#4011 After a ride on the chairlift at Arthurs Seat we made our way down to Rye fighting with an enormous volume of traffic en route! Finally we had parked near BTU - Bus Stop with the plan to walk to BTU - Twisted. A coolish day but still lots of muggles enjoying the beach.
While Mrs BGF rode the bike back to collect the geocar. Mr BGF and Oscar the geohound made the find here. We hid it a bit better than we found it as it is designed. Apologies to the next finer Our last one along this stretch of the series. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.

We found the hiding spot twice before we found the cache, great Camo guys!
This is only our second find from the bay trail series, I'm beginning to get the gist here Looking forward to many more walks along here thanks.

Found at 12:26 PM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob & Alansee.
Yes - we knew it was going to be in something twisted, but exactly where? David found it quite quickly though.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass and Alansee, at 12:30. Signed as MAP (Maccamob, Alansee, Pprass). Our second day on the Bay Trail. Much better weather today, having only one very brief period with a few spots of rain. Still quite windy, but we had a good run with all the BTR and BTU caches finished, and a few other caches added for good measure. As happened yesterday, quite a few of the caches took us quite a while to find, but we seemed to do better as the time passed. Our thanks to BorisB&Natasha.
Had a great caching day today with pprass and maccamob. We found everything today that we could have and only had one real PAF. It was a combination of great hides, some good finding, and sheer persistence!
What a lovely spring day in Blairgowrie.
Found after doing a delivery nearby.
Dodged a lone muggle and it's human pooper scooper.
Managed to arrive in between rain sqaulls.
A nice quick find thankfully.
Awesome work by the CO.

Out on a caching blitz in this beautiful weather with AdrianB and Kristy’s Adventures. Quick find for our last cache of the day. TFTC
Lots of twisted trees but once we found the right tree we found it pretty quickly. Well disguised
Had some time today to head down the peninsula and try to knock off a few more of the bay trail series. I decided to drive out and work from the west so this was my turn around point. After a find away from the coast it was back to tackle this one. Bagged a parking spot conveniently close and was surprise dot see a few other cars int he area. Luckily no muggles where I needed to look and I was pleased to make a quick find at this one. My second find of fifteen for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the the cache and this great series BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.
Looking to pick up a couple of caches on the way home. I narrowed down GZ pretty quickly the GPS was unwavering. After a pretty solid search the cache was discovered. Great camo! Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
We had arrived on the ferry from Queenscliff and decided to look for some caches on the way home. Parked nearby and the area around GZ was quiet. We searched for a few minutes before finding the well hidden container. TFTC
Quick find even though it was well camouflaged. Hubby had hardly started looking. Last one for the day and the holiday trip.
In this part of the world for the cock of the bay race. A short walk from the marina, a few minutes of grovelling about to find the cunningly hidden cache, and another smiley.
Not a bad start to the day.
Not a bad start to the day.
Having a lovely day along this coastal path and the beach collecting some wonderful memories as I add some more smiles to my map. A very well done camo TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
I’d left The Driver at one spot and agreed to meet him about three caches along this track at the next carpark. The freedom to search without him hurrying me along meant I could relax and enjoy the walk as well. As I approached GZ I was grateful that it wasn’t the busy tourist season yet . I’d got near some of the pretty bathing boxes. The cache turned out to be where I first looked. I just needed to look more carefully. It was well hidden and camouflaged .
~~{Bay Trail: The Almost-Finish}~~
Today was a day in which tyres get pumped and leg muscles complain in agony. The Bay Trail was being continued on bike. Surprisingly enough, after early-July's Portsea to Sorrento trip, we've almost completed the Bay Trail completely! And so the day went on with many stops, searches and stunning views on a series where every twig's a bison, every stone an army match container, and every cache needing more favourite points than I have to give!
A massive thanks to BorisBNatasha + Nut Bear for taking care of these phenomenal caches and giving us the odd hint when we need it!

Cool little piece of camo. Lid is not there which currently isn't too much of a problem currently, but will most likely be in the future. Good spot for it!

Found it relatively quickly with the help of geodaughter who has been added to the team for the morning.
Out and about on a Sunday morning stroll. Nice easy cache for my 300th. Love the game. TFTC
A quickie here with mansgirl..log is wet and lid missing. I didn't have any spares as we on foot
Tflc - quick find with pp7 on a winters day that is warming up and on the second leg of caching heading for my 1000 cache
A good hide after a string of DNF's for me. Not much camo was left but a sneaky one anyway.
Enjoying a lovely day by the Bay with Dicksontwo. Calm seas, sunshine, people walking their dogs along the trail and some dogs enjoying a dip in the shallows. After a couple of DNF setbacks at the start of the day this was a welcome find to lift our spirits! Only a few more to complete the BTU trail, which is a lovely track to follow. TFTC
On a beautiful Peninsula winter's day (actually, more like autumn, forget what the calendar says) we came with RogDel to try to complete the string of smileys down the BTU. It turned out to be a day of mixed results which, of course, we expect from these talented COs. Success came with this search! After two DNFs to start the day, Mr R came up with this one at 12.55. What a relief! Thank you for the hide, BB&N&NB.
Away for the weekend catching up with my Naval son and taking the opportunity to grab a few caches while down in the area. We had stayed nearby in our motorhome, so while the geo teens slept on, muggle hubby and myself went for a walk to grab some caches and take in some of this lovely coastal area.
Wandered up to this one and enjoyed finding a well camoed container. Enjoying the walk and views from ont this lovely morning.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for bringing us here and placing the cache for us to find.

