Found it! Decided to clear up some unfound caches around the Mt Crawford area today. Another short diversion off the main track and the cache was found quickly in good condition. TFTC!
Christines cache was looking more on the crappy rather than creative side. The cache was cracked, the log book was rock hard. I replaced the cache and log. Will send pic to CO when in range. TftC
Quite a blustery day except when the pines provided a wind break, set out for the afternoon for a hike around this area of Crawford forrestry, been looking at this little group to do one day for a few years now and today was the day, all caches found in excellent condition, some might be more challenging in a few years as the saplings get bigger but an enjoyable loop walk

Spending the the out in Mt Crawford area and enjoying the fresh air. Lots of different hides and lots of wildlife was spotted throughout the day including kangaroos, an emu and even a goat!
Thanks for the cache CPwanderer.

Found while touring around Mt Crawford Forest on the MTB. A nice cool day made for a great time riding around. This cache is one that was found today. A quick find and all good here.
Find #5660 on 19 Apr 2023.

Quick find here today whilst riding along the trails, cache easily found and is all good
Today I headed up into the Adelaide hills and surrounds to tackle some caches on the mountain bike, despite the rain setting in late I managed to still get the ones I set out to do done.
Thanks for the cache

After Cromer and some others near Mt Pleasant, I am here in the forest making a few finds. I thought given their close proximity they would be a doddle. He of little experience continues to make these simple mistakes.
I parked just off Cricks Mill Rd, and made my way in. This was the second of four (dont ask). This one was found in good shape, thanks for the cache and the ongoing maintenance CP. Love you work.
I mapped out a plan for the day and headed off. By the time I got to Collinswood, I had already changed directions and headed straight for the hills. I targeted the four on the hill just south of Kersbrook Cemetery. Looping back to Gumeracha and Birdwood to collect the unfound, I used Cromer Road to get to Crawford and its surrounds. A great day of caching in and around the forest, with over 50 finds and three placements. Thanks to all the CO’s for their placements and ongoing maintenance.

Container is completely ruined and everything is water logged. Will need some maintenance soon. Cheers.
Found It!
This one also had a cracked lid and a very wet logbook in it. Left some more new paper with my name on it.

I dont know what was wetter.
Me or the cache.
It was bucketing down when I approached this one.
Pity I left the wet gear in the car.

In and around Williamstown for the weekend with the geo-pup. Day 2, in Crawford Forest.
Cache was in the open and the lid and container are cracked, so contents are wet. Next finder could bring a replacement container.
Replaced to minimise water leakage, covered in natural cammo.

Found with a group of kids from Morphett Vale Pathfinder Club while camping at Ponderosa. Signed log as MVPF as some of the kids are cachers in their right. Thanks CPwander.
Fyi there is a nesting emu here at the moment, best to avoid until after winter! They can be quite aggressive!!
Up in the area for some caching and fun. Such a nice morning to be out. Tra La Laaa
Winding our way through the hills looking for caches. Found with SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Thanks
This completes the series I think? Thank you CPwanderer for introducing me to you friends and showing me this great sector of Mt Crawford, I’ve had a super afternoon.
We had to be a little creative with this one as the lid has seen better days. Placed back upside down to help keep the weather out.
Thanks for the cache CPwanderer.

Enjoyed finding this cache. Unfortunately it was starting drizzle so we decided to head home shortly with a wet pooch. TFTC
Sons 18th birthday means we are staying nearby with 13 energetic teenagers we need to exhaust so we can sleep at night, so caching it is.
Us adults slept really well, the teenagers not so much, they are worse than the energizer bunny! But it motivated us and now sons friends want to get into caching.

Another day, another cache... with Sebastbat and Purrfect Di.

