Needs a new log but didn't have one on us at the time

#7716Day 1 of road trip to Camerons Corner. A quick stop here to stretch the legs and add a smiley to the mapTFTC Steam koala

On my way to an event in Braxton in the rain and thought I try and grab this cache as it was on the way. I followed some hints from other logs but I have had no luck! Felt every where in reach of where I was. I have a feeling it could be missing.

After DNFing I realised there was a section I had missed and it just happened that the cache was there! Luckily for me not too many people were around to see me awkwardly get up to reach for it. So the cache isnt missing but the log needs replacing. TFTC

Opened my account for August with a quick stop on the way from Newcastle to Cessnock. Not quite the drive by I was expecting but not too hard. Thanks.

Stopped at the rest stop on the way home and decided to find a cache too. Once we were in the right spot we managed to find the cache pretty easily after some looking around. Managed to stay dry with some rain around as well.

A good opportunity to stop and stretch our legs. Cache quickly found by Deefa71. Greetings from Perth. Tftc

Great Cache! Climbing needed..

We pulled over to have a break and some morning tea. As we often do when stop, we had a look to see if there were any caches nearby and we saw this one. We took a short wander and MrsW stepped up and made the find. All good here.

Day two of the drive from Brisbane to Sydney in a truck. Survived the day and found some caches on the way. Tomorrow it’s Yass for a few caches and on to wodonga.

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 12155.

It’s always nice to avenge a DNF, this one was a quick grab today as I pulled in to use the facilities.

Broken cache container has been replaced and a new log ready to go.

Cache checked today, the cache is still in place but the container is damaged. The log is dry and signable; I will replace the container in due time.

My youngest daughter and I went for a nice drive today , having some interesting discussions and seeing some nice sights , a really great day . She did not want any bush walks so I had to be selective on the caches I picked. She enjoyed finding this one and made quick work of it too. Been meaning to get this since it came out. Driven past many a time, and always thought it needed to be early morning to grab it, without too many muggles. Got an early start this morning with Mad Rabbitoh, who was on a D/T challenge, so this was another reason to grab this one. Glad it was quiet, as would be dificult to apply stealth in grabbing this one. Coords pointed right at it, so i managed the difficult bit, and soon had cache in hand. TFTC

Nice easy find on way home from work. Agreed with previous post/find, the lid could be an issue if not careful.
Cannot wait to get out of lockdown to go and proper cache again :p

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 1. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway. We were headed to Tamworth but only made it as far as Scone on the first day. It was a long day of driving with caching only in the afternoon.

After a solid drive up through Sydney, I was happy to stop for a break and our first cache at a rest area that did not have people at the area we wanted to visit.

After heading off early this morning this was the very first stop and find of the trip. Having found several of these before - including the sister cache across the road - I looked in one spot and came up with the find. Awesome !

As I headed out towards Maitland today, I saw this one on the map, and for the life of me, I had thought I had found this one. Whether or not I had and forgot to log it, or whether it was a different cache here I’m not sure, but things certainly felt familiar when I arrived at GZ.

Pulled up and there was only one car nearby, so had a quick search, and spotted it in the first place I looked.

The Imp & I went to Newcastle this morning for parkrun, then returned to Cessnock via the HEX. Although she really wanted her breakfast, I was allowed to stop here for one cache in the way.

I suggested she should retrieve it, as she is now much taller than me, but she declined, and said she’d rather watch me.

Day 2 of travelling home from the Clear Waters Mega Event we headed north to Maitland to see a dog. Unfortunately the dog didn't see us as we didn't find its puzzling eye. We had solved a number of the eye puzzles but forgot to do those on our way through. We were going to go back the next day but forgot about them till it was to late.
