Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored a beautiful day after a couple of chilly ones. Thanks for the hide LNCU
Well that was the cutest little cache. Luckily we had tweezers in the car. TFTC
This week we have a rental car and each time we hit a dirt road I get a bit precious. Its not because Im worried about the car getting dirty or a scratch, I get worried that we should be fanging along like a carpet snake instead of driving like a princess that can feel a pea under her mattress.Mrs Woodyrothwell and I were just taking about the process and the pea story and neither of us can remember whether the princess has a name or anything about the story. We also thought about how many times we have fallen asleep with house keys in our pocket after a few wines so how could a pea keep us awake? The only thing that keeps us awake at night are vindaloos, fingernails being raked over blackboards and those accidents where you havent made the toilet in time. They are even worse when you havent woken up to them (sorry you have sh@t yourself). tftc
Found it with DeafPVC ( DeafPhantom DeafVW DeafCat Thank you. Beautiful day to drive
Spending a long weekend in the Southern suburbs which I havent visited very much since I started geocaching. So lots of unfound caches to keep me busy. The main theme was to target solved mysteries, highly favourited caches, caches requiring a TOTT, adventure labs and any other caches that I passed by.A hot one today so this was a quick park and grab and then back to the air conditioned car. Thanks for the cache Ziggy58.# # #14159 # #
The plan was to cache some fresh air, scenery, and of course 40 winks
All good here. Both sides of the log can be written on, peeps.

So happy that was an easy find Nanos can be very hard. Too many places to be. Thanks Ziggy 58 for bringing us on this cat and dog trail.
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another chilly, wet day. Just perfect for geocaching. A quick driveby, but the log was chockers so we have replaced it. TFTC.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs & wine. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

The usual Wednesday wander of the Befuddled consisting of just the Adders and Astro. with the Starfish injuring his back and the Rat unable to join us meant that there was only the two of us available.
The target area for the day was Aldinga and surrounds. An area that had been planned previously but did not eventuate in success with many diversions seeking other hides.
As always, all caches were visited and signed by all members of the group or each member had a part to play in retrieving the prize.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
This requires a new logbook as the scroll is full.
Thank you for the cache %CacheName Ziggy58, found 18/05/2022

I completed several things on my Saturday list, then headed south to grab some caches on a glorious sunny afternoon. I had solved a few puzzles in the area and was aiming to get to Willunga by the end of the day. This never eventuated, I underestimated how long some of the Cats and Dogs caches might take. Never mind, I still managed over 30 caches, the last one found in the dark using torchlight, I miss DLS.
Thanks for the cache Ziggy58. I managed to get three letters from my name in there somewhere. Maintenance please. Find #6354

On an afternoon out with Gral4 to do some cache maintenance down south, once the duties were done we kept going with some caching.
No plan we just made it up as we went and had a great time. We started in Port Noarlunga and ended up in Willunga where we met a friendly cat at a multi location and eventually we had tea from the Chinese Place. I was glad it had survived COVID-19 and was still there.
Finally got this one ticked off the list, TFTC Ziggy58.

Ismartis is happy this is off her dnf list now. YEH, Ismartis. It has been fun caching with you today. Tftc.
Spent the morning caching the Cats and Dogs series. I managed to find (or replace) 29 from the series, and there were 2 which I didn't get to attempt due to muggles. Thanks Ziggy58 for the series. Signed log GT.
Out for an afternoon of caching. Enjoyed working through a number of the Cats and Dog series! A quick find here. TFTC!
I find it annoying when reading other people's comments that say 'nice easy find and I can't find it. Luckily this was a nice easy find. Not usuallyafan of micros but this made sense. Once the gaurd spiders were encouraged out of the way. TFTC
Combining geo-caching and hours of driving for our L plater geo-daughter seemed a match made in heaven! Great day for it too. Thankfully and easy to find nano.TFTC
In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Caching around Willunga area today and getting to see the country side and the many vineyards. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining their hides for our enjoyment to try and find them.
Out and about while staying at Willunga on holiday from Brisbane. Today was finding caches of the Catsand Dogs Series as well as others. Due to the numbers I am doing a generic log. I appreciate the CO's for placing these caches out there, bringing us to different locations in the countryside. TFTC
So this was a fairly full-on solo geocaching day for me today, and I wanted to make the most of the terrific weather that had the right temperature, sun out and blue sky. The plan was to head south to tackle some of the power trails / series, and for the most part, that was achieved. My day started at Seaford, and then it was a run along the creek finding the *Real Aliens* series. I then diverted towards the ocean, to find a nemesis oldie and enjoy a run along Moana's cliffs. A selection of the *Cats and Dogs* series were detoured past, before a break at Aldinga's bakery. Next was the *Forty Winks* series, and then back towards the ocean to enjoy a few caches at Sellicks Beach. It was getting to late afternoon by the time I drove through Myponga, and targeted a few hiking geocaches around there, and back towards Sellicks Hill. By this time, it was dark, and so made my way home, having utilised this great weather as best as I could.
Despite this cache's size, with only a limited number of spots it could be, it didn't take long to find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, with the logbook looking kinda new? Perhaps [@hevwalker](http://coord.info/PRD46RP) did maintenance on this cache, rather the one before? Thanks Ziggy58 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found it quite easily! Still insert Nano rant because we are doing the nano rant challenge damn nanos!! Poor kittens!!
Oh no another nano!!! We thought as we approached... but then, we could see it from the car!
In typical nano fashion, the real challenge began when attempting to remove the log from the container... eventually managed to extract and sign, then roll back up

