Sorry But I will not be replacing the cache because the locals are removing them because they reckon the geocachers are doing donnuts etc in the parking area and I will have to arhive it.
Went back to have another go at this one...but it seems the replacement is now missing...looked in, around & under both logs...might need checking again.
After spending the weekend at Towitta Park on our Annual Scout Leaders Retreat, I collected some caches on the way home with Flux24...
This is a beautiful area..but unfortunately we were not able to locate this cache today...we saw something sticking out of a hole in the end of the log...thought if we pull it, it might be the cache...oh no it was a rabbits leg...fur and all...I hope that was not the cache...no place to stamp it [xx(]...maybe that's where the cache was meant to be...after disinfecting our hands we left defeated

Back in SA for a few weeks and loving it already. Magnificent weather that has been turned on for us.
Up early this morning to go to the Dawn Service, back at home, we checked out nearby caches, packed some lunch and set off for a days outing. [^]
Well a full on day we had. How do they say [?] When in Rome ........ Well when in the Australian Power Trail State do some Power trails [:o)]
So sure enough a big day out for us and we arrived home exhausted and with 81smilies our reward.

A quick and easy find in a lovely location!
Out and about with Ozibags today where we enjoyed a beautiful country drive [^] on a gorgeous day [^] whilst having fun (gotta love lots of silly talk and laughter) [^] and picking up a few caches [^].
Not only did we have an awesome day, but we also had a few unexpected adventures.......including almost managing to get shot at [xx(] by a very scary angry muggle who clearly had a few issues (which also meant at least one of the caches we found will likely need archiving).....I do wonder what may have been cultivating on that property [?] [:(!].......but before we knew how our day was going to unfold, this was one of our stops
Thanks for the cache blackcat123

Went for a drive with GoodLook today to find a few geocaches and enjoy the sunny warm weather. It's great to see a flourishing community project. TFTC blackcat123.
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I did in 2016. I cache with an assortment of cachers and never alone. In 2016 I cached with Moneydork, Ride the GeoWalrus, Locus Cacher, Liz & Bruce and Team Zouk. My log should match up with one of theirs. I enjoy every cache find I have made and do not for one second take for granted the effort going into each one, its just I'm very bad at logging my finds and I'm trying to improve. To improve I have to reduce the quality of my log and just get it over with -- for now. If I can form a good habit again I will return to my once more meaningful logging. Thanks heaps for hiding caches around South Australia that I could find!
A quick find whilsy out this way.
Alas too dark to appreciate the garden tonight.
Nice work though...

Second geocache for the year after a bit of a break from geocaching. What a lovely bush garden here with the local community clearly making an effort to re-vegetate and provide some native habitat. Very impressed, thanks for bringing us out this way. TFTC
We were travelling with micaparamedic and joined forces with The Drovers and Konie to grab a few South Australian caches.
We based ourselves at the Mannum caravan park for a few days and headed out from there.
After doing a few series of caches we were picking up some of the lone trads. This is indeed a great looking bush garden and well deserving of this cache. We then headed to the back of the park for another cache.
We signed as CDKM to save room in the smaller log books.
Many thanks blackcat123 for bringing us here.

Camped at Mannum for a few days, with Team Crackers, Micaparamedic & Konie.
Ventured out to complete the power trails in the area, and a few others on the way.
With nice weather, and lots of laughs, a fun day was had.
We signed as CDKM, to save on time and log space.
Many thanks for placing this cache, blackcat123, for us and others to find.

Team Crackers and I met up with The Drovers and Konie in Bordertown yesterday as we all head to the YP as one over the next few days. Today we cached around the Mannum area with quite a few trads, puzzles, multi's and earthcaches found and logged, around 170 all up for the day. An assault on a number of series was the main focus on the day. The log books now carry the acronym CDKM or a derivative of that, depending on whether a team member had found the cache on a previous occasion.
Thanks blackcat123 for placing this cache.

Out and about caching with Team Crackers, The Drovers and Micaparamedic while in the Mannum area and we headed off to cache the surrounding areas and do some power trails. We found a variety of different caches and this was one of them.
We signed the log as CDKM and all were returned as found.

Out with SA Sewer Rats for an afternoon of laughs and caching. Mrs Rat knew a good spot for a cuppa and even found the cache for Owl. Lovely lady! And a lovely spot.
Found It!
A quick find here and an interesting place. It's got a very big car park - how many visitors does it get?

Cache was easy to find. Was laying on the ground. Replaced in most likely spot. Tftc.
Day 3 Mount Pleasant. Staying at the caravan Park / Showgrounds
A much better day for the weather so we headed towards Sedan to find a few caches, we enjoyed our tiki tour of the area & learning a little history along the way.
A very nice garden for such a small community. Favourite point given

Wow !! What a great spot for a stroll
Lots of signs to read and learn about the flora and fauna of the area.
Even a cache to find after the muggles have finally hopped in their car and left

An easy find since the cache has been replaced. I so wish that I had more time to check this place out! But I have to get home.
Came past today and had another search and found it, thanks for replacing the cache. TFTC SL
Nope, no, nothing.
Didnt find it because it was a nano and I give up after 2 minutes with these.
Found over 150 caches today but this wasnt one of them.
3 location stood out today and this was one of them.
Good old fashioned caching being brought to somewhere you would have never visited otherwise.
We spent about 30 minutes enjoying the garden
Pity the cache wasnt found so I could give this one a favourite point.

