Currently unable to get out this spot. Once i can will replace a cache here.
I have looked for this one about 5 times over the past few weeks and still haven't found it despite looking under and around a lot of rocks and around areas suggested by gps, description and hints from others and still nothing. Really want to make this one a smiley
Can't get in. See photo.

Found 10/7/21... easy to locate although council are doing some up grades to the track and the seat is taped up with barrier caution tape.
There is is right where the description said it would be under a pile of rocks.

Found with Silverspirit1310. Followed the guidance given by the previous finder and was right on it.
Searched around and down below GZ for this one without success. Walked back to the seat and on the way looked under and around some of the rocks, and found this one only about 2 metres from the seat. Don't know who shifted it, or why, but certainly in a safer position now.
I made the position I found it as S23.311 E55.924

Travelling back from Dalby after a Park Run we decided to call in to Cooby Dam, with a wide variety of caches on offer around the area.
Despite checking the spot matching the hint and widening the search we were unable to locate the cache.

Found on our father son outing today. Young fella found it. Last time I was here the water was just below those three trees now it is about 10m lower All in order with the cache. Thanks!
Out for a quick pedal along the pond with Evie. There is not much water in the dam, but there must be fish judging by the number of boats out.
A nice quick find here too thanks.

TFTC smile 4072 out and about with hatzoff & RoddyC had a great day walked and walked some more the area is great Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment
After an event at Highfields, our small team of RoddyC, hatzofff, and Grannysmith1947 set off to find a few caches.
Bit worried when we arrived as track works have spewed rocks all around the seat. But OK for the cache. All in good order.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 1:00 pm on 2 March 2019. TFTC, CarrieTayAidenAndrew.

Out and about with MrGravel today to do a bit of easy sailing at Cooby Dam. Ended up doing more climbing though!
This cache has been muggled and was left sitting out in the open with a half broken clip. The log book is wet and we had nothing to replace it with. We have placed it back where it should be but it will need to be given some TLC
Have sent the CO a few photos
TFTC - even though I didn’t have to hunt for it!

Turned into one of the easiest caches I have found, as HippyDonna had said it was just sitting on the park bench after being mugged by a muggle.
Great facilities along this walk, really impressed with the number of seats along the way.

Out to cooby for the afternoon to find some geocaches. Awesome spot! Extreme relaxation. TFTC
I stopped here on my way past while hiding a few new caches in the area... all is good with this cache.
Thanks for this little relaxing walk along the shore. All is good with this cache had not been visited since last year, in good condition waiting for the next person to put the effort in to sign at such a nice place
Found the replacement cache. Big snake slithered by us on the track. .... fishermen nearby, hopefully we were stealthy enough. Thanks for replacing jd98
Slightly more than a week later, but we've decided to come along and replace it so everyone can continue caching! Just follow the description and you'll find it.
We've semi found the cache, however only the cache info page (as seen in photo). It was found on the ground without a container in sight. Well check it again next week, and if there's nothing to be found we'll replace it (by the trees) for everyone to continue caching here.
A nice day out for "Mother's day"
Was fun to come here for a play
With all the family out this way
We took a walk, found this OK.

Found with mum and dad after spending time with the cousins and Cooby to celebrate Mother's Day.
The current geo-goal is to fill in the calendar. A family get together to celebrate Mother's Day was organised at Cooby Dam and conveniently we needed a cache today so we decided to visit this one - the last remaining unfound cache for us in the area. A lovely late afternoon walk before leaving. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro' but now I have my own geocaching profile we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
Loved this spot, not a muggle in sight for hours. Cache needs a new log, other piece of paper is beyond help and I only had an unopened bandaid to write on... so I did. TFTC CarrieTayAidenAndrew
I'm in Toowoomba for a few days of camping and caching by myself
Day 3, and Nurseyjulie has arrived from Brisbane [^] We found a very useful road that left us with about 500 crow-metres to the cache. A pleasant easy walk around the dam brought us to GZ, where Nj made a quick find. Had to chuckle at the sign right here, and we made use of the convenient seat to enjoy the view for a few minutes. A lovely spot to show us. TFTC, CarrieTayAidenAndrew.