The cache was found without any trouble. We’re loving this walk together and the series. Thank you!
Having a few days camping nearby we had a nice evening walk to pick up a few caches ... my 7yr old son made this find fairly quickly which I was impressed with considering the great camo! TFTC
This was a quick find - we're blessed today as there aren't many muggles out and about. Thanks

I'm hiding alone, crazy I know, and I am
Tied to your strings and twisted.

Nice Camo. Found easily. First for 2018. Appreciate the cache name. Thanks for the cache.
A cooler morning this morning so out for a walk... and hunting some caches. Despite the cooler start to the day it was rather hectic as there was a Nippers event on. In a gap in the passing muggles I was able to spot and recover this cleverly disguised cache.
Thanks for the cache and the series.
Thanks for the cache and the series.
Out for an early morning walk before the weather got too hot, managed to find a few before breakfast, TFTC
Today's weather mixed of showers and sunny - headed out for a hunt day/night at Portsea, Sorrento and Blairgowrie with crank1. Clever hide. Thanks BorisB&Natasha for bringing us here.
Caching day with pwala
The weather is up and down but we still enjoy ourselves.
Most of them are excellent hides which give us hard time to found it but we enjoy.

Back today with Ahomburg to hopefully see the completion of this great series.
Saw what look like a mouse or a rat cross the path towards the cache on approach. A quick find but the creature was in there somewhere...

Find #8703
Out and about with my regular caching partner in crime SedgwickDave. Our primary target was the dozen or so BTU caches that we had yet to find and then any other cache that took our fancy. There was also the rule when we go caching together to find at least 3 cache types, just to mix it up a bit.
Twisted indeed, no problem with finding this one.
Many thanks to BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for the cache. TNLN.

After an early appointment in Mornington we went on a slow, lazy drive of the peninsula, taking in the back beaches, Point Nepean national park, noodles in Sorrento and culminating in a drive home along the beach cherry picking a few caches to find.
I was a tad alarmed as I approached GZ as there was a fresh pile of tanbark dumped but after prodding at a few false leads I found the well camoed container. Log was in good condition and duly signed, however the lid is no more and the log book is sadly holy.
Thanks Nut bear for another fun cache

Find 1093
Nearly sprung by a muggle Ranger who was taking notes on bathing boxes in the area. Parked the bike and printed to use the mobile. Once coast was clear a quick find was had.
This was my last for the day. Thanks Boris and Natasha for some excellent and sneaky caches. You made for a fun day.

An meinem letzten Tag auf der Mornington Peninsula Halbinsel.War das Wetter nicht Strand-aber absolut Dosentaugl. So konnte ich doch noch einige dieser Serie suchen und finden.TFTC
What a perfect day for a bike ride. Decided to come down and start from the top and work our way down, and do as many of the trail as possible. Thanks BorisB&Natasha for this great trail. Will be finishing them off soon.
Down at the beach today, decided to pick up this cache as it was pretty much directly behind me. Was having a bit of trouble so resorted to reading some of the logs. After that I had a fair idea of what I was looking for; the cache was soon in hand. Great camo, I brought my family down to have a look it at it and they loved it! Tftc
Took the opportunity to grab a few caches in the series whilst on a late morning walk
All caches found in excellent condition. Enjoyed the variety in hides
Many thanx to Nut bear

Out and about with mazza-g and Mark9375 on the bikes. A beautiful day to explore this part of the peninsula. Another quick find just as muggles walked by. TFTC
Holidaying here for 4 days and this was the only one we had time to grab while having lunch!
So well camouflaged, tftc

This cache took a few minutes to locate because there were so many possible hide locations in the immediate vicinity of GZ. After a short time the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Nut_bear for the cache.
Practically invisible! Despite how much I dislike these containers, a little bit of effort (and camo) can go a long way into making a good hide in the right spot. Not to mention the satisfying feeling I get that I can even find hides like this. It's almost worth a fav point but I will have to think about it. The zip lock bag here is torn but otherwise, cache is fine.
Thanks Nut bear, BorisB&Natasha.

So Railwalker and I (Walk-Away-Renee) finally did it! We finally created a joint account! It takes having a kid to make this happen. Now we are finally merging our stats. So, using GSAK we are logging this cache and it should be dated by the oldest time found by either one of our accounts (so look for a post created by either RailWalker or Walk-Away-Renee). We greatly appreciate your hard work for making that cache possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us.
Once again thank you for your time and energy put into this cache/event. The hobby of Geocaching would not be possible without the likes of you to support the community!

Getting to the end of a lovely day riding around the bay. Had no trouble here thanks Nut bear
We parked the car up the hill and walked down to this one. I think we just hit it lucky in the way we approached this one. We walked passed it a few times and at the right view we just knew it had to be close. Another goody in such a nice series
Going through the logs and forgot to log this one. Found with railwalker and signed the cache with our team name, HistoryMajors2007. Cheers and thank you for the cache.

Great easy find, we can't imagine how many people have been past this one and not noticed it, all thanks to the amazing camo.
