Stopped and picked this up on the way home after a day out walking and caching along the point. Like others found this some way from the listed coordinates
found it? fantastic cache. too us a bit to find the right spot but relatively easy when we did
Sad I couldnt find it but being sick I didnt have much patience haha Ill be back
Another quality cache from these COs. It took a little to locate. I resorted to reading previous logs, and revised my search accordingly. All in good dry condition. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
This one had us having to expand our search area a little bit. A good little find watching out for muggle cars.
We had 16 eyeballs looking for this. Just read that the coordinates are slightly off. Will try again next time we are there.
Week away in Rye. A visit to Portsea today for a few Geocaches. Enjoyable day. Thanks for placing the geoca he
Its definitely not where it was ment to be but still in the area replaced where I found it. A well worn track is a good sign good for kids as an ammo case and fun find the inside is well made and fun
Tried this one about 12 months ago and failed. The suggested tip to look a little further east meant an easy find this time. I only gave a few caches to go out here now. TFTC
Camping at Rye, we did a day trip to Sorrento and Portsea. I was able to grab this cache along the way. Hope to return tomorrow for more fun. As stated in other logs, the cords are a bit off, but I used Riddells coordinates and found the cache quickly.
Found it , an excellent quality cache was found once we found the correct way in. Tftc
Found this great container at the second attempt. Not quite where I thought it would be.
All in good order. Thanks for the hunt x2 lol
All in good order. Thanks for the hunt x2 lol
But finding the entry into the area was the mission here once I was in the trees it was an easy find thank you so much for the Hyde very well place everything in the container is in great order
We read in previous logs that this one was about 10m further to east than GZ.
Persistence paid off and Mr Riddell eventually found it there at the base of a tree.
We found it at S38 18.756 E144 41.047 a distance of approximately 9 meters from the posted coordinates.

In the area with Rebel Acts after finishing work at the nearby VICSES.
Plenty of walking and Geocaching fun, this is one of the caches we managed to find today.
Cheers for the cache

On the way out if the reserve picked up this one. Happy to have read previous logs as it narrowed down GZ for the find. Cache all good nice to find one if these types still around..a good hide to protect it! Tftc
Quick find while visiting this interesting place.
Thanks for the cache & Greetings from Switzerland

Thankfully after a quick search, we read the recent activity and noted that cache is about 8-10mts from GPS location.
Easily found once we widened our search. Some recent tracks in the bushes also helped.
Found this one while volunteering at The Portsea Camp.

A quick find as I moved south. Love an ammo can in the bush. A few m out as per previous logs.
Found out and about on the 2023 trip for the Rutherglen Mega. Thanks to BorisB&Natasha and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
With Alansee, after bush bashing a bit we resorted to logs which were helpful to find this one. TFTC
I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to BorisB&Natasha for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

#12748 - 12:16:00 PM; After a visit to Queenscliffe yesterday, decided to head around the opposite side of the bay today and made it out to Portsea. Stopped off for this cache as we made our way through the park. I had no luck during the initial search, but previous logs helped me to widen the search area and I managed to make the find. Dropped a couple of TBs to continue their journeys after signing the log. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
Out exploring and looking for caches found this one pretty quick with riotgirlckb
Always nice to avenge a DNF. Took the long ways in - every way - then the quick way out. Nice container! TFTC
We found BTC- RAAMC while out and about on a weekend getaway.
I approached from the left, then from the right, I poked and prodded, I scratched my legs and arms. Then EB99 approached from the centre and made the find approximately 8ms from indicted GZ. It was cloudy overhead and the compass was spinning inaccurately.
An eventual find and muscles used to open the container led us to signing the log.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for hiding this cache so that we could come and enjoy ourselves

Currently holidaying on the Mornington Peninsula and the weather today was still pretty wintery but we did manage to get out and about to check out some more of the region which we did using caching. We had been down here to look for this one some time ago without luck, but today after reading previous logs we made a quick easy find entering from the 25m range side. Agree, muscles are required to open the container, we ended up taking the container back to the goe4WD and using a TOTT to open it. TFTC TNLN.
Weekend away and a quick stop for those cache before we made the trek to Fort Nepean

Staying in Rye for a long weekend with family visiting from Karratha. After a long lunch at the Portsea Hotel,we decided to go for a quick drive while the kids slept in the car . This was to be a quick stop and grab but took a bit to open the cache but quickly in hand. Very happy to get this and fill in my calendar
Agree with 10m off from coords comments, bring your muscles to open it
Loved the decorated container inside

Headed down the Mornington Peninsula, even though the weather looked a bit dodgy today. Said to my geo-PIC (partner-in-crime) Snips and Co that I'd like to get some caches I'd had my eye on and any nominated for the Cache of the Year awards.
This was the 4th of the BTC series for us and 7th for the day. We managed to bag all we targeted (pun intended). A good day!
**HINT**: Cache is about 10m closer to the 25m range than the coords would suggest, as previously logs have mentioned.
Thanks to the CO for bringing us here and placing the good-sized cache for our enjoyment.
TNLN Signed log as SALTECO, Snips and Co, LetThemEatCache, LTEC or something inbetween.

