Wooot, love this one and was waiting for something to jump at me. Thank you for the cache.
We had the chance to head out into our local area to do some caching and revisit some areas we have not been to for some time. Some lovely areas visited and found a few things we had not seen before.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Teammoss5.**SKI Pair****Greetings from traveling Australians.
We found this cache today in company of Alrba. Today we were back for the western half of the trail after completing the eastern half some weeks ago. Sixth one on this section. A really pretty walk. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Find 3089
The phone ap was bouncing around a bit here. I actually walked straight past this one as it was very well hidden from that direction. I decided to walk back out and then it was spotted.
A very good size indeed.
Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks

It was a great day to head out for a bike ride along this trail. We grabbed three at the other end of the trail a few weeks back, so we thought we had better clean the rest we couldnt find this one on the way upso decided to leave it for the way back. This had us looking in the wrong spot for quite a while before we totally changed our direction due to reading to logs. Great hide . TFTC
As I did not download for offline AND left GPS in the car, love previous logs that is looked at for points with reception - go further in particular very helpful. Seat comment not so as no seats within cooee.
tftc de ja vu and to Teammoss5 for maintaining.
cache in excellent condition
A fabulous trail

Find #15 out of 15 today. Found at 2.24 pm.
We started the day with completing the tour around Neerim as part of the Neerim District Adventure Lab. After completing that, we had decided to walk the Crossover to Rokeby trail today as well as do any other cache we could find along the way.
This was the one cache we did not find on the walk from Crossover to Rokeby. At Rokeby, the family was not very happy as we could not find any cafe or place to get lunch; so had to walk back to Crossover to get our car - which meant another hour of walking atleast before they could rest in the car and eat some food.
So, they were not very enthused about the idea of attempting this cache again on the way back. But, near the GZ, I convinced them to give it another try after reading the logs and learning that we were looking at the wrong side earlier. However, still no luck and the family gave up and decided to continue walking. As I followed; I decided to give it one more shot off another trail and lo and behold, I found it this time. That find meant we have cleared out all caches on this trail for a perfect record!!!
Today was a very successful day. The most caches we have ever found in a single day to date - even more that we would have thought as the Adventure Lab checkpoints are counted as individual finds. Gives us a new target to aim for in the future!!

Love the seats along the path..had fun finding this one (my first find of this type) this one had me having to re access things from the path ...to find the right path.
One must build up the courage to explore further in! Beautiful discovery! Signed log, and it's in excellent condition.
Had no clue where this was was, could have been the tree but wasn’t brave enough to go down there, couldn’t even find it when someone supplied a photo. Good luck and thanks for the effort
I was walking in this area last year and had to give up on this one due to muggles. Today was much quieter a clever hide. Thank you
Ye ha 3rd attempt at this one found quickly after following a new geo trail and extra hints TFTC dejavu
Wow that one was hard! We searched for a long time (in a heap of different spots) and were about to give up but a look at the owner logs pit us on the right track and I had it in hand quickly.
Some of these caches need a good airing out. Not this one with a really great container. Thanks de ja vu.
No luck with this one, but only because we'd gone about as far as we were prepared to go today. Will come back to beat the rest!

Absolutely love this part of the world, always love caching down here.
This one took way to long to find, I was ready to call it just as the cache was found.
Cheers de ja vu for the cache

The weather was looking good so plans were made to catch up with omegaman1971 and Happy Pants to do some caching , we had a great time finding caches in the area. This was the toughest of the series and I even made a call to the CO, the object in the spoiler pick looks way bigger than it actually is, there were several fallen trees leaning down from the track, after thirty minutes of going in circles we finally found it not that far from the track, I reckon you could actually see it from the track if standing in the right spot, the cache was 11m from the indicated GZ, makes it hard in this type of bush.
Thanks de ja vu for the cache.
Thanks de ja vu for the cache.
Ok so I was close several times. How could I miss this? Finally after trying all the likely spots. Doubled back & there it was. Thanks de ja vu. Another find with Jimmytherat.
TFTC de ja vu. Took a while to find a not so difficult one. A challenge to get a bead on the gz with the GPS being so jumpy. Changes in terrain not helpful either. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
What better activity to do when you're socially isolating due to COVID-19 and have had your plans to see Cirque du soleil have been cancelled but go for a scenic stroll to collect a few caches?
This one took a lot longer than anticipated but ended up spotting it across the way from another trail. All in excellent condition. TFTC

We checked the cache again today. I highly recommend saving the coordinates to offline to ensure accuracy. I will also say that you don’t need to go down the steep embankment, but follow a fallen tree to about 7m from the track. A spoiler photo has been included if you’re desperate

Damn it !!! This one has got me again I'm coming back with a metal detector next time
Got Distracted by Name , good hide , found it as i was reversing back out of a tight spot. TFTC
We did the Hallam Valley trail this morning and then a quick stopover in Drouin to BBQ some sausages before heading up to this trail.
Reading previous logs and then the COs note, we weren't going to be easily beaten. Sure enough, with a bit of persistence and some good eyes, the cache was found. It is definitely there.

I think if we'd had more time, we would have persevered with this one, but no luck today. Five different devices reading different locations, along with several conflicting clues, had us scratching our heads as to where exactly we were meant to be searching. I hated leaving, but the day was fast fading and my companions dragged me away.
We had 4 different devices using different apps and no one could decide which side of the track was right. No time to waste...HNEAA
Checked this cache today expecting to replace with a new ammo tin. I arrived at GZ to find the cache in plain sight. Easy for me to say as I knew where to look. It might be worth saving the caches to an offline list as the service is a bit patchy out here. Look for an obvious track around the tree ferns and the cache is located only a short distance from the rail trail.
I was reading previous logs on our walk up to this one and knew we were in for a bit of a search. Well search we did and then we did a bit more searching..........but we just couldn’t locate this one.
I’m sure it’s still there but we decided that we had somehow lost our superpower finding skills and with so much time spent on these last two caches we no longer had time to get to the end.
But at least it definitely gives us an excuse to come back...........

We have decided to make Yarragon our base for next couple of days. This series was on our radar. Initially we had thought of cycling but on reading most caches were off he track a bit we decided to do it on foot and split the team to manage a car shuffle. Wonderful large cache, wasn't where I thought it would be but easy enough to find. tftc
6th our of 9 finds on an awesome caching afternoon! This has been my favourite cache of all time (so far)! It was just tricky enough to find, the journey was fun, and a log on the first page of the logbook from 2016 greeted us and was comforting! I love you! Thanks for the cache, took TB for it’s next adventure - left prayer flags from Nepal.
Out for a weekend away with church ladies camp and had some free time so wanted to go for a walk and find some caches along the rail trail.
