A couple of DNFs and no finds for over a year. Can the owner please check on it
no luck today
This was supposed to be an easyish find, no luck today will have to bring some reinforcements next time

I found the mini stump but it's been cut off and no sign of a cache (see picture)

After spending the morning at the nearby CITO, snickersallan and I are grabbing a few caches and completing the ad lab also. A young hopeful was playing basketball nearby so stealth mode was required. Luckily snickersallan had been here before so the hunt was not as painful as she had.
On retrieving the container the tether broke. Had to use a tott to retrieve it. Found some materials in the car to make a tether for this cache. CO may like to check on our handiwork. With log signed cache was returned.
Tftc and fav point for sneaky hide.

A short drive up from the Gold Coast to look for a non-traditional cache. Rain wasn't a deterrent but I spent way too long looking but after checking every possibility the sneaky hide was found at last.
Thanks BoDiddlies, a favourite point coming your way for the hide and because my son loves Michael Jordan

A quick getaway to QLD with my youngest geokid for some warmer weather and took the opportunity to grab a few caches.
This cache was started at home but the site visit confirmed a couple of numbers. Still no Checksum did not work and was one less. But was the least significant so I just widened my GZ and the nice hide was found.
Thanks to BoDiddlies for the fun and the adventure.

On my way from Brisbane to the Gold Coast I devoured off the highway to try and grab a couple of caches. I found the sneaky little hide but as a previous finder noted the logbook is wet. Even thought I had the appropriate TOTT all I got when I attempted to extract the log were little clumps of paper. TFTC

Out and about with fng-affl, this cache had us both fooled, but message to CO soon had things right, hide was located, and was too damp to extract, otherwise a great hide, Thanks BoDiddlies
Setting out today to grab a few in the Ormeau area. Starting early.
Cache 6 for the day.
Did the basketball puzzle earlier and did not find it. So sent the CO a message and moved on to other caches in the area. Got updated co-ords and came back to get the basketball cache.
(I plated basketball for 30 years, and love the sport, so wanted to get these two puzzle caches today).
So with more info, went to where the machine told us.
Had been there before, but eagle eyes of the Geo-dad with me spotted something we had not earlier. Well, there you go. What a sneaky little thing.
Cache is in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache and bringing us to this spot.

Great spot. Tricky find. Took me ages to locate this. Inspired me to make my own. TFTC
Omg how satisfying was it to find this cache the geofam had given up but after a quick trip home, some perseverance with working out the coords and trolling of the app I figured out the exact location subtle lesson to the geokids on never giving up and asking for help if you don’t know something. Puzzle solved with the help of Google and Google maps street view before we arrived. Very clever hide. TFTC
A bit of research last night and then a detour on my way to work this morning.
The local counting done I sdon had coordinates.
Spotted the sneaky hide quickly, a bit of luck paired with experience.
All in good condition
Thank you for this cache

Thanks very much! Awesome basketball research puzzle. Spent so long looking for this one. Such good natural Camo.
This cache has proven to be a bit of nemesis for me. Getting the numbers was pretty straight forward but making the find was a whole other ball game. I’ve been to this spot at least 5 or 6 times, alone and with others. Swearah and I have attempted it twice before....one visit Swearah ending up bloodied after a swoop from a bird, the second time there was a couple of kids practicing their dance moves so we didn’t even get to search. I had even PAF and revisited with still no luck.
Swearah decided today was a good day to give it another crack and I reluctantly agreed. I was pretty sure it was going to be another no find but agreed to go along for the ride.
Surprisingly, it only took about 10 mins or so before I spotted something a little unusual and sure enough, it was the cache!!! Oh the relief!! High fives all round!! A FP awarded for the grief this one had given me. TFTPC!

