Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored a beautiful day after a couple of chilly ones. Thanks for the hide LNCU
Here we are finding caches near McLaren Vale and I am banging on about Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills. What I have learnt from visiting a few wine regions is always pay out on another when you arent there. Each day this week I have been buying a coffee in the Main Street of Hahndorf because every shop has a coffee machine. Just because they do does not automatically mean they know how to make a good brew. In fact I think the local competition is to see who can own the most expensive looking machine but make a coffee that tastes the closest to official cats piss.Today we bought a coffee at Beerenberg Farm which has a really pretty takeaway cup and is probably the worst of a bad bunch. Its still sht! We were confused a bit because this hide was just sitting in the dirt on the side of the road but we fiddled with it after a while. We werent sure where to return it to so put it back where found. tftc
I saw the cache, thought it was rubbish. Scratched myself up to get into the olive tree empty handed.I read the cache name. Doh!!Ziggy58, I found Cats and Dogs: Delicious Dog Bone today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
Spending a long weekend in the Southern suburbs which I havent visited very much since I started geocaching. So lots of unfound caches to keep me busy. The main theme was to target solved mysteries, highly favourited caches, caches requiring a TOTT, adventure labs and any other caches that I passed by.A hot one today so this was a quick park and grab and then back to the air conditioned car. Thanks for the cache Ziggy58.# # #14155 # #
The plan was to cache some fresh air, scenery, and of course 40 winks

Interesting find. Found dog bone in tree and mint container, covered on the ground a metre away. Stamped and placed both back safely, slightly covered, hopefully easy enough to find
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another chilly, wet day. Just perfect for geocaching. A quick driveby, all good here TFTC.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs & wine. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

The usual Wednesday wander of the Befuddled consisting of just the Adders and Astro. with the Starfish injuring his back and the Rat unable to join us meant that there was only the two of us available.
The target area for the day was Aldinga and surrounds. An area that had been planned previously but did not eventuate in success with many diversions seeking other hides.
As always, all caches were visited and signed by all members of the group or each member had a part to play in retrieving the prize.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
Another Logbook that requires maintenance as it was wet and soggy.
Thank you for the cache %CacheName Ziggy58, found 18/05/2022

I completed several things on my Saturday list, then headed south to grab some caches on a glorious sunny afternoon. I had solved a few puzzles in the area and was aiming to get to Willunga by the end of the day. This never eventuated, I underestimated how long some of the Cats and Dogs caches might take. Never mind, I still managed over 30 caches, the last one found in the dark using torchlight, I miss DLS.
Thanks for the cache Ziggy58, found bone, it was empty. I added a sheet. You will need to attend to this one soon. Find #6375

A quick find while staying in McLaren Vale waiting for medical appointments.TFTC
out on my weekly cake and cache with mum.
we enjoyed a nice lunch in Willunga at the Alma where we had the best ever pavlova.

Spent the morning caching the Cats and Dogs series. I managed to find (or replace) 29 from the series, and there were 2 which I didn't get to attempt due to muggles. Thanks Ziggy58 for the series. Signed log GT.
Out for an afternoon of caching. Enjoyed working through a number of the Cats and Dog series! A quick find here. TFTC!
I find it annoying when reading other people's comments that say 'nice easy find and I can't find it. Luckily this was a nice easy find and a classic geocache container. TFTC
Easy find, no cache container as described. Think owner needs to do some maintenance
Combining geo-caching and hours of driving for our L plater geo-daughter seemed a match made in heaven! Great day for it too. TFTC
In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Caching around Willunga area today and getting to see the country side and the many vineyards. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining their hides for our enjoyment to try and find them.
Out and about while staying at Willunga on holiday from Brisbane. Today was finding caches of the Catsand Dogs Series as well as others. Due to the numbers I am doing a generic log. I appreciate the CO's for placing these caches out there, bringing us to different locations in the countryside. TFTC
Out and about with LiB and kkrafter on a day caching that was a little cool and damp with patches of sunshine...

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Driving along beach side suburbs today, we called into this park for a cache before heading home for lunch
Log on ground in baggie, but no container. My maintenance bag for some reason was not in the geomobile, but I did have an empty mint tin, so we placed the baggie and log in that and returned it to GZ. Perhaps you would like to check t out Ziggy58

I ended up spending most of the day down south with [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) targeting new-ish caches around Willunga and McClaren Vale. The breakfast club event at Morphett Vale meant there was a reason to come this way, and the first part of the morning was a little sporadic before we did a few of the Cats and Dogs series, and then tried to clean out Willunga. A nice day out with just over 50 finds.
This was another creative cache hide, but unfortunately, it isn't in the best of shape. With no top lid to the bone, the inside is a little wet, and so this logbook is drenched. May need some owner TLC. Thanks Ziggy58.

A nice little series that obviously has changed over time most of them a quick and easy find
Out for the day down south to solely go to the 3rd breakfast club event, with not much of a plan other than to just find caches Davidwazza and I set out to find cache around McLaren Vale/Wilunga area. A nice day out with just over 50 finds.