I think this one might have traveled from its original coords. It was not at GZ or near the hint tree species. However think moonah and you will be closer. I asked LetThemEatCache how she knew it was a Moonah bush, assuming she had a keen interest in botany. No. "I worked on the proposal for Moonah Links Golf Course" she said
TFTC! 15 October 2022 9:20:32 pm 3843 found it in the dark, the previous logs did help!
Mr Dromaniax's and his muggle brother were off for a couple of days of camping and geocaching on the Mornington Peninsula.
After a great nights caching last night, getting back to camp around 1am, we decided to head off early and grab a few caches before muggle brother's appointment.
The ground on the Mornington is wet. Very wet. It seems that there has been sufficient rain this year that the ground is holding the maximum amount of water it can and when you have additional rain it either sits on the surface or starts moving down hill.
We had cycled out to Point Nepean, we had cycled back to the car park and were making our way slowly back to camp.
We pulled off the road to find this cache.
It took us a good fifteen minutes to find this cache. It was only after reading a few previous logs that we greatly widened our search area. Like previous finders we found the cache around 10m from the posted coordinates. Not sure if this is due to cache creep. The cache was found safe and well and in great condition.
Thank you for this Traditional cache BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.

A short walk from the 25m rifle range and we found this one about 10m east of the listed coordinates. TFTC!
No luck here... noted people said 13m out.
Thanks to BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for the fun and the adventure.

When we were here a couple of days ago, we made a plan to come back soon for a swim in the sea. We explored the buildings at the quarantine station and completed a walk that included coming past here. We came past this cache on New Year’s Eve on our bikes, but had decided to leave it for another day. Today we explored the area, checked out the rifle range and found the cache after a bit of a search in a place matching the hint, about 7m from GZ.
Another great container decoration.
Loving these caches and this area. We will come back next year to complete the bay trail commissioned caches in the area: rifle range and quarantined.

Glad for intel on this one! It’s hard to believe today was a first visit to the Point - and busy it was as a steady swarm of folks made their way on foot bike and shuttle. Fabulous views and interesting history made for a good day’s escape from the burbs. TFTC and the FUN.
Cache about 10 ntrs off course, but after bushbashing we found where x marks the spot! Another well designed cache!
Excited to visit Fort Nepean. Quick stop here with muggle friends. She found it before me.
Thanks
Thanks
Coords had us about 10m off GZ but after a bit of a wander we spotted this cache. Love the container.
As past logs have said cache isn’t quite at the posted coordinates but eventually found

A bit further afield than indicated but kept looking in the general area & an easy find in the end - TFTC
With Steve on annual leave this week, we packed up the bikes and headed to Point Nepean. It’s been a few years since our last visit and with perfect weather and very few muggles about, we had a fantastic day.
We spent a lot of time searching here. There was a dead animal close by, so we didn’t really check that area, and just when we were about to give up, Steve stumbled across it. A little difficult to get the containers lid open, but we got there.
Thanks for this wonderful series BorisB&Natasha and Nut bear.

As others have pointed out, the co-ords are about 13 metres off. Again, a nicely designed interior cache box.
Coords were off by about 13 metres. Lid was jammed shut and needed percussive coercion to open. Suggest maintenance. Cheers.
After a lot of bush bashing finally found this! Great sized container and location. TFTC
The second one I've tackled this morning. I'm always expecting snakes everywhere so I made a point of exploring the little bush patch carefully and with help of the hint I spotted it!
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for the adventure, cool container. Need to apply a bit of force to open but still works.

found after some scrambling. The locking mechanism is broken so we prised open the container using the broken lever. A beautiful morning on the beach.
Cute little box.. very fitting for the area. Geokids loved it. Thank you for the hide. Team Tickner
I returned here for my third look I think. The cache was there all along, I was just looking in the wrong place. Although I think I had checked the particular clearing at GZ the other times, but just didn't see it, so I wonder if it was moved by a previous finder. Had some difficulty opening the very nicely sized and style of container, but got there in the end. Then opened up the medical kit and signed the log.
A couple of light planes were doing aerobatics overhead as I walked out, which would not have been a sound you would've wanted to hear during the wars. Many thanks to the CO for this placement.

The search among these trees took a while, especially with the GPS struggling to point me in the right direction. When I finally found it under a pile of branches, its hiding spot seemed so...obvious. Don't know how I missed it the first few times. I guess this is the sort of environment where an ammo can is supposed to blend in. Anyway, we're heading to our last stop now - the quarantine station. I have really enjoyed the walk and cache series around this park today. TFTC
Found at 1:20 PM GAFF3.
We scoured all around GZ and you can see that everyone else has as well, but then at a distance of 7 metres c-pprass finally finds the container just lying there! Has there been some cache creep here?
Thanks BorisB&Natasha
Feedback: This ain't a T of 1.5 with all of the tangled branches that you have to negotiate.

Couldn’t find this one. Had someone yell out hope you have you’re toilet paper
Hmm, this one has me slightly baffled. Unless it's extremely well camouflaged, I couldn't see anything that resembled a cache after a good look. Not sure if it is there, but not convinced it isn't either. Will return.
