I plan to get out to this cache early September to reinstate it as I will be officially on holidays from start this week.

06-Aug-18
Good Day,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

GeoCrater

After getting up early this morning to take photos of the lunar eclipse/blood moon, I decided to keep going and do the other thing I love doing.... Geocaching.
Came out this way to get a few unique D/T rating caches that I needed.
Unfortunately I couldn't find anything at the Hint, so this cache needs to be checked by CO.

28-Mar-18
As with others, doesn't seem to be there any more.

09-Feb-18
Felt like looking for a few caches, so put my geodog Scruffy in the car and headed to Beaudesert for the day.

Looks like it's gone ... Sad

23-Dec-17
No luck with this one today. With that size classification and the hint this was supposed to be very easy, but I failed.

The weather will not keep cachers tucked away at home! I was out for a day of caching with stortigirls and Mr and Mrs RoddyC. This cache was quickly spotted and the log signed. TFTC

21-Oct-17
Even though it is cloudy with light rain, geocaching is still on! The RoddyCs are in the company of Selva Girls and Storti Girls.

Before walking the dam circuit, found this one quickly.

Log signed and replaced at 1:57 pm on 21 October 2017. TFTC, shanewbellamy, nugget clan

We felt like going for a drive to get out of the house for the day. Where to go?

How about a trip down the highway to Beauy? Sounds like a plan.

How about afternoon tea at the Desert Oasis? We haven't been there for coffee since we sold the place over 20 years ago.

After coffee I left the wife to check out the shops while I headed off to find a few caches.

I drove up the track and parked near the gate for a quick find.

A nice easy find.

16-May-17
Came out here today to do the walk around the dam and to find a couple of caches. It was nice to see this one pop up after just starting the walk. Signing duties were done quite quickly and it was off for the walk. I do note that the magnets have come away from the container. It doesn't detract from the cache however. Thanks.

13-May-17
Nice easy find. We were going to continue and do the rest of the series but it started to rain. Since I'm not feeling the best we thought we would go. Will have to come back another day to finish.

19-Feb-17
Out caching in this area thanks to the Stinson 80th Anniversary Event today.

On my way back to the GC collecting a few on the way.

A quick find and sign. No time to do the loop today.

18-Sep-16
With a little time to kill before heading to the CITO event at the dam today, I decided a casual walk around here would be just the thing... Even better when you pull up at the starting point and there is a cache within 5m... Big Grin

Out of the car and prepped the a wander, I strolled over to this one and found the container very quickly. Out with the log, I etched my name and tucked everything back in place.

All done, I headed off along the moist grass to find some more... [^]

Cheers shanewbellamy

Hadn't even started looking yet and found this mysterious object just hanging around. Was somehow drawn to it...potentially like a magnet?

Used to frequent this dam quite often as a running track (good three km circuit) but that was prior to Geocaching. I'm glad I could get back and find this series that you've created. It was a great morning with my two little ones and the four legged big one. Although an hour wasn't near enough, pushing a pram and having the oldest want to ask what every stick and hole was in the ground. Thank you very much for the work put into placing this series. They truly were amazing.

Camping at Christmas Creek for a few days with teamdfl Big Grin We have a couple of big walks planned, and I hope to collect as many of the nearby Traditionals as possible too.

Day 3. Time to head back to Brisbane, but of course there are a few more caches that need sorting on the way home Wink I've wanted to get these caches smiley-fied for a while now but never had the time to stop, but today was the day. However I didn't realise they were meant to be done as one long walk Red Face and therefore made it a lot harder than necessary Sad Ooops!

I started here, and decided to get these two done first. This one was in the first place I looked, so a quick find, then I continued on to the dam. TFTC, shanewbellamy.

After a fantastic week-end at Wyaralong Dam it is time to make my way home. Smile
This collection of caches in here are on my list for today. Smile
This one I found on ground and had chewing gum inside .... yuck. Twisted I removed most of the gum and replaced the cache back on the post.
Thanks for the cache.

Prior to attending the Event at Wyraralong Dam west of Beaudesert, decided to tackle the caches around this smaller dam on the eastern side of Beaudesert. A good collection of caches and tracks around this area. Cache located. TFTC

27-Sep-15
On my way to the Mt Joyce event today I thought I'd take a walk around this series which I'd been meaning to do for quite a while. After finding a tree to park the car under we headed straight to GZ - signed the log and off for a stroll. TFTC.

Not much on the agenda today so an invasion into the Beaudesert area seemed like a good idea.
This was a great cache to start with.
Birds singing, the sun shining & a nice quick find to kickstart the day

15-Feb-15
Today Dannza and I set off for a day of caching. We both have been off the caching radar lately and having withdrawals. This piece of bush was where I introduced Dannza to her first cache so it was nice to revisit it today and complete the walk around the loop. Neighbour just started mowing when we walked back out of the gate to the car. Knew we should have got this one on the way in! Waited until they were out of sight and grabbed the cache. TFTC

15-Feb-15
On arrival at this one, the Herbz kept mentioning another cache they had found in the area, much scratching of the head and trying to wake up the old memory, I finally remembered the "twitching delight" cache that used to be here.... and now long gone.

This cache was quickly found, so it was off to explore the area!

Thanks shanewbellamy

This on had fallen a little away from the structure it should have been attached too. So reapplied it to the correct area. This may need a stronger attaching device.

03-Dec-14
The first time I came in here I was not a premium member. I entered via the alternate entrance and I did the non-premium member caches out of order as the crow flies. Not really the best thought out plan. I then got premium membership and noticed there were more caches in this series so back in I go.

This time I parked at the other entrance. I followed the CO's order to complete and stayed on the track until it was time to go cache searching. All in all, five caches, from car around the loop, back down the main road back to my car took 1 hour 20 to complete.

The first cache is the easiest.

01-Nov-14
There is always a bit of a question mark most days where I would like to go and take a look for some caches. Having spotted this little group here on the map a couple of times, I finally figure why not make a day of it, and come out to eh Beaudesert area.

I initially missed the turnoff but took the second option and soon found myself at the logical entrance. I took a moment to actually read the description here, and thought that I had the order down, or so I thought anyway.

So With everything I should need (Camera, GPSr, Water, ect) I set off and quickly arrive at the spot for this cache. It was actually pretty obvious in the spot that it is, so it was a quick find. Not really anyway to really disguise this, so just replaced as best as possible.

Out and about tidying up some fairly local caches. No bikes of a certain type allowed. No signs saying I could not ride my pushbike here Wink

A nice quick find at this one to start my lap of the dam Smile The neighbours were in their yard, but a tree nicely screens GZ from them.
