Today out and about on 186 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
Find # 14675Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 2. Murray Bridge to Swan Reach, via Nuriootpa to visit Geostuff.Managed to get my hit list, of 2 done today... a few others thrown in. A couple of short sharp trails and the fireman's hat.... then focused on the high Terrain "On your bike" caches west of Swan Reach...TFTC blackcat123
Left the van at the Towitta Hall and grabbed this one on the way to the Firemans Helmet Tftc
Day 2 of 3. In the area to complete more of the bike series which had been added to since our last visit with the same teams back in April 2021.We completed the bike series, and then moved our attention to the NVRATHM series for Firesafe. This cache was found while in the area, and in good condition. We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.'The Mob' this time included:- FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop, GoodLook, TheDame, LB, and ourselves.Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, blackcat123, for us and others to find.
With the big targets finished, we headed out today to wander around an area that we had been passing through to get to our targets. There was also a trail nearby that we had also solved. Everything looked for was found. Thanks to the CO's for the caches.#9212
SedanStaying at farm close by. Caching with Wollaston todayOur main aim was to complete the Helmet Seies placed to recognise Firesafe's 60 th Birthday & all he has done contributing to the motor racing industry. We also found a couple of other caches that were not part of the serie. Thanks blackcat123 for hiding this cache.
Another caching team stopping in here on the trip to/from the Fireman's Hat geoart. We tidied up the area, finding another four traditionals plus the AL in Sedan.TFTC blackcat123.

Found with the Jams Crew plus one travellingbees on our way to find the caches in the Helmet Series. TFTC.
quick find. Now to start the geo art.
All logs where stamped or written as " JAMS " ( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, and Sir_spectre ) plus Travellinbees for this trip. The target for this trip was to get a wherigo cache on this calendar day for me and do the NVRATHM series ( helmet geoart ). On the way near the geo art there we were driving only 30 kms due to fog and literally the groups of sheep on the road. While doing the geo art the fog lifted and it was cold but dry. After the geo art a nice pub lunch at Sedan was had then we went and found some of the local caches. The roads around Sedan where mostly dry with a few wet patches but able to still drive down them. We found a total of 23 trees down over the road and only 3 that we could drive around, all the rest i had to drag, roll, move off the road. Of those 19 trees, 4 i had to break in to pieces to lessen the weight to get them off the road. This really slowed the find count down and made it I longer than than expected but still a good day out. Over 100 caches found today including 1 adventure lab completed.

Thanks for pointing out this nice little ruin - love finding these sorts of things while caching. TFTC blackcat123!
Today we headed out on our as the others in our group had spectific caches to find, most of which we have already found and as we do not own a yak there was four that did not suit us.
Our plan for the day, well open the GPS and click on the nearest unfound cache and this is the pattern we followed throughout the day. We found all the caches we attempted, some were found much easier than others. We drove through and saw beautiful scenery, birds, magnificient trees, dusty roads and many many flies.

Another Wednesday Wandering for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We gathered at the Lyndoch and myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out for a day of caching in and around the Barossa Except for 2 DNF's (Damn the list is growing again) we managed to find all we looked for. We were last moth and yet there were five new puzzles solved to look for. As usual there were a few laughs, a picnic lunch and these are the caches we found [B)]
Cute little building that now stores hay! Quick find of the cache.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks blackcat123 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Today I headed up to Sedan and surrounds to get some numbers to help me reach my target of 13000 for the year. I also needed a multi for my calendar and there were plenty to choose from up here.
It was a great day for caching, blue skies and sunshine but not too hot, although I did get a sunburnt arm through the car window.
Lots of great caches and didn’t see any snakes which was great.
All up 48 finds for the day. Thanks to all the CO for their efforts really enjoyed my caching today.

This was an interesting spot to be brought to, particularly liked the smoke feature on the roof here. It seemed that this blacksmith shop was a long way away from other Towitta residents too.
TFTC and a favourite for the building and its unusual venting system.

Another day out with Doctor Owl and sushilord heading north. We started in Williamstown, had lunch in Nuriootpa as well as picking up some new stamps, then ended our day in Towitta. [^] A great day with lots of variety, lots of fun and some great scenery that changed quite markedly the further north and east we travelled.
After finding the nearby multi we set about clearing all the caches around Towitta. This was a quick find next to the building that is holding up very well.

Out on a Friday Frolic with a Fish and a Dragon. The emphasis was on fun, rather than big numbers, and that was certainly achieved (even with the curry Owl got for being home late for dinner). This was a day of cleaning up stray caches in out-of-the-way places and this cache certainly fitted the bill. Owl loves a bit of history and a quick find.
The old blacksmith shop is still in reasonable condition. Geo-hubby made a quick find at gz. Thanks blackcat123

An easy find in an obvious spot. Such a pity though that these historical sites are just left to neglect. Not even a plaque marking the site and giving a little history. TFTC

Taking advantage of the cooler weather, we headed out to do a days caching around the Sedan - Towitta area. This was a nice find on a beautiful day.
