Here for 2 nights for my nieces wedding today at 3.30. Thankfully a much cooler day. Just finished a game of disc golf nearby. Was here doing an AL so looked for this one but sadly couldn’t find it.

Lucy’s second find!!!!! She is doing so well! My little girl is growing up
Quick find careful to take out the log unravel to find it full- enjoying a walk around tftc
Just finished the Adventure Lab around the live music venues of town & found ourselves taking this route back to the car. Loving the interesting architecture around the city. Couldn't quite work out why there was a church within the theatre garden? Maybe it's not a church just looks similar. Very quiet around here, after some conjecture about where gz might be, J put his hand up somewhere & there is was. Yay! ??
Log quite full now, just squeezed our initials in.

Today was the start of my little journey outback for a few days. While I’m not in a hurry, I do have a list of caches that I do want to collect along the way and probably some extras as I pass by. It won’t be hard to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day challenges for the next few days, I am also hoping to pick up a few new challenges along the way and some target caches too.
My journey sees me stopping in Toowoomba for a day and a night stay. While walking around completing the new adventure lab I came across this one. There was no one around but still it was dark and I needed a torch to find the little blitter. Just the same it was an easy find with the help of the hint.
All good with this cache and with it found and log signed I returned it as found, thanks for placing it here now to continue on.

Nice easy grab after lunch on what is a gorgeous winter day! In company with _hitam and SilverSpirit1310 who grabbed this one a few weeks earlier!
I was out caching around the area today, headed toward my target 5000th cache with my youngest and my bestie, Burdons5. We thought we'd try to collect a few smilies in town on our way through. After a bit of a wander to let the numbers settle, the obvious sign presented itself and the cache was soon in hand. Tftc WallabyWanderers!

27/6/20 Find #3802
NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, and I were in Toowoomba for the weekend. Having grabbed dinner, it was still early and we decided to find a few more caches before retiring for the night.
NyssaFlutterby wanted to head here for this one as she had fond memories of seeing one of her favourite artists, Kate Miller-Heidke here. So it was decided, and it wasn’t long before we pulled up outside and headed over.
The girls overshot the mark a little, heading around the corner, while I headed in instead. It won’t be in there says Nyssa, but I quickly spied the cache and called them over. Log signed as QQ for all of us (NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, and I).
This was quite pretty here at night, with the coloured lights and the quaint little building, along with the character of the signpost blending with these surrounds. It made for some rather nice photos.
Thanks for the cache angloj.

After a bite to eat in town for dinner wombles, 1MinnieMoo and I decided to find a few caches on the way back to our accommodation.
I suggested this one as I’m a fan of the Empire. Loved seeing Kate Miller-Heidke play in the little old church a few years ago.
Arriving at GZ we enjoyed the light show of different colours in the trees as we searched for the teeny beasty. It didn’t take long for 1MM to have the container in hand.

The great migration north is almost over and the Grand gCAV has earned a bit of TLC. So we are without transport and relying on human power to get around. This was the nearest cache and a quick find to geoP; now off to find her some caffeine.

Finally! Woo hoo. I've been keeping this at the top of my Toowoomba pile ever since a replacement cache was announced in March. So happy to have added my scribble to the log, and I may or may not have done a little happy dance because today I can turn that frown around.
Thanks to COs angloj & WallabyWanderers for placing & maintaining this cache. All good with log book and cache. Cheers.

As a local I used to frequent the Empire back in the 60’s when it was a cinema. We are doing all geocaches within walking distance from Laurel St where the campervan is being serviced then we’ll reluctantly leave this lovely city. Not sure why I ever left. Thanks for the cache.
Brilliant little cache! It was difficult not to look suspicious with all the muggles (and police people for some reason) fluttering about, which added a pleasing level of difficulty.

Out and about in between soundcheck and performance and , waddayaknow, a cache is smack bang on the corner of the Empire grounds. And in good nick, too! A quick CIH, SL and stealthy return . Not a soul in sight. TFTC
Hi there WallabyWanderers. Today was just a tourist day around Toowoomba. This cache was a quick find along the way and the container and the log are dry and quite useable. SL, TN, LN. Thanks to WallabyWanderers for this cache - our find #6722.
Picking up two more caches in CBD after completing a WIG
Not a muggle in sight and a quick log before moving to the next cache
Thank you for hiding

Had a good look round, under and felt right the way round/under/up and me thinks this one has gone ..
Okay, this one has defeated me officially defeated me on 2/8/18; 19/9/18; & 20/9/18. Have reached out to co for an extra nudge in the right direction so hopefully at some point I can come back for another go.
Despite the low muggle presence I was unable to find the cache. People in the logs are saying it is an easy quick find but I spent about 20 min looking for it.
Had been out to try this one earlier but just couldn’t get the find so came back again for one last go before heading home. Must have been the prayers as we found it rather quickly. Lovely quiet Sunday afternoon. Kutgw
Many memories of the old Theatre when I used to live in Toowoomba

I'm a little embarrassed to say that we caught an uber 700 metres from out hotel to the Encores at the Empire restaurant. We'd had a few drinks before but the main reason we caught a lift was because some high-heels were involved. In fact when I requested the uber the car was only 1 minute away and we had to race down from our apartment to the roadside. I think the heels got kicked off for that part.
We hooked into a bit of fine dining in a highly recommended restaurant. You know when there are only 5 mains on the menu that they must do them well and they do. It's a pricey feed but we were up for some hob-snobbery on our getaway weekend on the hill. Great service and our teenage daughter couldn't believe she kept being called ma'am. The only negative was that cocktails had just been taken off the menu. Poo shiggles!
From Chardonnay Pinot Noir to beer to Shiraz and finally Sauvignon Blanc you could imagine we were pretty happy and it was good to be out caching on the turps again. Drunk caching is always fun in moderation. Its right up there with casino caching and nude caching.
We had just been sitting in the restaurant so we knew they couldn't see out and with no one on the streets we dug in for gold. After signing the log I was too worried to order an uber home so I made my daughter kick of the heels and walk back in her stockings. I think I promised to buy her a new pair. tftc

Haha turns out I'm not the only one to make the most of a low-muggle day and find a couple of normally tricky caches! Found nice and quick, thanks for this cache angloj.
I remember attending a graduation ceremony here! Visting Toowoomba for the ascilite confernce. TFTC
Out for an early morning walk and this was the only one of four caches that I managed to locate. Happy dance I didn't get arrested here
There were a few muggles around as the farmers markets were on today, but we managed to get it without any notice. Tftc
Here for our sons first Eisteddfod band performance so thought we would sneakily do this one.