A meet up with IolantheK today and collecting a few caches in the Toowoomba area. We parked under the shade of a tree and then made the walk in. We passed a few fisherman walking back along the trail, but sadly they had no catches today. At the GZ we made the find in a appropriate spot and signed the log. We then took a seat on the bench and admired the views. TFTC
Hi, The piece of paper being used for the log is very wet and sodden. The cache container, being covered with very wet bark and leaf litter has absorbed the moisture. Sorry, I did not have anything with me to replace the log for you.
Out with Muff1 today for socialising and to grab a few caches. It was a lovely walk out to this cache. The cache is secure however very wet inside. The piece of paper being used for the log was wet but we managed to add our names. TFTC TNLN/
Together with Speedmistress we strolled to GZ enjoying the ambience of the area. The dam was magnificent with the breeze moving the water gently. As mentioned by Speedmistress the lone piece of paper with brother Colin's name on it was the only semblance of a log, no book to be found. This cache container is not proving to be waterproof, perhaps another change of containers is in order. SL TFTC
Out and about looking for a cache or three.
Today I headed out to Cooby Dam as I have a few new ones there to find.
I parked over near the boat ramp and enjoyed the walk out to this one.
A quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

This cache has slipped down the bank onto the water's edge. It is visible from GC. Seems to be intact in a cliplock bag although there was another bag at GC. An agile person, not alone, could retrieve it.
Is this a find? Yes I found it but couldn't sign the log - see my Needs Maintenance log. If the CO has a problem with this please delete this find.
Found during some morning exercise. All good with this cache, however the outer ziploc bag is starting to deteriorate.
Great view, tftc!

Lovely walk! Easy find but totally worth it for the walk and serene view.
I ran into a canoeing muggle who I walked part of the way with and then he disappeared back to his vehicle as he was gone when I came back from this adventure.
A lovely walk around the dam and the wind was up today which cooled the day considerably.
Arrived at GZ and soon found GZ and the cache.
Signed the log and returned.
I was just stating to walk away when I noticed a dead snake hanging from a fish hook on another tree.
Ugh......
I was soon out of there stage left.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks CarrieTayAidenAndrew All good with this cache

Needed to get this cache as I have had it on my list for a while. I was worried we'd drag the geoboy all the way and not find the cache as it hadn't been found since November. We made it here and I signed the log. Beautiful spot. Thank you for placing this cache here, as it brought us to a place we would come!
With our plans to travel north squashed we decided to grab a few other nearby caches. We had been here previously to grab the other nearby caches. The weather is definitely a little warm today but after just a 30 minute walk we were back in our car. TFTC CarrieTayAidenAndrew
This was a great walk in the bush. Came face to face with a snake along the way as well. Good one!
A nice walk one a beautiful day with a wonderful companion to find this one. TFTC!
I have not been caching in a serious sense since early May. Back in the saddle yesterday and it was after 1600 when I arrived in Toowoomba so drove home via a few on the New England Highway.
Back today and started with the Cooby Dam lot that are available. There are still roadworks on Pipe line road and the Gate to the Dam Wall is still closed. Parked in the bottom parking lot and there was one car there but no one in sight. Started my walk and not far from the Bridge I saw a man coming towards me. We had a little chat and both went different ways. Quick find on this one at 0945 mainly due to the good additional hint. Nearly did not use my GPSr when I spied the sign and the three trees. Good cover. All good with this one. Loved the double bagging to keep the moisture out. Still have not removed my jacket as it is still chilly. Now to walk back towards the Geomobile and the last one of the ten. rack. TFTC

We came home from work this afternoon to find that a new Cache had been published today and it hadn't been found and it was less than 10km from home. After getting ourselves sorted we headed out the door. We arrived at the car park at about 5PM, we figured that we'd have enough time to get to the cache and back to the car before it got dark. As it worked out we did end up using all of the remaining daylight.
After a short search at GZ we were able to locate the Cache container, It is always great to find a clean log sheet and to be able be the first to sign it.
Congratulations on hiding your first Geocache, I don't know how long the zip log bags will last though.
Cheers