Ohhhh yeah - Finally!
Omg - This cache!! The puzzle was a straightforward solve for krcamber. The find however was very different.
I came here with krcamber about a year ago and not only did we not find it, a bird that swooped me drew blood. I love a good wounding story though and that pic was shared with friends to show how brave I am
The second time I came (again with krcamber), we were unable to search due to a couple of girls practicing a dance nearby. Stealthing through the trees would not have been a good look.
Today, we’d had such a great day caching I talked krcamber into capping it off with this unloved one. Surely we can do it! At GZ we were screamed at by a pack of minor birds protecting their nest, but after assuring them all was fine, we continued our search.
About 10 minutes in I hear krcamber’s hushed voice “DUUUUDE. I found it!”
What?! YESSSS!! Holy cow - such a great hide.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache!

Managed to find the coordinates easily but actually locating the cache took some real persistence. A fresh layer of mulch threw us off but after re evaluating our coordinates (got the same answer) and retracing the path, the cache was located in a place we had already checked. Loved this one, TFTC
Selva Girls and I had just found the other Hoop Dreams cache and so made our way tot his one. We did the research required and plugged our numbers into the app. A few circles of gz and Selva Girls spied the hide. Very clever. Tftc BoDiddlies
Out for a day of caching with stortigirls. After finding a nearby cache, we made our way to this one. A bit of a search before I spotted something not quite right. Clever hide this one! With our names added to the log and everything returned to how we found it, we continued on our way. TFTC.
This was my first ever geocache! Took a selfie with my caching buddy on the court to celebrate. TFTC!
On aRainy day, the basketball hoops were still running Red Hot. So Stealth was needed for this Well Cammed Cache.

After dropping the Geowife fro a Brisbane to Gold Coast bike ride, I headed down and got some caches on the way. It was a bugger weaving across the path of the race - getting through those bikes today was diabolical.
A quick few calculations at GZ, and I added the pre-work I had done, to soon have a cache in hand. A nice sneaky hide. Well done.

TFTC... Tough Mothers day out. Snazzy hide which was not expected with the "camouflaged" marker.
Out caching with the Tough Mothers Remsjw, Bennyboppers, Lisylou and Misssusan79. Remsjw solved this one for us and he also found this cleverly hidden cache. TFTC!
I was sure that I had worked out the wrong. Coords since the check sum didn't add up but I had a go anyway. Thank goodness the muggle basketball players were too busy on their game to notice me too much. After a bit of wandering around I finally spotted something a little out of place I'd better check just in case and it was the cache! Yay I quickly signed the tiny log and rushed back to the car to move on to the next cache before someone gets too suspicious haha! All good here thanks for the hide and the puzzle
Very tricky. My son found this one. I never would have found this on my own. Very good cache. Tftc
No luck with this one, but then again I tend not to spend too much time hunting for the elusive ones.
I assume I had the numbers right - the check sum agreed. The tree cover made the GPSr bouncy and the hint just fit too many options. I only bothered to check a few before I gave up.

Had to abandon this one as it was difficult to find and a crazy lady sitting on her back deck threatened to sic her dog onto us
I have been on the Gold Coast for a few days now however havent had the time to head out Geocaching. Today I told my family I was going no matter what lol.
I had visited this one earlier, however serached and searched and searched and was being eaten by mozzies. I decided I would check with the CO as I really wanted to find this one. Turns out I had a critical number incorrect which had me about 30m out. Revisted and searched for ages again. Was worried I was going to have to DNF this one, however at the 11th hour, I located the goods. Very clever and very sneaky!!!
Thanks BoDiddlies for the placement of this cache, working my way towards 6,000 [^]

Caching with friends. Worked most of this out in the UK before coming to Australia. Took a
while once at the GZ, but a systematic search located this crafty cache. Fav point. TFTC.

Heh heh well done. Love it when you use a natural hiding place. This was safe from muggles today. A happy find thank you.

