Just Paddle Chick and myself now as others have gone to the airport. Making our way to Adelaide for a couple of nights before moving on.
We saw a number of different frogs at Adelaide Zoo, i cant remember if the green tree frog was on of them or not. Bullertrout and I are slowly making our way back to Adelaide, picking up as many caches as possible. TFTC 3LG#16493
Spending the the out in Mt Crawford area and enjoying the fresh air. Lots of different hides and lots of wildlife was spotted throughout the day including kangaroos, an emu and even a goat!
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Another chilly and misty morning out with iluvtrekking on our last day in the Barossa area. Thanks 3LG
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Our last full day in the Barossa and another chilly day, perfect day for caching. Thanks 3LG.

Lib, it is always a pleasure to find your caches. Quality and great tree selection always. I have come from Cricks Mill Road and started along Mount Road. I am so excited to boost my numbers along here. Thanks for the cache, signed and returned as found, cache in good shape.
I mapped out a plan for the day and headed off. By the time I got to Collinswood, I had already changed directions and headed straight for the hills. I targeted the four on the hill just south of Kersbrook Cemetery. Looping back to Gumeracha and Birdwood to collect the unfound, I used Cromer Road to get to Crawford and its surrounds. A great day of caching in and around the forest, with over 50 finds and three placements. Thanks to all the CO’s for their placements and ongoing maintenance.

On the backroads with Beardman 75 and Georode. Finding caches along the way back towards our AirBnB cottage.
It was getting chilly in the late afternoon as we drove along this trail.
Thank you for this hide

We decided to take advantage of the late sunlight and head back to our accommodation via the back way and collect some of this series. Quick finds and lots of fun. Thanks for the cache
You could hide a mega green tree frog at this location. Thanks 3LG for the hide.
We found ourselves in the Mount Crawford area this afternoon, with a few hours to spare. There was no better way to spend the time than to go for a walk and find some of the caches in the area. We walked about 8km and found 18 caches of all shapes and sizes with not a single DNF!
Learnt some very interesting animals facts along the way as well. Many thanks to 3LG for placing this series of caches and maintaining them for our enjoyment.

Massive tree for a small cache, but was an awesome spot for one. Would love to create one like this one day. Thanks
Headed out for a day in the bush on the Mountain Bikes! A fun day cycling around Mt Crawford and finding a few other caches on the way home with [@Davidwazza](http://coord.info/PR61VZX) ! TFTC!
With [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) available for geocaching once again after past weekends performing work and aerials, it was time for a planned out-of-Adelaide outing. We attended the nearby 5 km parkrun, and later, called past the annual pi approximate event, before heading to Mount Crawford with our mountain bikes. We then proceeded to ride up the Heysen Trail for a small segment (definitely not suitable for bikes as we walked half that), and then around the fire tracks collecting the *K9-GPS* series, *Weird & Cool Facts* series, *Animal Fiction* series, and *Animal Facts* series of geocaches. We then had a pizza dinner at Birdwood with a few final finds around there. A little windy that felt more attuned to a sunny winter day.
This cache was found whilst cycling around in an anti-clockwise direction in Mount Crawford surrounds. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I took the TB that was within this cache to keep moving it on. Thanks 3LG aka. [@LíB](http://coord.info/PR8KEM6) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Groundspeak wanted to start a streak at the end of August to get a souvenir. So I did. And despite having bugger all caches within 20 kms of home I am still on that streak. I am also trying to fill in each calendar day of the year with mystery caches and multi caches.[B)]
Today I needed to just find a cache and in doing so, continue the streak. But if you are going to drive 30 plus kilometers each way you may as well grab a few.
This was the first and a quick find. No frogs, green or otherwise sighted in the trees around here. dropped off a TB
**Thanks LíB for this cache. **

This was the main attack of the day, most of the caches were easily found apart from a few which took some searching. Some of the log books are almost full and will need replacing in the next few months.
Today I headed up north to Nuriootpa for an event put on by snappytomcats, with plans not going to plan in the morning I set off early and decided to do some caching along the way instead of doing it on the way home. But the bike in the car and decided I would go for a ride around mount Crawford then collect a few on the way to Nuriootpa. Overall a total of 42 caches for the day.

