Cant find but also theres been a lot of tree branch pruning been done of the lower branches
21 April 2024 8:08 amAccidentally stopped here today - up for work and I wanted to pull over somewhere to check what caches were in my work area....turns out one within metres of where I parked. I had a bit of a check (high, and low) but couldn't find it today. I was a bit hesitant to search leaf litter or climb though as I'm in my work clothes and I don't think my client would appreciate me rocking up bedraggled with sticks poking out of my hair.If the rain doesn't get any heavier, I might come back through on my way home
Took us ages to find as we were looking in the trees, but it was on the ground, must have fallen down in the storms!
We had been babysitting our niece for the last 3 nights and drove up to Caloundra to let her free back on her parents. When I say we had been babysitting, what I really mean is that Mrs Woodyrothwell had done all the work and I just tag-teamed in when a drunken uncle was needed for a few cheap laughs. After stopping in for a coffee and dropping off the lode, we were keen to see what caches were nearby to add value to the drive up from Redcliffe. We had actually driven to GZ before because it was so close but there was a plumbers convention on at the water tower. We spied a pen in a tree but no cache. We checked all the others before returning to find the hide on the ground. We replaced it where the pen was and we were off and sweating already. tftc
Cache container makes you feel a little sleepy. You will have to find it to know what I mean.
Took a few moments out of the trip south after a long run north. We were a bit stumped to start with but the Princess suggested we change direction and BINGO, there she be TFTC from the Jester Kiwi and the Princess
Took a few minutes to find the right tree due to gps bouncing around but really easy once there. TUFTC.
Took advantage of an extended weekend trip up the coast. Out and about and caching with RoddyC Princess 1005 MummaBear66.Not sure where the coffee is!TFTCache mariomofo9000
Hatzofff and I are around Caloundra for a few nights. This is our final day before heading home this afternoon. Found a small size cache which has apparently replaced the regular size in June this year. Happy to have a Smiley. Log signed and cache replaced as found at 11:09 AM on October 25, 2023. TFTC, mariomofo9000
After another lovely evening at the Caloundra music festival enjoying,Spiderbait, 1927 and arrested development it was our last morning on the coast. Packed up the van and headed to Moffat for a big breaky and then off for. Spot of caching.Found a suitable spot to park the car and took a short stroll to ground zero where it did not take long ro spy the prize. Extracted the log and signed my name for prosperity, returning the cache to its safe hiding place before returning to the geowagon . Ready to head to the next find.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachersCheers
might need to be looked by owner as not sure if in right spot as it wasn’t really hidden and lower than i thought it would be. Alcohol cans around tree as well so maybe someone got to it.
Found it real easy - wasn’t really hidden - contacted owner to get it checked out.
I made a last minute decision to head up to the Sunnie Coast for the day with a vague plan to tackle a couple of puzzles requiring me to load up Renaldo with more tools than the average tradie hilux…
The weather sabotaged that plan which meant I spent the day between Baringa and Meridan Plains caching up a storm…
As mentioned by others this cache is in a sad state… so I returned to the car and grabbed a throw down container to leave with a new bagged log…
I left the remnants in place should the CO decide to visit…
Thanks mariomofo9000

I was driving past this geocache when I thought I'd slightly detour and stop. A reasonably quick find, and the cache is starting to show its age as it is just a bag and a few scrappy logbooks. Thanks mariomofo9000 for the cache hide and ongoing maintenance.
----------
Today, with the Caloundra lunch event scheduled, it was an opportunity to take the kayak and paddle one of Sunshine Coast's rivers, subsequently Paynter's Creek was selected.
Whilst travelling north, I firstly stopped in Woombye for a couple of oldies and high Favourite Point geocaches, and then proceeded east to then kayak Paynter's Creek. Following the scenic and tranquil kayak, I proceeded south towards Caloundra grabbing a pie along the way and attended the Kings Beach [Rescheduled: Canuck in Caloundra - Meet & Greet](https://coord.info/GCA6MBY) event. With my remainder of the afternoon, I continued to target a few geocaches around Caloundra, Baringa and Bells Creek, before returning home.
Adventure Labs completed:
• [A Wander Through Woombye](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/e03242dc-36f7-46e1-928f-46fad3ba8d66); and

Last find for the day and unfortunately this one is now just a ziplock bag with half a container and log sheet inside. I found it on the ground so after signing my life away I placed it where I thought it should go.
Cheers

Log could do with a overhaul, it’s pretty much just a plastic bag with a bit of paper in.

Easy find but it's all water damaged it needs a new zip lock bag so if your heading this way bring one with you, also the last person left some paper sheets on the ground
found this cache years ago and used to be able to spot it driving past. checked to log it and was not where it used to be. needs maintenance
Container is broken. Log is wet. Maintenance required. But thanks for the cache.
Found cache all over the ground with only lid and log pages. Needs replacing urgently.
Lid found in tree in plain sight. Ziplock bag found on the ground. As previously mentioned, there is no bottom for the container. Not sure how long this one will still be here. TFTC
We had left home in Moreton Bay area to get to the Sunny Coast for the pre-Christmas event from the Wesso Family in Baringa. We had an awesome event with new caches, lots of food, fun and chats.
After leaving the event, we continued caching for a while.
This was our No. 16 today and we signed the log. Unfortunately, only the lid is still there, but the container is missing. We messaged the CO.

This was the 1st ever one we found years ago . Was good to see it was still here. It needs a new container as it does not have anything to keep it dry and isn’t hidden very well. Found straight away. Didn’t take anything but left thong key ring.
Thanks for this find! We brought along our 9 year old nephew and he loved seeing all the swaps left.
Unfortunately though this cache needs a new container. It looks like someone has picked everything up and placed it on a flat piece of wood nearby the co-ordinates, spotted by the lid.

Found it but it had previously been smashed. Someone else kindly restarted it
mariomofo9000 I found your cache Coffee Lover on 22/3/2022, 1:05 pm. This is my find 3337 and find # 9 today. After a brief search soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
GREAT! Went here at night and found an ant surprise! Didn't bring a pen and paper tho
It seems that you get a Friday mid-morning let out from work and a mate needs help. We had to drive to Caloundra for some parts to his bike. This was convenient for me, I said I will need to do a couple of caches in this area. Sweet, a short interesting walk around here and we had the cache in hand. This one needs so love.
I got a photo of the log and replaced as found and moved onto the next one in the area. Thanks for the hide and bringing me here.
