Unfortunately I couldnt find the cache today. The old yoghurt container has brown dry yoghurt on its side. No cache hereThanks to Ziggy58 for placing this cache for the community to enjoy.
The plan was to cache some fresh air, scenery, and of course 40 winks

Found cache, that nolonger the puppy poo. Happy to make this a smiley, thanks Guz for maintenance and Ziggy 58 for the placement. Time for the next one.
We are learning that trees caching has its own uniqueness. Luckily we wear hats and glasses, although, safety hats and glasses would work well. We also have learnt that while not burried, the debris gathers and covers these caches quickly. Love the change of scenery vines in the South from the vines in the North.

There are 2 caches again. Have signed both. Yet again someone leaving their own cache when they could not find the original.
Have removed additional cache container.

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another chilly, wet day. Just perfect for geocaching. A quick driveby, all good here TFTC.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs & wine. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

The usual Wednesday wander of the Befuddled consisting of just the Adders and Astro. with the Starfish injuring his back and the Rat unable to join us meant that there was only the two of us available.
The target area for the day was Aldinga and surrounds. An area that had been planned previously but did not eventuate in success with many diversions seeking other hides.
As always, all caches were visited and signed by all members of the group or each member had a part to play in retrieving the prize.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
Thank you for the cache %CacheName Ziggy58, found 18/05/2022

I completed several things on my Saturday list, then headed south to grab some caches on a glorious sunny afternoon. I had solved a few puzzles in the area and was aiming to get to Willunga by the end of the day. This never eventuated, I underestimated how long some of the Cats and Dogs caches might take. Never mind, I still managed over 30 caches, the last one found in the dark using torchlight, I miss DLS.
Thanks for the cache Ziggy58. I spent way too long here looking for something that is seemingly not matching the description and hint any more. Find #6376 at 5.54pm with dogs making awful sounds from the nearby house. Something not right here.

Spent the morning caching the Cats and Dogs series. I managed to find (or replace) 29 from the series, and there were 2 which I didn't get to attempt due to muggles. Thanks Ziggy58 for the series. This one had no lid, no log and with what looked to be a former spider home in it. Replaced cache and log. Signed log GT.

Out caching this afternoon. Found this one 6m away from posted coords and took about ten minutes to locate. There is no logbook in this cache.
I find it annoying when reading other people's comments that say 'nice easy find and I can't find it. Luckily this was a nice easy find but found by luck not skill as phone sent me to wrong tree. Also in need of maintenance as missing lid and log is scrap of paper left by a previous cache. TFTC
Combining geo-caching and hours of driving for our L plater geo-daughter seemed a match made in heaven! Great day for it too. We had to expand our search area by quite a bit, but found it in the end. TFTC
In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Caching around Willunga area today and getting to see the country side and the many vineyards. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining their hides for our enjoyment to try and find them.
Out and about while staying at Willunga on holiday from Brisbane. Today was finding caches of the Catsand Dogs Series as well as others. Due to the numbers I am doing a generic log. I appreciate the CO's for placing these caches out there, bringing us to different locations in the countryside. TFTC
So this was a fairly full-on solo geocaching day for me today, and I wanted to make the most of the terrific weather that had the right temperature, sun out and blue sky. The plan was to head south to tackle some of the power trails / series, and for the most part, that was achieved. My day started at Seaford, and then it was a run along the creek finding the *Real Aliens* series. I then diverted towards the ocean, to find a nemesis oldie and enjoy a run along Moana's cliffs. A selection of the *Cats and Dogs* series were detoured past, before a break at Aldinga's bakery. Next was the *Forty Winks* series, and then back towards the ocean to enjoy a few caches at Sellicks Beach. It was getting to late afternoon by the time I drove through Myponga, and targeted a few hiking geocaches around there, and back towards Sellicks Hill. By this time, it was dark, and so made my way home, having utilised this great weather as best as I could.
I was searching the wrong trees initially, until expanding outwards, and sure enough finding the cache when a few colours caught my eye. No poop though, much to my surprise/delight . The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Ziggy58 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Another glorious Autumn day for caching. On holidays at Pt Willunga so thought we would clean up the last of the 40 series - it’s been over 4 years, and the cats and dogs series. Easy find TFTC
After finding all our target caches in the area e had a little time to look for some other caches. Last year we had looked for a number of caches in the Cats and Dogs series but did not have time to look for them all. So we took the opportunity today to look for a few more. Accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find. However it was not the type of hide described in the cache heading. Thanks Ziggy58 for the cache.
Out with Doctor Owl for a day's caching.
This found us down south.
A quick find and sign.

