???
That a winery is pretty!
So long cork... may all ur grapes be wine.
Salute
Thank you for bringing us to such a beautiful spot with a winery so close.

Out and about with geo son pimpmyballoons. He had a 1st birthday gig in the local hall so I joined him to check out the area. WHOW what a beautiful part of the world and the facilities are amazing. Parked and braved the wintery weather to make the easy find. Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7
Found your cache today. Later in the afternoon went there and suddenly change the weather oh well Pinkpiggy7, thank you so much for placing it.
After a rather awful rainy morning, I was chomping at the bit to get out and do some caching. I parked nearby and was suprised to see a cricket game in full swing. I was a little worried that I might be a bit obvious with my searching, but it was far enough away for them not to bother about me. Quick find in the end. TFTC
Catching up on logs again. This was a nice quick easy cache to pickup. Always appreciate the cache and was a nice drive in the area.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7

Out and about last Tuesday with Trailstevo and whilst staring at the map I spied a little walk (with some suggested hills) and a few local drivebys that needed some attention. Off we trott on the warm evening and on arrival realising that I had been here before, which I soon realised why. We completed our circuit, collected the clues and picked up the mystery cache. Then off to some country roads for the other quick finds but we did decide to leave one which had a dog nearby and as it was late we didn’t want to concern any neighbours. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 and SmokeyBear for the fun and adventure, think we scrapped through double figures which is not bad for a Tuesday night!
Out with Gunks for the first serious night of caching. Did a loop around for 5 caches then a bunch of drive bys. Nice night for caching. Decent walk early. TFTC
Cache check while mowing the playground area. All ok. But please recover the cache... took tb
I agree, Upper Beac does need more caches Mot wanting to drive far after accidentally ending up on the wrong side of the road a few times yesterday, I thought this would be a good cache for today. So in thermals, a snow jacket and a beanie, I braved the 24m from where I parked my car. Never have I been so glad to find a cache in plain sight. I stamped the log and covered the cache up, I wouldn’t want to allow the next finder the quick rain find I was graced with! TFTC Pinkpiggy7

Almost done for the day, lots of muggles around picking up children from school. We were nicely out of sight for this quick find. Thanks
cache check after the last log, all ok, thanks for returning as it should have been
Found it, it was open and log had fallen out. Nothing was on top to hide cache either. Lucky the log wasn't wet.
Found it. Who knew there was such a nice oval behind the school, complete with cool playground and cricket nets.

We WERE going to make this the last for the day, but there were two more that we figuratively fell over on our way home (not yours though) - so thanks for this one - I think it was the 10th find for the day.
All in good order I believe.
