Out with DRT today and this one was still in my GPSr as available. We arrived at GZ and made a nice quick find. TFTC
Headed out for a afternoon of caching with JuSoJaRa
A quick find... Had feared it was gone with the recent pruning evidence but the cache was still here.

Moved from the area. I hope someone takes the space on, would love to see what happens over the next ten years.
A nice spot here by the water. Had to check a few places as my GPS was indicating elsewhere, but found in the end.
Thanks
Thanks
We had a huge day in Canberra with Wilbert67 caching. Managed find all but 3 of our suggested list. I consider that a successful day and the weather was kind to us. Thanks for all the CO for the caches.
On a big day of caching through Canberra today with J+J.AU. Early stat and bikes ready to go. Quit a few hills to conquer today, but it was oh so much fun. Ideal weather conditions and many other outdoor enjoyers along the way made for a fun day!

I was slack yesterday - I didn't do anything much. Today is more normal. I've managed to walk 1.5 km on my ankle today, in a variety of terrain. This was a particularly nice walk. Quiet, peaceful (except when the mongrel GeoSchnauzers saw the ducks) and really beautiful on such a nice day. I found the cache with no trouble, and we did a bit more walking before returning to the car. TFTC. Ahhh, I can feel myself relaxing.
F(H)ound it! 9:55am
I'm visiting North-side to do a bit of caching. My friends, one of whom is a birdwatcher, took me on their "usual" route up to the lake and back. A very pleasant ~12km walk. This was our second find for today.
After spending too long searching unsuccessfully for a nearby multi, I was pleased that this one was a straight forward retrieve. Beautiful spot. My friend pointed out several species of birds, including black duck, coot, moorhen, magpie lark and something called a Hardhead. He says he has logged about 80 species at this pond. Out with Just a cacher for a couple of caches this morning and we had a quick grab here.

On a wet Sunday afternoon, a few drive-by caches were in order. We had fun exploring this area. We really didn't know how beautiful the landscape is around here, and enjoyed exploring today.
Thanks Raspberry Vinegar,

Indeed a nice spot. Surprisingly took a bit of a hunt as I started in the wrong area. TFTC Raspberry Vinegar
Third of 5 attempted tries this evening, but only my first find! Thank goodness this one restored my well being. What a great spot. Have lived on the north side now for 20+ years and never knew this place existed. We are so lucky in Canberra. Gets a favourite from me for bringing me to such a cool place. TFTC TNLN SL
A little tricky a first but after checking a few spots around GZ, I was happy to find the cache. TFTC Raspberry Vinegar
Nice quick find on the way to work to try and keep my daily run going
With another Rainy day coming, i thought i woould grab this before work.
nice area, but didn't see any birds

This one took a while to find, for such an easy cache haha.
Our GZ was slightly off so I was searching around the wrong area looking for a fairly tricky hide before my dad decided to widen his search and made a quick find!
Took the trackable and will move it on shortly.

Found on a hot morning around Belconnen. Parked on the nearby street and quickly walked into the area towards GZ. After a few minutes, the cache was found in a cool position by the lake. A great area to walk the dog. TNLNSL. TFTC Raspberry Vinegar!
Found with HH3K on a perfect spring morning. Not many interesting birds this morning on the pond though. TFTC!
Found with AG27 this morning. We did some circuits before I finally found the hide. There were some muggles near by renovating their fence but they did not pay any attention to us! TFTC
Nice cache raspberryvinegar and the birds were singing to me and the frogs too as I wrote up the log. TFTC TNLN SL.
Went to KittyKatch's house to do my tax and didn't have everything so we thought let's go geoacaching with the geodogs, so lots of smiles around so off we all went, KittyKatch and GrimRaider. It was such a nice day for a walk and the dogs needed one too. Lots of yucky, smelly objects for the geodogs to roll in and places for a swim - perfect. TFTC
Found on a walk with GrimRaider, DarzeeDi and the geohounds. It was too nice a day to spend inside so I left my tax return and headed out to grab a few caches. We had a lovely walk out here and the dogs really enjoyed the run and swim. TFTC - nice one
The small water ponds around this part of Canberra make for some vary interesting areas so it is nice to get to see them every now and then. Thanks.

