Out for an afternoon of caching in the Caloundra area trying to clean up more of the heap of caches that reside in the area. This one was a quick and easy find like most of the caches today. Thanks Wesso Family!
Life has been so busy with the not-so-little TTs that I hardly find a chance to get out and cache for a whole day. But today was the day. Didnt take much to convince Chamad to come and hunt with me for the day. I signed a challenge long ago for a ludicrous number of caches needed in the Sunshine Coast. I think I still have about 400 to go. So, putting a tiny dent in this was the go-to. A 9 hr day and about 30 caches. Unfortunately a few dnfs, but although it felt like 50/50, luckily it wasnt. There were a few caches that were way above their terrain because the ground is so wet and slushy and sometimes even a big puddle was underfoot (actually more so overfoot!). It was so good to get out and play and be an adult only for the day. Hmmm maybe I have that wrong. A chance to stop being a responsible adult and a chance to be a kid doing immature and silly things!Quick find here.
Out for a day of Caching and catchup time with Triple turmoil today. The plan was to grab a few caches on the sunshine coast region. While I have completed my sunshine coast region challenge turns out triple turmoil has still a big ways to go, lol. So grabbing some of the new caches and some others in the area was the plan for today. I was mostly after a multi and a whereigo for the day, the rest were just as we were passing. As always it is a fun day with some great laughs and some concentrated toilet stops to add to the agenda. I think I may have gotten 22 caches and my buddy may have bagged 30 but who's counting. There were a few dnf's but that was expected due to some log reports. All in all it was a fun no pressure and an easy day. We got in a couple of difficult puzzle caches, a multi, a whereigo, some tree fishing and just the occasional troll, lol, loved the day thanks. We signed all logs and replaced as found thanks for the hides.
Cache all good, not destroyed at all!! New log and back in place, happy days!!
Sadly, this cash has been destroyed by the storm. I tried to find it today and I found it on the ground and super wet and because of the circumstances and the fact that I dont have a pen on me, I will not be able to log this cash today. Wesso Family can you please attend to the cash and clean it up a bit? Thanks
Today I had to visit the Caloundra Courthouse to install TPM chips in our Recording servers and replace a faulty hard disk. I took Jack along to show him what I do for a job (he just thinks I turn computers off and back on again all day). This was a nice quick find on our way home.Thanks!!#3597
I mentioned to [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) regarding this new freeway exit via Roys Road and through Baringa after experiencing it last weekend, so given it wasn't too much more time, we exited it today to see the new suburbs springing up. Consequently, we detoured past this cache and it was our first stop for today. It was a quick find in a typical spot, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Wesso Family for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp. ---------- Today, [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), baby Cottontail and I ventured north to Caloundra to spend a few hours at the beach, with the CITO event [Tip of Bribie Clean Up](https://coord.info/GCAEZDF) motivating us for the opportunity. After performing our usual Saturday morning errands (parkrun and gymnastics), we took the long drive from Brisbane with little congestion, and then spent an hour walking along Caloundra's main shopping street. We then caught up with the CITO group, and baby Cottontail enjoyed the sand and ocean, whilst seeing seagulls, crabs and a pelican! Despite the strong winds and gusts, the vegetation/trees on Bribie Island (peninsula?) provided good protection, until we walked back to the "mainland" and felt the full force of the wind.
Day 2 of the Caloundra music festival and after a night of L.A.B and the Melbourne Ska Orchestra it was time to head out and capture a few more sunny coast caches.I decided to head a little more inland today and quickly arrived at the cache parking spot. A swift walk to GZ and it wasnt long before the cache was in hand and the smilie face was mine.I logged the cache and returned it safely to its hides hole. Back to the car and off on the next sunny coast adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to fellow cachers to be found.Cheers
Parked nearby, walked down, entered the arbour and hey presto there was a cache . TFTC
Alyce and I decided to take the youngest to join us for a full day of caching on the Sunny Coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for it, blue sky, stunning scenery, what more could we ask for?
We parked the car by the roundabout and walked towards GZ. Once there we were fairly confident where the cache was and sure enough there she was.
Thanks for bringing us here

Nice and speedy find here, although it wasn’t where I was expecting it to be, it was where we first looked. Thanks Wesso Family
Early drive up from the Gold Coast to meet up with E_Smiley and georode to find some more caches towards our Sunshine Coast Challenge.
My goodness Caloundra is so busy today, it is certainly going ahead in leaps & bounds.

@ finds in a row. There must be something wrong. Mind you it could easily have been DNF 3 as the box was wide open and the cache was on the ground below.
Cache returned to base of structure and box closed to keep the weather out. Possible kids have been at play here.

A quick find here while out and about during our Golden Beach holiday. Having seen Stockland's newest and most colourful legoland suburb in the making, I was attracted to the nearby green dots on my geo-map and so headed back to Caloundra via some of the dots in some other recent Stockland creations ... and from what I saw, it looks like they do a pretty good job of it.

