Gummi_Venus and I had a look it is quite overgrown. Couldnt spot anything.
Down in the Christchurch area with woolwood9. Day 3, Heading to Akaroa - another very nice day out.SL *tm/ww NZ**Thank you for the reason to visit this cache and location* Soon had the container found!
Day three of my trip away with tmann421.Heading to Akaroa and surrounding areas of the Banks Penninsula. Loved the drive around and all the caches we foundSigned all logs tm/ww NZThanks to all the cache owners for the efforts in placing and maintaining all caches.
Another 100 marked off on the journey to 10,000. I had the goal of a multi find for the day and spotted a few other caches on my way. Thanks for the hide, Nosynel.

Missed this one yesterday, but I was on a mission to get to the carpark as I was walking up to the Packhorse hut for an overnight stay
As to the cache just spread myself along the fence until I found the hanging bison, very sneaky, but very happy to find.
Thanks for the hide Nosynel, the cows where on the opposite side of the road, and luckily the rain has stopped, but everything is very wet. The weather station I am sure was collecting lots of data!

I had the honour of coming out for a couple of caches with this ones CO. Located by using the spot on co ords. Wiped the write in the rain paper dry and could easily sign the log. Thanks for the cache Nosynel, couldn't help humming an ABBA tune after this.

We are back in the area for work. Found this one pretty straight away just by trusting GPS. TFTC

Found it ! Tftc. Plenty of noise from the cows over the road. Not happy with us !
Happy to find this one on the way back from a walk up to the Packhorse Hut. Well camouflaged little cache, TFTC
This took a little while to hunt down, as satellite reception is perhaps not the best in the deep valley. But eventually the eclipse was retrieved. The log is clearly a replacement, with no clues for the other puzzle. Tant pis. C'est la vie. TFTC!
Container , logbook ... Going next... I'm not sure are this was a right container

Took a bit of searching and humming the odd ABBA song and surprised how many muggles passed by. TFTH
We are at level 2 so geocaching is permitted.

Due to the government ordered Covid-19 lockdown, I will be doing my bit to #slowthespread. From 11.59pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020.
The virus can survive on plastic and paper for longer than three days
If you would like a geocaching related activity to do while you are observing the lockdown, I welcome messages about how to solve my puzzle caches - I am happy to give hints and tutorials so you have lots of new caches to find when this is over.

It's still there!
Almost 18 months since the last find, too. Phew!
So it turns out I made one *slight* assumption about where exactly it would be hidden, ignoring the other similar-but-slightly-different spots (including the one nearest GZ).
Rookie mistake! Accurate coords today, and the reward of a log sheet to sign.

Second cache of the day, second DNF. I'm not having fun yet. I thought I'd tried all the likely spots but obviously not. Will bring a second set of eyes next time.
Very straightforward - cycling GPS just about spot on - heading up the valley. Many thanks.
We had been for a walk along the track to the Packhorse Hut and collected this cache on our way home. It wasn't an instant find but a systematic search of the fenceline paid off. TFTC.

Mum and me had a day to go caching - baby was with hubby, so no hold ups - just lots of caches was the plan for the day!!! And luckily we mainly succeeded in getting quite a few off the map! I think the final count was about 40, which is decent given that big days are getting tougher & tougher with the ones near home being pretty spaced out!
A speedy find to get that count up!
TFTC!!

Out for a day's caching with daughter, never mind the freezing temperatures at the early start, icy roads, and a bit of precipitation that did not promise a very nice day! It even got sunny at certain points during the day [^] We had great fun and visited some amazing spots in the process!!! Thanks to all CO's for placing great caches for us to find!!!
#14291. There were a couple of Chorus vans back down the road, but far enough away that they weren't of great concern. Just as well as it took a bit of searching to locate this one. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker on a weekend trip to Akaroa, our first visit in over 7 years.
We thought we had found all the (unarchived) ABBA caches, but wait, here's another! With a few caches to find down this road, it was worth the detour en route to Akaroa. We left the find for the way back as the parking looked better on this side. Cache wasn't an instant find, we had to search a few likely places before SW struck gold. TFTC.