Well how about that - somebody has put a geocache here, in a patch of plants that were planted, and are weeded around, by the Landcare group I belong to
I was going to the event the next day, then planning on doing some more Geocaching after that, and going to some other thing, and knew I would be out all day, so I figured I should take the dog for a nice long walk ... What better place to come than here, to nab this cache - lol
I knew there were no "pine" trees here ... But knew where it was likely to be ... sure enough, there it was
TFTC - this is a really nice spot (even if I do say so myself, having helped plant some of this stuff and I might tell the other few members of the Landcare group that there is a cache there (they know about Geocaching because I often talk about it to them that way, even if I am not there when they have a weeding/rubbish picking up day, it will be left there, rather than picked up thinking it is litter
btw ... not sure if it has happened in the last year or 2 but there have even been swans nesting on the edge of the water right near this cache
Oh - I left a weird little foam figure, and a frog (because our Landcare group have done Frogwatch here too), but I didn't take anything (except a couple of photos of the view/etc - lol)

Found @ 3:58pm
Had to search a little harder to find this one than the I did to find "Swings and Things". I added extra camo when I re-hid it as you could see it clearly from one angle.
This is a nice spot for our feathered friends, thanks for bringing me back here Raspberry Vinegar

#2426 - 21:30; Headed off solo this evening after another appointment to grab the nightly daily. I had been in this area before, but forgot how much it has grown. I managed to park the geomobile quite close to GZ before heading along the path. I managed to convert pine tree to casuarina and bingo, a cache. Completed the log, replaced the cache and was on my way home on another chilly Canberra eveing, mission complete. TFTC Raspberry Vinegar
We decided to head past here on the way home from work. Nice easy find after nice short walk to GZ. Thanks for another one Raspberry Vinegar
Darth was a bit stumped at how to get us close to this one so we winged it (or is that wheeled it). After an embassingly long search, we managed to uncover the booty. We had a quick vote as to whether to stay for the sunset or have lunch at the George. Guess which won?
Ah yes, the house across the way...remember it well.
Basil and I looked a few minutes before making the find...not sure how we didn't notice the hiding spot at first...but that happens. Once in the hand, the log was signed and we then on our way to our lunch stop.
Thanks RV...3 of your caches in quick time......like that.

Arrived at this location for a bit of an easy wander around the back-blocks. Made the quick find just as I was disturbed by a family in the 4WD proceeding down the path. Gather they are not caching.
3504. I had to check a few options before this one showed up. A nice spot to visit but I think the birds had all gone to bed.
Thanks RV for the cache.
Thanks RV for the cache.
8402 + 990 = 9392. A few finds during a short drive around Belconnen with ACBC 66.
Being in the area it was appropriate to try three new-ish caches. This one is near one of my old haunts (as in my old house which can be seen from GZ !). Lovely area and Pond. Once the dog-walking muggles meandered past it was a quick find.
Thanks Raspberry Vinegar !!
TN Left 2 x TBs - TFTC !!
Cheers....

No birds to see tonight in the weather, they had more sense than us. But this is a really nice area, thanks for bringing us back.

Nice easy find in a nice little spot. Plenty of water hens about today. Thanks RV.
Cache number 2,550 and was attempting for another FTF for the week. On arrival, there were still no logs online for this one so I thought I was in for a chance.
Parked in a local street nearby and made the short stroll over to the GZ.
Found the cache nice and easily and opened the log to discover the FTF had already been found. So I signed for the *STF* @ 2:33pm
Thanks for another cache in this area raspberryvinegar

*FTF* @ 1.40pm I saw this one around about 12.30pm and thought should I go for it. I knew Captain Tomato was coming over so I decided to wait for him.
He arrived and I said that there were two caches which didnt looked founded. So we drove the five minute drive from my place to this one, which I can say I have been to this place before for another cache. Cache was found quickly and we were both surprised to find the log still blank. TFTC and I thought I had sent a log in the field but doesnt seem it went in.

FTF with Mr Roo.
As Roo has mentioned, we knew an FTF was on offer but were 90% sure it would be gone by the time we arrived. But we were soon proved wrong, the cache was quickly found and the clean log signed. Thanks for the cache and the location.