Having stayed the night nearby, we went on a quick trip out this morning to grab a few nearby caches. Quick find.
Thanks
Thanks
Found after orienteering at Gumeracha Goldfields. Greetings at Western Australia!
Lovely spring day for a ride around Crawford Forest with Pony1966. Log is damp, but ok. Covered with some more camo. TFTC

Port Wakefield to Mannum, approximately 150 kms or 1.5 hours; for non geocachers that is! We stretched both the time and the distance considerably and had great fun collecting some smiley tokens along the way. More variety here than at the zoo!
Thanks to '3LG' for this amazing roadside menagerie.

Found with Csaba! and SupaOrange before I had a caching name. A very late log. Turtle out.
Up in Mount Crawford for an event so had a bit of spare time to do a couple of caches before the event. [^] I had been along this road before and found a few of these this was the next one.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

This morning we headed out on a huge walk to collect caches to get to 6000 caches and that we did. It was a funny old day weather wise pretty cold with plenty of rain showers. We had a fab day and have walked about 20 km my Apple Watch is very impressed. TFTC and series
A handy car park & gate access had me spotting the cache from a distance.
Where else would a tree frog be?
Thanks for the cache, last one for the night

Geo grandchildren like these caches - always seem to find the correct tree!!! TFTC
Found this one on our walk today, it was quite wet, I dried it out as much as possible, but might need replacing with a screw top or clip lock container. TFTC
Yes, the bag and log are a little damp but still able to sign it. Wiped some of the moisture out and put it back in place.
TFTC. Lovely but cool day out caching while the kids are at school!! Have done some of these before but have now come to get a few more. Number 9 of 15 of these found today. Log Wet.
Nice easy find while walking back to my car before my phone battery completely dies. If in this area at this time be wary of logging trucks. They dont slow down for anyone
Me stroll continued
Lovely day for it too !!
One of the local koalas was out for a stroll here too
It was wandering along the nearby fenced off area.
No doubt wanting to get its teeth into the juicy looking trees on the other side
I had luck finding the cache after a couple of minutes.
The koala had no luck getting over the fence.
TFTC, no green tree frogs seen today.

With a couple of days off and a let up in the storms we decided a walk in the forest would stretch the leg muscles, met up with Mattycat and had a enjoyable stroll around the area, found after a short search TFTC 3LG
Out for a walk in the forest with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin.
Galumph went the frogs and signed a cache [^]

Camping at Mt Crawford this weekend for our sons birthday, so getting a few local caches. Was great that all the caches we went for were in great condition and well maintained. Great sizes too, the kids loved it. TFTC
Out with micaparamedic and The Drovers to collect a few more of these great animal fact caches. We did enjoy all the effort gone into the very interesting information on the cache pages and also the cache hides. The GPS led us directly to each one and with this many eyes all bar one were found quickly and we added our names as CDM to save room in the log books.
Appologies for the generic log but being out with a fun loving group we did not take note of each cache.
Many thanks again to 3LG for placing this cache and the informative cache pages.

Out with Team Crackers and the Drovers today, we had a quite day with just three hours caching as a trip to Adelaide Airport was needed to collect another member of our group for the Yorke Peninsula assault. We had a relaxed and enjoyable day with plenty of laughter and frivolity being shared by all.
Thanks 3LG for placing this cache.

Today we ventured out with Team Crackers & Micaparamedic,
to do a section of a nearby power trail, and a few others on the way.
With nice weather, and lots of laughs, a fun day was had.
We signed as CDM, to save on time and log space.
Many thanks for placing this cache, 3LG, for us and others to find.

Aussie M & M and Doctor Owl decided that a day caching in Harry was too much for them and so we headed out in Aussie M & M's car. We made our way through some back roads and over to Murray Bridge where we met CP wanderer for lunch
Then back to drop Aussie M & M off.
Doctor Owl and I then headed out in Harry, armed with Aussie M & M's magical geo tool as theirs is taller than mine [^]
We arrived back at Aussie M & M's at 5pm...as directed by Doctor Owl
Have to love a day of no DNFs and 28 caches found
From here on, it was just Dr Owl and myself caching.
Seems there is a lot of caches around this area and we spent some time doing this series of easy drive bys
Most were easy, some were harder to retrieve and they were all along this little dirt road
