Having found the nearby Glenloch Gorge cache, I was walking back to my car, and I wondered if there were any other caches in the area. Indeed there were! This was one of them This was an interesting location. What I found more wondrous than the wall was the tree in the attach photograph! It's still alive despite the earth having eroded away from underneath it Anyhoo, thanks for the cache, Tankengine.
Find # 1265931/8/2024 After attending the climbing event, it was time to head to collect a few TE caches around the area in the company of Joolay and KittyKatch Only one DNF in the middle of the river despite three pairs of keen eyes. Oh well, the rock hopping was fun!Later in the afternoon I headed off in a solo adventure to find even more TEs that the others had already found. A mixture of and made for a successful afternoon. Glad to get my tally of Tankengine caches up a little! Thanks Tankengine for Wondrous Wall IV
Plans for the day had been caboshed due to inclement weather but then it turned out nice enough to be outdoors, so I thought I would get in a caching wander around the Arboretum whilst it was nice. Then it stayed nice and as I was looking for a way to get out of what I *should* have been doing I continued on to some further caches around the Aranda Grassy Woodland reserve. Most found easily. It was perhaps harder to spot the 'wall' here rather than the cache.
Interesting spot. But very swampy around here. I wonder if this low height wall was more about water management rather than stock control. Thanks for the cache TS
Decided to grab a quick cache after finishing work on a hot summer's day. Walked over from the interchange carpark in my long work clothes and high vis shirt. Spotted a bird watcher who must've thought I was doing official ranger business. There were tasty native raspberries near GZ at this time of year.
Fairly quick find at the wall but I had to negotiate ants crawling all over the cache. I haven't taken much notice of this decrepit structure, but I've run across it many times on my training runs and while orienteering, and I've probably run right past the cache! I'll be able to spot it from now on.
Thanks Tankengine

Good coordinates had me right on the spot. Some grass, some kangaroos, some mud, then a wondrous wall. Thanks Tankengine for the cache.
What a weird spot and a peculiar wall to find in the middle of the bushland. A lovely cache nice and easy to find. Log is almost full. TFTC
We decided to use our one hour of exercise to grab a few caches. We headed to this little forest and found 7 caches with no DNFs. It was a lovely walk and we hardly saw anyone else.
This was the first one so our caching eyes were just warming up. Even so, it was a fairly quick find once we found the wall (or what claims to be a wall).

Came out this way with conr86 to make a few finds in the area, thanks for the fun
Great couple of events today and then a walk with Aquilus1 around the Aranda bushlands picking up caches. So nice to do this again.
No issues with any finds today, except my tallest tippy-toes wasnt quite enough on a few of them.

Slightly humid day. What an adventure. Found it, and had a great time.
Thanks
Also April fools on the ftf!

As the GPS bounced I danced around this one for far too long. Then I noticed that I dropped my pen somewhere. Photo proof was sent to the CO. TFTH
Found with Joolay and Isopeda after the event. Nice quick find glinting in the sun. Tftc
Found with Barb2e and Joolay after the CITO today.
That really is a wonderous wall. I wonder if it was just for a dam or there was a road here at some stage.
TFTC - it was glinting in the sun.

Found with Isopeda and Barb2e after the CITO at Aranda. Cool place to visit. I wonder what the wall was for. TFTC Tankengine
Yet another strange part of Canberra! Not as wondrous as some other walls but interesting nonetheless. Thank you for bringing us here, Tankengine!
I’m guessing that this is the edge of an old coach road and I don’t suppose that’s a particularly original guess thanks for bringing me here always interesting to see these things
Nooooo! I went hunting for my daily with this cache, and didn't read the description beforehand...after finding it, I was hoping you were going to tell ME what it was for!!! TFTC!
What a peculiar thing! This wall is about as flat as the Oasis song. But I enjoyed the walk down here. Thanks for the cache Tankengine.
Yes not sure what this wall is here for. After a few mins spotted it ok. Thanks
A walk in an area that I haven't been to for a few years. Once nibletricecakes and I had decided on the best approach, this one was quickly found. TFTC tankengine.
A groggy kind of day so thought we would try a relaxing afternoon walk to wake things up a bit. Our first approach lead to an impassable animal graveyard so we decided to swing round another way. Success this time and GLISS! soon had the cache in hand. This would be such a peaceful reserve if not for all the traffic. A lovely little meander though may not have fully done the trick.. an afternoon nap may still be in order! TFTC
Headed into Canberra with fitzy_1965 for an event on the proviso that I could pick up a couple of Jasmers that I've had solved for a while.
On our way to the next Jasmer, we stopped here to I could add to my TE total. Quick find here once I found the path through the bushes and into the open.

Another find in the WW series .

It's hard to think what this wall would have been built for: maybe a water diverting device at some stage? The container was right on the coordinates, but took me a couple of minutes to actually find. TNLN, TFTC.
Out for a pleasant walk on a lovely Sunday afternoon with the older geoson. It's good to get out of the house and out exploring. We parked nearby so naturally this one had to be found. Once we discovered the wall, it only took a little search around before we had CIH. TFTC
Visited a few caches in this area this afternoon. Yes - very low!
Found OK and all good.
Thanks,

Thanks,
This had been on my radar for some time and as I drive past it frequently I really should've popped by to get it earlier. But today was the day and after work still in shirt and tie with the days getting long enough for some after work caching off I went. It's only a short walk from where u can park until arrival at the wall. I really should've read the description more closely as this was not the type of wall i pictured at all. The hint was helpful as there were only a few likely spots and soon I had CIH. Tftc Tankengine and bringing me to another interesting site.
Very small and camouflaged. My 8 year old had a tough time with this one!! - #Haslams

Arrived at GZ.. expecting a bit of a bush bash, but nah.. it was not too bad - Followed the roo trails and arrived at the wondrous wall.. which um.. hmmm
Oh, like Rabbit's Retreat.. something was glinting in the sun!
And the Bison on a TTTT (Tradermark TE Tether) was quickly found
TFTC TE!

I arrived early for the Monday evening Omnia walk to Mt Painter which gave me the opportunity to seek out 9 geocaches in the Aranda Bushland Reserve, of which I found 8. This cache was a straightforward find, being on the coordinates and glinting in the late afternoon sun. I was at a loss to explain how I missed it on a previous visit. Thank you Tankengine for installing and maintaining this cache.
Out caching with Legocacher and MockingJay. Took me a moment to realise it was a wall and not more rocks. TFTC.
Our last geocache for the day and an interesting wall... I too wonder what it originally was for... TFTC.
Lower and less substantial than I expected, making an easier find. TFTC Tankengine.
Went for a walk today after caching for 11hours straight. I was bushed getting this cache
Found after work, as per usual these days. Snooped around a bit, then spotted the container. TFTC TE