A nice neat hide right where we first looked.
Thanks CPwanderer for placing the cache and for bringing us here for another fun smiley

What an awesome day for a cache hunt with my besties NuttCache & SootCache. Found all 4 caches in the series, in the recently logged area. Cache was in great nick. TFTC!
Found with my Dad (gongbeater) and my cousin (SootCache). A great day and a great find. TFTC!
Beautiful spring day for a walk through the forest. After the girls had done a spot of cleaning their rooms yesterday, we had plenty of swaps to leave behind. Thanks for your cache.
Last find for the morning stroll. As our party had split in two, we arrived at this cache with the others standing on the road with grins on their faces. They had found the cache and signed it minutes before, so we had to refind it and scribble our name onto the log. Thanks for getting us all out here today - back off to the camp ground. We certainly completed our10,000 steps today.
Headed out today to do some cache maintenance in Mt Crawford and then over to Kuitpo to fix one over there, took the dogs for a run and they loved going for a walk through here, caches appeared on my GPS and never knew they were disabled but there is no sign of any logging going on, there are no "logging in progress" signs on the gate and no sign of any machinery, caches are in excellent condition and all nice and dry inside, as we were walking around i could see all these depressions in the ground and wondered what they were from and quickly realised that is where a tree was that had burnt to nothing but ashes. TFTC and these caches are all good to be re enabled.
Not sure if I have met Christine or not, but we just completed here new Earthcache down the road today!
Cache found easily.
Some of these 'roads' are a slog on the bike! lol
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news CP, but I think these ones should be disabled until the logging has been completed and therefore safer for geocachers. There are numerous signs around declaring it a restricted zone, and for authorised entry only!
Unfortunately we did not see the signs at our entry point, which would explain why we were passing very big logging machinery and piles of felled logs on the side of the tracks.

I don't think I have met Christine but am looking forward to doing so very soon! See Hurtles log below for the warning.
Thanks to CPwanderer and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Cache was not located last time but thanks to CPwanderer I have another smiley. TFTRC
Checked on this today and it has indeed been taken by the recent bush fires. Cache has now been replaced.
Out and about with CPwanderer checking on 4 of his caches in this area. 3 out of 4 had been taken out by a recent fire in the area. All the girls ones were gone with Marcus's cache being untouched. Something weird about that. Nice walk despite the random burnt out spots. TFTC CPwanderer and I do love the Creative Christine.
Looks like a fire has gone through here, lots of remains of trees etc, but no cache to be found, I did find a great deal of broken and burnt bottles etc...
Was out doing reconnaissance for Scouts Rally SA so made a few diversions to pick up some caches along the way. TFTC.
Found during an afternoon in the Mt Crawford area, tackling the finds with a combination of bike and on foot. Thanks for the cache CPwanderer!
Out with Debandy caching the Mt Crawford forest on a bitterly cold day made all the worse by the biting wind chill how ever once we started hiking the hills in search of the many fantastic cache all was good. Many cache were found with many more still to find on another day, one that's a bit warmer I think.
T hanks for the cache!

Managed to get here between storms today and made a quick dash to grab a couple of the caches in the group.
I will need to return on a day of better weather to collect the rest however
Cheers & TFTC CPwanderer

Our last walking cache today which brings us up to more than 8km this morning .
At least the rain had stopped now and the day was finally warming up out here - unusual for December .
After a fright when opening the lid, this was a pleasant find . TNLNSL.
Thanks CPwanderer.

A nice drive out to this area today. We made it a drive-by since we're currently holding our special entry geotool. We've known Christine & her other half Val for quite a while now and have been FTF on a few of their hides as well as catching up with them in various places around the state including at events and while out camping. Always great to see other cachers honoured with their own special hides. Thanks for bringing us out to this area again CPwanderer - always a wonderful place to visit.
Great day for a walk in a forest so headed out Mount Crawford way to target some of the "of" series.
And this was one of them.
Thanks for the cache CPwanderer

Took the long way road my iphone led me about 500m in the wrong direction before adjusting was a nice walk through the pone forest and i liked the patch of native bush near the cache Great one Thanks
Wow! A cache dedicated to me!! I have arrived in the caching world! It is humbling to have this one put out in my name- and a FTF gift as well. Thank you so much for this cache CPW, even after sending you up the creek with one of my newly published caches. You must have forgiven me?
We had planned to take the geomutt out for a stroll in the Mt Crawford area today to find some caches when the notification for this one came out. As we were going this way anyway, we thought we might go for a FTF on this one. When we arrived at the parking area though and saw a geo4wd parked there with a geocaching sticker on the back we knew we had been pipped at the post (don't people have jobs to go to? ).
We thought we might bump in to the other geocachers on the way to the cache but didn't see them. We did all of the other caches in the area and didn't see any logs from them in any of them either and returned to an empty car park (they must have seen us coming and gave us the slip).
