Found, but requires maintenance. Log is mouldy and unable to be recorded on. Hasnt been found in some time.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored another beautiful day but the nights are still chilly. Perfect day to get on the rail trail. Thanks for the hide

Found out on the ground and replaced where we thought it should be. Tftc and the series
Quick find while out doing the OTD trail. Even on a week day there are so many bikers and walkers. Not quite Rundle Mall but busy. Is a beautiful track to walk. Thanks Lib for placing and maintaining
I was enjoying my caching walk from McLaren Vale to (near) Willunga. It hadn't started raining yet and it was a lot milder than it had been recently. As I got close to GZ I worked out where I needed to look, and luckily enough the cache was quickly found. However, whilst the cache itself was fine the log book is very soggy. I could make an indent but it does need some TLC. TFTC LíB
5Found this one on our biking trip with our friends during our stay in Mount Compass.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 181. Blackwood Day 5. After a difficult day caching in the wet, I decided to head back down south near Willunga to do some caches along the rail trail and the Labs around Willunga itself. It was not very busy, but there were several family groups on the trail at times.
I had an enjoyable ride along the trail today. The OTD caches were all found without problems, one of the others was a bit wet. It was interesting to see the back of some of these grapevine fields.
Thanks for the cache LíB

Riding back from school and picked these guys up. Love this bike trail one of my favourites
Logbook is wet but a great spot for a cache, wasn’t hidden at all unfortunately. TFTC.

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another chilly dry day, just perfect for geocaching. Found the cache floating in a puddle and everything is sodden. But riding the trail we didn't have anything to do repairs. Filled hole with debris and placed the cache on top out of the water. ** NEEDS TLC FROM CO.**
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs & wine. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Cache well guarded by some slimy friends. Last finder placed cache back on the side and log and contents are very wet. Tried to sign but difficult on soggy slimy paper.

Hi LíB, I found Weird & Cool Facts #13. Friday the 13th today. I am visiting McLaren Vale for our school holidays in Victoria. Collecting a few smilies on the way. had to ask at least 20 snails to leave so I could get the lid off this one.
Many thanks LíB for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.

An Easy find whilst cycling back from school. Found the cache but was disgusted by about 7 snails/slugs that had made it their home.

First day of the school holidays and a sunny 24 degrees for a geocaching stroll through McLaren Vale. We made a quick find and on to the next!TFTC!
I was born on a Friday 13th, and consider myself a lucky person. 13 is my go-to number if it’s an option. Thanks for the interesting facts!
Out chasing numbers again and today it was the October OTD and the Bletchley series and anything else that seemed like a good idea. Managed to finish what I'd planned just on dark with over 60 finds and only 2 DNFs.
Thanks to LíB for putting out this cache for me to find

Bike riding down this way with SupaOrange and Csaba!. Fun caching along this bikeway. Turtle Out
Another day, another bike ride looking for caches. Staying nearby and part of this series was on the list for today. Tra La Laaa
GeoWife dropped SupaTurtle, SupaOrange and myself off in Willunga with our bikes. Our journey today took us along another bike way through to McLaren Vale. Good range of hides found today. Thanks
In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Lol... i loved reading the Superstitions about Friday the 13th [:o]
No such bad-luck today on this warm and sunny start to what was meant to be a wet Saturday the 12th [close there with the date ]
A most slick find was made and the log was signed at 10:31 on 12/9/20.
I'm glad we've all abbreviated the Fear of "Friday the 13th" to just that name and not:
"Paraskevidekatriaphobia" [B)]
The cache and contents are fine and dry [^]

First day out after Coronavirus lockdown. Enjoyed the chance to get some fresh air and a few finds under the belt. TFTC.
Nice find on the side of the trail. The log is getting full and needs a replacement. Tftc .
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Based at Willunga house-sitting for a few weeks, today we set off via McLaren Vale to Port Noarlunga for lunch - how many caches can we find on the way I wonder?
Glad it was not Friday the 13th today. This was, however, a quick find, just before a peleton of muggles passed us by. Thanks LiB for the hide, and the opportunity to admire the views.

This series was the target, off I set, found all the ones that are still available in good condition unless stated otherwise.
Today I headed to McLaren vale to clean up a bit more of the area and mainly target the OTD series. The weather was crap and not the best day to be out in a bike for 2 hours whilst it’s belting with rain.
Managed to also run into 2ysTassies along the way.

Accurate coordinates and a straightforward hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for the cache.
found awhile ago with g_naan before i got premium. could only log it now once i have premium tftc
Easy find. Dropped phoenix TB. TFTC and great series. Found on a windy and wet day. Got drenched on our bikes on the way home but luckily we were prepared for the weather.
Today jesswrigley and I decided to park at Willunga with our bikes, and geocache down towards McLaren Vale along the rail trail. It was a great afternoon that wasn't too hot. We managed to also get tempted by a winery stop halfway down, and then had a final wine at a McLaren Vale winery before riding back in the late afternoon. A nice day out primarily collecting 3LG's OTD series.
Some cool and fun facts with this cache - I laughed at the French hire of a quatorzieme, or professional 14th guest to mitigate against the 13 diners myth. This geocache's logbook was pretty well full, otherwise was a quick find, thanks.

Out caching in the area today. Trying to rack up a few before the end of the year while I have some time. TFTC.
Can we possibly fit any more into our day, you bet we can! With no kids here spoiling our fun by theme parks, shopping and whatever else teenagers are into we are free are birds to eat, drink and cache. After a big day out of caching and eating and drinking we were keen to get a few more caches and drink a few more wines, this is Maclaren Vale after all and the sun seems to never set down here.
We headed on down to reception to grab some helmets to hit the rail trail at our back door, we then went to the self checkout of bikes. Mr 4ando stood there whinging and complaining about $11 per bike per hour while Mrs 4ando was jumping around like a puppy ready to go. He got a swift talking to that went 'Stop complaining like a little girl and slap your credit card against that thing.' Note to self: make sure he has more wine so forgets the hours we are out!
It was a scorcher of a day and a strong gale was blowing, there was no coolness in this wind at all but it was making it really difficult to ride one way, well that's what we were going with anyway not the wine that was drunk.
We merrily rode along grabbing the caches, some we found with ease and some we slapped ourselves when we eventually found them.
Tftc 3LG we love the rail trails (only when they have caches on them of course and with wine is an extra bonus for you SA's!)

It was a while ago that I started the OTD series heading towards McLaren Vale but never got it finished. Today was the day to complete it, with good weather made for a good afternoon of walking. With the series complete there was a few nearby caches that were picked up well as part of an enjoyable afternoon. All caches were found in good order.

Decided I needed to go for a walk. It was way too hot today. If the heat keeps up will go home soon. Too hot for a kiwi here
We decided that walking some of this trail would be a great way to spend a beautiful holiday Monday and find a few caches along the way. As well as looking for the OTD series we picked up a few others along the way. A quick find at GZ. TFTC
I went and grabbed this after work this afternoon. I was a little nervous as I had been recently told about brown snakes in the area and this one was surrounded by long grass....
Found without any snake encounters.
Thanks

Thanks
Every year on our annual beach holiday we do the bike ride between McLaren Vale and Willunga and I like to find a few caches along the way.
Yet with the warm weather there was too much long grass to try for this one. More of DNT(try) than a DNF.

Great walking path discovered for the first time. I will be back again to do more caches but might dodge the coming hot weather cos the vegetation all along here is a haven got snakes - long and dry grass, they just snakes love it !! TFTC