Came back to the same place as yesterday and was very glad to not have to climb through an olive tree again. Nice easy pick up
Accurate coordinates an an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Ziggy58 for the cache.
Cleaing up the geomap down south with Purrfect Di,
finally finished off most of the dogs and cats series.
A great idea, and nice to see some theme on a couple still.

When I came down here a month or so back I got a taste of these cats and dogs caches and wanted to find more on this visit.
Today I found 44 caches in all, including a good proportion of these caches. some of the caches are a little the worse for wear but overall most were easy enough finds.
Thanks Ziggy58

This was to be our final full day in SA begore heading back to Perth tomorrow afternoon . It has been a fantastic caching trip with old mate KrabiBoy and we have been flying through as many caches as we can manage . We targeted Willunga today and then cached our way northeast towards another OTD series [^]. Another rippa day!
I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to Ziggy58 for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!
jinta29 found your cache Cats and Dogs: Rusty Spotted Cat today. This is my find #8022 and find #23 today. I was able to get my name in the log book here and we replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks once again Ziggy58 for placing this and bringing us to this part of the world!

jinta29 and I are in town this week after many months of planning for a week to remember. We are heading to the Yorke Peninsula, Murray Bridge and as many places in between as we can get to. This was one we found along the way.

Did the 40 Winks series by mountain bike and then grabbed did a few more to the north of that series, including this one, by car. Signed log.
Day Twenty eight of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.
We have been caching in the Northern suburbs, time to head South. We did some of both the Forty Winks and Cats and Dogs series, plus any that appeared on our radar as we travelled around.
We loved the Cats and Dogs series, there were several that have had much thought and planning put into them. Unfortunately it seems the CO is not a player any more and the series is falling into ruin. We did a bit of maintenance with what we had in the car, but several need the CO's touch.
Sad to see this happen.
It was rusty, spotted and full, and so was the log - BB replaced it.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12092. Day 28 of our SA holiday. Time to bite the bullet and travel south of Adelaide from Semaphore. It was a bit of a journey - no easy way through town. We decided to start with Forty Winks and then proceed to Cats and Dogs, as time allowed.
Here we are doing Cats & Dogs after lunch in Aldinga. It is such a shame that the CO of this series is obviously no longer playing. She has created a very nice series and there were some interesting hides. It was very disappointing to find so many caches and logs in bad condition. We did a little bit of maintenance as we made our way around but left most of them as they were. It would be so good if someone could adopt this series to keep it going.
The old nano on the sign trick. Log was full so I left a new sheet today.
Thanks Ziggy58

So today wanted to get to 3850 so we can attempt to hit our 4000 on Easter weekend. Geohusband preferred to stay at home cleaning (yes really) so it was just the Geohound and I on today's mission. We headed back to McLaren area to finish the 40 series and do some more of the Cats and Dogs and a few randoms in between. TFTC.

It was hot out here on my road bike this afternoon and the terrain wasn't always ideal for my skinny wheels. I was pleased to log this find along my ride. Thanks for the hide. I think this was one with a full log.
Having the day off today, and given the fact that the weather was meant to be decent, I thought it was about time to knock off the Forty winks series and make a start on the cats and dogs series. Today was a father successful one with 54 finds out of 58 caches. Some of the caches in the Forty Winks series had wet logs, so for future finders it would be advisable to bring a spare note book. During this caching run I bumped into a family from Canberra who was also doing this series, who were visiting the southern part of Adelaide. Have they discovered the dastardliness of Freddo yet? Who knows. An enjoyable day of caching was enjoy, and I am a few steps closer to achieving my goal of 300 cache finds in a month.

Knocked off work early today and headed out to grab a few caches in the southern vales. Great weather for it after many locations experienced record-breaking September rainfall across the Adelaide metropolitan and Hills region, resulting in widespread flooding.
I hadn't tackled the Cats and Dogs series before now, so why not today? Tricky one this one, and it didn't help that the dog across the road was barking its head off at me while I searched!

found with sir_spectre for the day. He got 6 finds, I got 33 finds and 0 dnfs. sir_spectre let me get what ever cats and dogs we passed as long as we didn't have to detour.
Well the almond blossom are out, as another geo person would say' The spawn of Satin' or something like this.