I'm out and about with Mrs Slow Puncture today in the wilds of Caloundra West. Sorry about the generic logs - it was a very busy day and I'm catching up logging as I am close to a milestone cache. Rather than driving to the caches we decided to walk, so my step count for the end of the day was close to 20,000, that could be why we had a bit of difficulty finding some of the easier ones, LOL! (that's my excuse anyway). Thanks for placing the caches for us to enjoy Wesso Family

Staying in an AirBnB on Ascot Way so had to look for a few close caches. Out for an early morning walk. So many great walkways and parks. Only downside were the mosquitoes and the sad thought of the partial destruction of Notre Dame. Thanks to the Wesso family for so many local caches. No problems here. TFTC
Tricky little cache, especially during busy times. Having a child with you gives such great cover for crawling around places you don’t really belong - today we acted out ‘fetching a thrown hat‘. Geokid ready to receive an Oscar.
Log signed and replaced safely.

StreetWalkerNZ and I set out not long after 6:30 this morning to find some caches before the day got too warm. Our target area was Caloundra West / Bellvista where there were lots of caches, and SW wanted to avenge some previous DNFs as well.
Last cache find for the day, and all quiet at GZ for a quick find. Another that SW had found on a solo visit a year or 2 ago. Thanks for all your cache placements today, wesso family. TFTC.

8/8/18 12:08 pm Find #1988
The plan today was to grab some caches that none of us had, but it turned out our parameters were slightly out and we pulled up to do this one only to discover Wombles&Co had already done it before, so this one ended up be Ng a find just for NyssaFlutterby and I. Entering the arbour, we soon found the likely hiding place and immediately afterwards, the cache.
Cache quickly found.

On hols here out with Krissy and friend used some bribery for hungry jacks ice creams to come out with me tonight
Drove up here from Canberra, for a much needed holiday staying with my parents ... Up here for a few weeks (Christmas, and most of January figured it might be a good thing to try and find a cache each day for a week or 2 ... or 3 ... until I run out of close by ones anyway ... didn't go anywhere today, but decided I had enough unfound caches left around here that I had no excuse not to come out and grab a daily cache - so I came out for an evening walk, while my parents who I am up here visiting went to chuck pointy objects at a wall (playing darts
Recorded some interesting frog (and cane toad) calls with my phone, then wandered along a bit more and stopped here to take a photo (yes, in the dark of some plants... Had a look on the map in the app, to see how close i was to a cache (my plan was to look for the first cache I walked near, that i had not already found, and I had just walked past the one I found a few nights earlier
... Oh - there is one right here - lol
TFTC - waited for a gap in Muggle traffic, ducked over and found it in the first place I looked... I like these clever hides
(sat on a nearby lawn to sign, then replaced in between traffic again)

Today we ventured down to Caloundra, this was a tiki tour following the caches along the way.
Scenic views of mountains & seascape. Passed through some new subdivisions as well, some seemed quiet upmarket.
A good variety of caches & hides found.
Quick find but very wet log.
Thanks for placing this cache Wesso Family

#14247. I overshot this one (must have been walking too fast ), and had to backtrack. Cache was very wet inside, and the log was barely signable. TFTC.
Clever cache. Log bit damp but able to be signed. It is difficult to believe how much development has gone on in this area. Will return with my bike next time. TFTC Wesso.
A tight place to find a park, but on an "extreme" caching day we managed. As we approached GZ we were worried about the location and being seen searching near the location, but there were few cars and we spotted the cache from the footpath. Once there was a break in the traffic the geodaughter struck like a snake with venom to spare (there are no snakes at GZ .... or are there?)
She handed the cache to me and unfortunately the log had not survived the storm. It was like a tightly wound up spitwad. If I had an empty pen case, I probably could have spat it all the way back to Redcliffe. There was more water in this log than some African countries see in a year.
I reach into the geo-bumbag and pull out some fresh paper, but I haven't got a plastic bag and realise I have to reuse the current one. I then blow into the old bag (stop and think about this sentence) and the geodaughter asks "What are you doing?". "I'm trying to blow the wet out of this old bag". Forget about any sexual innuendos, I was trying to keep the caching dream alive. tftc

At one stage I had almost found them all around here.
Today I nearly made it just over 40 finds for the day. [^]

Before we went to find this one we needed our usual bakery stop to refuel our energy. The bakehouse bakery at Caloundra is awesome, we discovered today the owner is a chef and the young boy that works for him was probably the best kid that has ever served us!!!! Highly recommend a visit here:)

Out with Mrs wombles today and this was the 4th find of the day. on approach to this one we had a fair idea where to look and yup I could actually see it from a few meters away as it was slightly hanging down, so when replacing I fixed it up so its not so visable hanging down. TFTC