Our last few caching runs have been to the north & north-west so it was decided to grab a few southern smiles today!
7 of 10 found today.
We had collected the required information some months ago, with the exception of the local knowledge segment, so it was time to finish the job.
Arrived near GZ to find a muggle, his teenage daughter & two younger sons firmly entrenched in the middle of where we needed to be.
Hmmm, this could be interesting ... or easy! LOL ...
Muggle Dad was brushing up his skills with his new (Xmas pressie) $2,000 drone (7km range, Wow!), teen was zipping around on her 'hoverboard' & the boys were trying their hardest to destroy a variety of newly acquired possessions (read 'presents').
As it would seem a bit 'weird', to say the least, if we were to just wander amongst them uninvited it was decided the best strategy was to engage the muggle dad in conversation.
After lengthy discussion on the merits & capabilities of all their new 'toys' we quickly explained what we were there for which led to us being left to seek out the remaining info & the cache itself without any dramas (although I do think muggle Dad may have used the drone to spy on us).
It wasn't long before our mark was made in the log & all replace as found.
Nice idea, well executed.
Signed & replaced as found.

A bit of pre-day search gave us some of the answers, then we arrived at the park at around 5.10 and began hinting down the rest in between transient Muggles who seemed to come and go like lightening.
When doing the checksum, the girls were one short, but decided to have a hunt anyway. Not me - I went back to the car and rechecked the research. Aha! The missing number. Checksum now OK. Coordinates into my smartphone and off I went - girls following. Marked out my GZ, but it was Team Benders who actually found the beastly little (and very clever) hide!
Found at 5.45pm on 7th October 2015. TFTC,

Now to crunch the numbers.
One number off.
Ah well will go check it out anyway.
Searched for a while.
Regathered and RoddyC found that missing number.
Into my GPS and soon at GZ and I quickly found the cache.
Log signed and back into hide.

AA new weekend and a new day to be out gathering up solved puzzles and other caches to help me meet my personal goal of improving my D rating. I knew I was going to be in the area so I set about solving as much as I could last night. With that information to hand the remaining questions were answered on site and the final coordinates calculated. To the accompaniment of loud music blasting from a nearby residence I located the cache after a short search. TFTC
Some time ago I enjoyed obtaining the information required to solve some of this and then come to find the final answers and the cache. It was a great hide and a fairly quick find. We didn't realize all this new development of housing and these lovely parks were here. What a wonderful asset these parks are to the families in the neighbourhoo. Thanks for showing them to us BoDiddlies [^][^]
Another lovely clear winter's day to do a spot of caching with Aussie Liahona. We were looking for many of the caches on the CDPTrail as well as several individual caches. Thanks to all the COs for placing caches in this wonderful area.
Found at 1.48pm. great cache! & worth a favit point.
Solved this mystery cache the other day after finishing the traditional in this area.
Found this one but #2 had a mugglet at GZ
Cords a bit off for me and people in house watching.

14/3/15 Out today for the Pi event and trying to grab a puzzle cache in the surrounding location. This is our third stop after the Pi aint Pie Event and our 2nd try for a puzzle. Thankfully I had planned for spare puzzles. Once I collected the info from the park we did the sum check and we were one point out. Hmmmm.....would that matter too much...let's try anyway said Marina25. So off we trekked and began the search. Nothing. We then checked the clue and widened the search. Still nothing and this could take forever. Back to try out one the seats mentioned earlier and we re-checked our answers. Found an extra one!!! Ok...so with the correct coords we began the search again. Marina25 had the compass and for some reason I stepped a little away from her when something caught my eye. A little check and I had the cache in hand. What a fantastic hide. Definitely worthy of a favourite point. TFTC
very clever cache had the co-ords wrong so went back to the drawing board and got it right away TFTC
I did the homework on this one from home, but on arrival in the area I immediately noted I had a couple of numbers wrong... With those corrected, I headed in for the hunt and spotted the cleverly crafted container quite quickly... [^]
Relatively protected from the spying eyes of dog walking muggles, I stayed put to sort out the business side of things, then tucked the cache back before reappearing in the real world...
I imagine this place would be popular with the locals, so I was pleased ot have dropped by while they were likely still in bed...
Cheers BoDiddlies.