Found but half missing, paper too wet to sign, needs maintenance asap. Thanks though
Cache #2241. Eighth find today.
Today, the whole family visited Willunga for the almond blossom. Tried this cache on our way back home.
Found something in GZ, which looks like a cache. Checked, and found the log sheet inside. I can imagine what was cache look like, with only half left now. Log sheet in the plastic bag was wet, but still managed to sign. Cache owner may consider maintenance.
Thanks for the "Cats and Dogs" cache series, Ziggy58.

Out caching in the area today. Trying to rack up a few before the end of the year while I have some time. TFTC.
Last day of our geocaching trip around the area exploring from cache to cache with woolwood9.
We really enjoyed finding the good containers and visiting the nice locations.

The bone is back! The cache has been replaced. Easy find. The bush bashing (small dead olive branches) has been done. Logging a find as well. Tftc
No luck finding this one after a long search. I found a plastic dog bone under a tree near at the cache up the road, pretty sure it was meant to be here. This cache will need replacing.
This is the second attempt at this one.... Still no luck. Might need to be checked to see if still here.
Quick easy find on this gorgeous autumn day. Enjoying wandering around these back roads. TFTC
Headed out after work to tackle some olive trees and find some caches; with threatening rain I was after some easy to finds and this series is a handy one to pick up. Sadly no lamb chops to be found. TFTC!
Accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Ziggy58 for the cache.
Cleaing up the geomap down south with Purrfect Di,
finally finished off most of the dogs and cats series.
A great idea, and nice to see some theme on a couple still.

When I came down here a month or so back I got a taste of these cats and dogs caches and wanted to find more on this visit.
Today I found 44 caches in all, including a good proportion of these caches. some of the caches are a little the worse for wear but overall most were easy enough finds.
Thanks Ziggy58

This was to be our final full day in SA before heading back to Perth tomorrow afternoon . It has been a fantastic caching trip with old mate KrabiBoy and we have been flying through as many caches as we can manage . We targeted Willunga today and then cached our way northeast towards another OTD series [^]. Another rippa day!
I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to Ziggy58 for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!
jinta29 found your cache Cats and Dogs: Delicious Dog Bone today. This is my find #8023 and find #24 today. I was able to get my name in the log book here and we replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks once again Ziggy58 for placing this and bringing us to this part of the world!

jinta29 and I are in town this week after many months of planning for a week to remember. We are heading to the Yorke Peninsula, Murray Bridge and as many places in between as we can get to. This was one we found along the way.

Did the 40 Winks series by mountain bike and then grabbed did a few more to the north of that series, including this one, by car. Signed log.
Day Twenty eight of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.
We have been caching in the Northern suburbs, time to head South. We did some of both the Forty Winks and Cats and Dogs series, plus any that appeared on our radar as we travelled around.
We loved the Cats and Dogs series, there were several that have had much thought and planning put into them. Unfortunately it seems the CO is not a player any more and the series is falling into ruin. We did a bit of maintenance with what we had in the car, but several need the CO's touch.
Sad to see this happen.
Some dog has run off with the bone, but luckily left the logbook.
A nice regular size.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12094. Day 28 of our SA holiday. Time to bite the bullet and travel south of Adelaide from Semaphore. It was a bit of a journey - no easy way through town. We decided to start with Forty Winks and then proceed to Cats and Dogs, as time allowed.
Here we are doing Cats & Dogs after lunch in Aldinga. It is such a shame that the CO of this series is obviously no longer playing. She has created a very nice series and there were some interesting hides. It was very disappointing to find so many caches and logs in bad condition. We did a little bit of maintenance as we made our way around but left most of them as they were. It would be so good if someone could adopt this series to keep it going.
Container has been wet but was OK today.
Thanks Ziggy58

Enjoying learning more about 'cats and dogs' with jc125jc. Thanks Ziggy58 for your research.

It was hot out here on my road bike this afternoon and the terrain wasn't always ideal for my skinny wheels. I was pleased to log this find along my ride. Thanks for the hide.
Having the day off today, and given the fact that the weather was meant to be decent, I thought it was about time to knock off the Forty winks series and make a start on the cats and dogs series. Today was a father successful one with 54 finds out of 58 caches. Some of the caches in the Forty Winks series had wet logs, so for future finders it would be advisable to bring a spare note book. During this caching run I bumped into a family from Canberra who was also doing this series, who were visiting the southern part of Adelaide. Have they discovered the dastardliness of Freddo yet? Who knows. An enjoyable day of caching was enjoy, and I am a few steps closer to achieving my goal of 300 cache finds in a month.

Knocked off work early today and headed out to grab a few caches in the southern vales. Great weather for it after many locations experienced record-breaking September rainfall across the Adelaide metropolitan and Hills region, resulting in widespread flooding.
I hadn't tackled the Cats and Dogs series before now, so why not today? This particular cache was safe and dry in its hiding place. TNLNSL TFTC
