As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Currently busy with work and not near cache. When I find time to fix it up, I'll enable the GC.
Found it on a warm Thursday while staying in Nelson Bay. Quick find and I managed to sign the soggy log. TFTC
Will replace log and put bag in after I get back from QLD (end of Jan 2015, needed some out of state caches behind our belt).
Second time lucky after a shift of over a kilometre from its original position. New co ordinates much better but hint a little off putting as it tended to concentrate the search elsewhere and locals very sensitive to strangers moving near their fire hose as they advise it's been vandalised in the past. Despite all this cache located. Would strongly advise the CO add a bag to protect log book as its getting quite wet. TNLN. TFTC.
I'm glad the coordinates were corrected before we looked for this cache, the original location looked very unwelcoming. It took quite a while to get there with the multiple road bumps and then we spent too much time looking for a container that was barely concealed. Thanks Gruffff for a good hide.
A relatively quick find whilst having a break from Nelson Bay Road Upgrade.
The placement reminded me of the beginning of a Geo.com video about placing caches.

6488 Found with team Bob (grimraider, kittykatch ACtChill and DarzeeDi) on a trip up to Port Stephens. Had a great fun caching. Did two events. Met up with alot of lovely people and I even did a night
Got to near the listed coordinates and went this isnt right. After reading previous logs we found where we were supposed to be. Once there the cache was found quickly TFTC

I have emailed geocaching.com three times to update coordinates and still no response!
Found with the help of Grub Fred's co-ords as the listed ones are over 1Klm. out.

#FTF# I've been pestering the CO (my nephew) for the correct coords for this cache but following his description of its whereabouts, Mrs Grub fred and I located the beast at the coords herewith (1147m from posted coords). CO needs to change the posted coords and wait for the reviewer to double check, although it appears to be OK where it is. TFTC Gruffff!!

Are you able to confirm the coords? The current ones are over 1km from the leisure village I the middle of a swamp?
I suspect coords are way out. Current GZ places cache in the middle a farmers paddock in the swampland. See photo attached. I have learned that if you want to see burned out cars, be chased by bulls, or get really frustrated walking through knee high grass and ankle deep mud/water - come out here and look.