Success!!! Rechecked the numbers and a quick scout around and BAM! Clever spot. TFTC.
cache find #2224 We had arrived with some of the answers and quickly came up with the rest and the check sum added up. We then made our way to Gz, but were being swamped by mozzie. Mrs GT54 ran back to the car to spray areoguard on her, and then back to MrGT54 who had found the cache. Quickly signed the log and back to the car. A favourite point from us for the clever cache container. TFTC.
Clearly don't have my clever pants on. Had issues with the checksum. Nil luck so far but some happy and well fed mozzies.
With a find finally on the board this morning it was time to try the other puzzle here. Things started well, there seemed to be a good area to hind a cache, however nothing seemed to be turning up.
The numbers did not really match up to the checksum though which should have rung a warning bell that maybe it was not exactly the right place. So a check of the information and soon enough some slightly different numbers emerged.
As we approached towards the area for these new numbers something caught my eye and just a quick check soon revealed the cleverly hidden cache. Ingenious actually. We got our names added to the logs and it was time to part ways for the morning with LHE Duo.

Having solved this puzzle recently I was keen to add it to our logs. After a little time hunting with no success we rechecked the answers and soon knew where to look. This was a very clever hide and we soon had our names in the log. Replaced as found and back to the car to head on to the next one. TFTC
I had done my homework before I arrived and had a few answers.
Some contractors working over the road kept looking my way but luckily the area was empty of muggles and I strolled around to get the remaining answers. The checksum didn't add up so I had to pick a couple of different spots to search and it was the second one which contained a sneakily hidden cache.
I think I may have been a bit lucky with this one.

I had a few hours spare this afternoon and decided to come back up to this little area as now there were 4 for me to find in close proximity and with little traffic. 1st puzzle cache (which is actually no. 2) GZ was already full of activity as I drove in so I came straight to this puzzle. The houses were very close and there was an abundance of said hint.
Round and round the iPhone took me until I spotted something that perhaps just could be... and yes it was.
I have never seen one like this before and so a definite favourite from me for the extra thought involved. Thanks BoDiddlies

I had an hour to kill so I headed up to these 2 new ones, I was hoping it wouldn't take me longer but I was pretty sure I would shoe it in.
I love basketball, even though I have never played it myself, I used to be an avid Sydney Kings supporter!!
When these came up it was fun researching the necessary information and with the help of our modern day devices I was actually able to solve both puzzles before going near GZ.
The facilities were being used when I arrived by a family but apart from being friendly they payed little attention to me.
I made as if I was addressing a maintenance issue which covered up my real intent.
I walked straight past GZ twice then turned around and spotted something out of the ordinary!!
Upon investigation I was surprised to see that I had the cache in hand!!
Nice simple but effective hide, favourite point from me!!
Thanks BoDiddlies TFTC SL

Geo-wife and I visited the park on Sunday but there were too many people. I went back alone on Monday and not a soul in sight. After much looking I finally spotted the cache. Nice hide. Signed the log, replaced the cache and made my escape. TFTC
Thankfully the place was deserted when I arrived. I made my way towards GZ and scaned my surroundings to make sure no one was looking my way. Unless someone was inside looking out I didn't see anyone but I did spot the hide fairly quickly thank goodness. I retreated for a log seat to sign my name in third spot.
Thanks again BoDiddlies, another cool puzzle

On my way home today I stopped to grab this cache after solving it a few days ago.
I like the way the puzzle has you Google some information and obtain some from onsite.
Today, once at GZ it took awhile for my phone to settle enough for me to be searching in the right area.
A tricky little hide but a good one.
Thanks for the cache.

FTF @ 9.06pm. We saw this one come in on our notifications just as we were about to drop the Geo kiddies just down the road at youth. Anth set about solving this one with the info provided and with some clever detective work had it solved without actually needing to visit the park. Hehe. We decided however to try for two of the other FTF that were published at the same time as they were closer to some cachers that we knew would be in the running to grab them. We hoped this one would still be up for grabs when we came back to pick the Geo kids up. Things were one our side tonight and after claiming the other two first to finds we set off for this one. Arriving at GZ and with the clue we began our search. Anth touched the cache at one point and missed it but Sal spotted it first go. Good hide and a FP from us. Thanks for placing the 651st cache that we have found so far BoDiddlies!