JSando and I were lucky enough to find super cheap tickets to Christchurch in the boxing day sale, so here we are for a long weekend of sightseeing, eating, drinking and or course caching. After leaving the CBD area we headed south, staying at Governors Bay, but having many hours between landing and being able to check in, we headed further south for a small loop of caches before checking in for a rest.
A quick find. TFTC

Tried to find on our way to Kaituna Scenic Reserve for a picnic -gave up and then found it with our friends on our return after quite a bit of searching. TFTC-Nice Hide
Dang it, didn't get the album info. Oh well, got a smilie face and might divert up here next time I visit. Cheers
Been here before unsuccessfully. Not sure why I missed it last time. Fairly obvious today. Cheers
Kiwi Moose and I had a wet sunday morning drive, followed by a sunny afternoon. Nice.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Just signed the log - too miserable to find the required information. May have to come back. Quick find, TFTC
Stopped by after the Earth calling Space geoevent and found the cache almost immediately, thanks to my high power MTB headlight. Log was dry. TFTC
Mmmm. couln't find this. Will have another go after the nearby photographic event in a weeks time.
Cache is very wet, may need replacing... Found with Busy Paws and Frizzledough.
TFTC!

Managed to find the final without locating this cache but always meant to finish the series anyway and now we have done that with a quick side trip on our way back from a drive around the peninsula. 5
TFTC. I missed logging this cache which was the last I completed on my Akaroa caching weekend.
It took a bit of looking for this, however it was nicely secured.
Thanks Nosynel for placing this cache.

Took a bit to find initially, but after widening our search we soon had it in hand tftc
The tyre tracks led us to the general area then our companions The Wombles-BBT and Little Horrible and us had a successful hunt for the cache. TFTC
Did a wee detour off the Main Road following Meandpedro.Pedro quickly found it and once we all signed the Log Book we went on our way,for a couple more on our list.TFTH
Couldn't find it intially but after a bit more searching had the cache in hand. TFTC.
Keen to get this before a car came by. Not too hard to find and another peaceful spot. Thanks.
Out and about on an Evenings caching adventure with TheWanglers - heading this way for FTF attempt and to grab the odd cache or two & solved puzzle or two (in the 'general area'....shot up the side road for a quick find and sign. Awesome clear night - stars look amazing.
Cheers

Woke up early this morning and was making our Sunday special Daddy's pancakes and the cachelet's were watching the Commonwealth Games. The phone went off and was quite busy this morning. Wow people have been busy. I just couldn't figure out a mad misson this way as we had to get to church this morning. We had our breakfast and more caches published!!! We have just driven from the back blocks of Leeston with a successful haul of 3 FTFs and were trying our luck for this one. The GPSr took us a merry way via back roads. I was watching our fuel consumption as the plan was to head to Little River for afternoon tea. At Motukarara I decided to head back to Tai Tapu to get fuel. Mrs TW suggested we head to the cache and come back to Tai Tapu for afternoon tea. So I whipped a u'ie with flair and Cachelet #1 pipes up "now that's what I'm talking about", who knew she's a bogan! We headed to Kaituna and as we approached GZ we were shocked to see that one of our favourite summer time spots has been converted into a dairy farm!!! The Kaituna Cherry Orchards are no more!!!
At GZ I freaked out a bit as there were elephant tracks at GZ but no cache!!! Oh no, it's a micro in the middle of now where!!! I systematically worked my way along and found it!!! Phew! I opened the log and was surprised being FTF at 2.30pm so long after publication. Not bad for a mad mission 4 FTFs. Back to Tai Tapu for fuel and hot chippies. Great day out. Had my priorites right this morning and the prize was still ours .
Thanks for the cache.