A note in the cache says it is being guarded by Rodney, one of the workers in the vineyard. Thanks Rodney!
Cleaing up the geomap down south with Purrfect Di,
finally finished off most of the dogs and cats series.
A great idea, and nice to see some theme on a couple still.

When I came down here a month or so back I got a taste of these cats and dogs caches and wanted to find more on this visit.
Today I found 44 caches in all, including a good proportion of these caches. some of the caches are a little the worse for wear but overall most were easy enough finds.
Thanks Ziggy58

Did the 40 Winks series by mountain bike and then grabbed did a few more to the north of that series, including this one, by car. Signed log.
Day Twenty eight of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.
We have been caching in the Northern suburbs, time to head South. We did some of both the Forty Winks and Cats and Dogs series, plus any that appeared on our radar as we travelled around.
We loved the Cats and Dogs series, there were several that have had much thought and planning put into them. Unfortunately it seems the CO is not a player any more and the series is falling into ruin. We did a bit of maintenance with what we had in the car, but several need the CO's touch.
Sad to see this happen.
We guessed this hide, fortunately it was upside down and didn't look too bad a first glance! Very cute.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12093. Day 28 of our SA holiday. Time to bite the bullet and travel south of Adelaide from Semaphore. It was a bit of a journey - no easy way through town. We decided to start with Forty Winks and then proceed to Cats and Dogs, as time allowed.
Here we are doing Cats & Dogs after lunch in Aldinga. It is such a shame that the CO of this series is obviously no longer playing. She has created a very nice series and there were some interesting hides. It was very disappointing to find so many caches and logs in bad condition. We did a little bit of maintenance as we made our way around but left most of them as they were. It would be so good if someone could adopt this series to keep it going.
The hide was as I suspected. Needed tweezers to extract log. Log tatty and almost full. Cache needs maintenance. It is now the correct way up.
Thanks Ziggy58

So today wanted to get to 3850 so we can attempt to hit our 4000 on Easter weekend. Geohusband preferred to stay at home cleaning (yes really) so it was just the Geohound and I on today's mission. We headed back to McLaren area to finish the 40 series and do some more of the Cats and Dogs and a few randoms in between. TFTC.
Thanks butterflyjen be the driver and we found many Cats and Dogs series caches today. TFTC
Enjoying learning more about 'cats and dogs' with jc125jc. Thanks Ziggy58 for your research.
It was hot out here on my road bike this afternoon and the terrain wasn't always ideal for my skinny wheels. I was pleased to log this find along my ride. Thanks for the hide.
Having the day off today, and given the fact that the weather was meant to be decent, I thought it was about time to knock off the Forty winks series and make a start on the cats and dogs series. Today was a father successful one with 54 finds out of 58 caches. Some of the caches in the Forty Winks series had wet logs, so for future finders it would be advisable to bring a spare note book. During this caching run I bumped into a family from Canberra who was also doing this series, who were visiting the southern part of Adelaide. Have they discovered the dastardliness of Freddo yet? Who knows. An enjoyable day of caching was enjoy, and I am a few steps closer to achieving my goal of 300 cache finds in a month.

Knocked off work early today and headed out to grab a few caches in the southern vales. Great weather for it after many locations experienced record-breaking September rainfall across the Adelaide metropolitan and Hills region, resulting in widespread flooding.
I hadn't tackled the Cats and Dogs series before now, so why not today? This particular cache was clean and dry, although a small spider seems to have made a home for itself underneath. Have seen similar cache containers before, so knew what to expect here. Thanks for the fun themed cache series.

Had an appointment in Willunga today so decided to get back into some caching (seeing my Fridays are now freeing up) and do some of the Cats and Dogs series. Nice quick find. TFTC..
I was back again today to continue my beloved cats and dogs journey but with a quick visit to another cache further down the peninsula taking longer than expected I arrived here later than I had planned. So now I had about an hour until dark and would try to cram in as many caches as I could.
A quick find here. Just what I was expecting!