Well here we are standing there with GPS in hand when a 4WD quickly pulls up in front of us, (can't make out I'm picking flowers), alas it was The Kelly Gang, so I just stood back and let 'em go. Thank goodness they rolled up 'cause they found it for us.

What a great day! [^]
I set out with Snap Happy, followed by chrispy89, to attend at Geocaching's 15th birthday event.
Then after the event, I swapped into firesafe's car to cache a small series.
Ended the day with 1 event attended and 44 finds
This took us a bit of time to find and was eventually found by firesafe in a spot that I had looked near but not in....I think I got distracted by the shiny cockroach
Cool bush garden! [^]

Ismartis and I headed out today to complete the BMT series and after that we found a few more.
Ismartis had been here before and told me it had taken her quite a while to find. [?] Today my caching mojo was spot on and I found the cache in the first place I looked. [^] [^]

Out with Mattycat for a night caching run, this one took a very long time before the cat spotted the clever little hide, from what we could see by torchlight this looks like a great garden TFTC blackcat123
Out for a night caching run with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin,
a nice clear night and not one dnf (persistence pays off!).
Well we hunted and hunted for this one, almost giving up,
the torch light fell on a shiny spot - gotcha

Decided on an afternoon of caching, and the BMT series was to be our goal..Did a few laps of said hint when geokid senior says ah ha here tis.Nice gardens here,TFTC
After visiting our grand-daughter in Adelaide for a week (also her mother and father), we started the trip home by taking many deviations along the way, this trip north of Mannum being one. Although it was quite hot, it was still a pleasant way to spend Sunday afternoon.
This was an unexpected oasis in this area and credit to those responsible for establishing and maintaining the garden. Although the coordinates were accurate, it still took a few minutes to find. Thanks for the cache blackcat123.

Found with Snaphappy on a very warm Sunday afternoons caching around this area of South Oz. What a huge surprise to see this here, just another place no one would never know existed if we werent bought here through caching. Thanks to blackcat123 for the cache and for highlighting this great garden.
Heading home with the x-trailers and 3LG after 3days caching the riverland.

Today is day three of our trip away. We set off for Berri to spend 3 days caching the Riverland area, joined by earthlight and Gwen from The X-Trailers. This was a good opportunity to find (or DNF) caches while trialling out our new tent and camping accessories, gearing up for when we head off to the QLD Mega at the end of March. We started out in temperatures of 38ºc before that first evening brought light showers, although not enough to dull the 41ºc temp for day two. Day three was a much nicer day as the day cooled down to a nice 28ºc. We managed 200+ finds on this trip. On day two we found caches in 3 states in 1 day being SA, VIC & NSW, that was quite a highlight. No snakes were spotted, guess it was too hot for them but we had one roo bound slowly across the road in front of us. Next trip back here will be with the boat, there are plenty of river caches to hunt for and naturally all the ones we didn't have time for. read the hint and walked straight up to it, the hint makes it a 1.5 difficulty. TFTC
Found while out getting a new series. We didn't know this spot was even here! Thanks for bringing us here.

Made a diversion to this cache after completing the BMT caches. Glad we had CP as a previous finder with us to nudge us in the right direction, thats a tricky hide.
Took a while despite the clue. Nicely hidden. Interesting garden. Thanks blackcat123.
Obviously you have some local knowledge to show us this place .

After some searching we came up empty handed, but we did find an obvious hiding spot for the cache.
Found on my way back home from a trip up to the riverland, enjoying the detour around the backroads of the mallee. Had a good search over, around and under, all to no avail, then stepped back and found the cache on the ground a couple of metres away. No idea how it got there, but replaced it in its likely spot. Thanks for the cache blackcat123!
Quick find on a return trip to this one!! Had been looking for a mint tin .... so the pic helped!! Thanks blackcat123 for the hide!!!
We were thinking that we might be a chance for FTF on this one but on opening up the log book we saw quite a few names already inscribed on it. Perhaps they just haven't had a chance to log it yet because of school holidays and the long weekend? Anyway, it was a quick and easy find for us. I'd have liked to have spent more time here looking around the area but it was hot and windy with dust blowing everywhere so not a very nice day to be hanging about. We'll have to return another time to investigate properly. TFTC
Quick find - thanks for the hint. We thought we would be the FTF but when we looked at the log quite a few people have visited & not logged their visit. Oh well.
An interesting location for a walk.

Went for a drive with Dad today and ended up here hoping for a FTF, but there were at least 3 names already in the logbook, but not yet logged online. For the 1st time he actually got out of the car and helped me search for the cache. Took a few minutes but I made the find in the end. I was surpised how green the area still was and the flowers along the entrance road looked lovely even though they are probably considered weeds. [^]
