Had an extensive scratch about in the leaf litter up and down the fenceline, but no luck.

Maybe a serious case of cache blindness but this one eluded us today. Will return if a confirmed find is made. Did find a very large deceased pelican close to gz, now that's something you don't see everyday! Tfth angloj xo

School holidays - the oldest child has saved up enough money to buy a metal detector. We are now on a mission to visit as many parks as possible looking for some coin!
Ok I say - there's a cache in this park we haven't found yet either! Big Grin

While he didn't find any money here, we found a cache Smile At the next park we went to he found $3.10!!, but there was no cache to find for us there.

Hopefully we'll get this working together in sync - we find the caches and he finds the money. Maybe if we're all successful we can get an ice-cream [^]
Either way, his new hobby fits in with the family hobby so we're all happy Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Thanks for the cache angloj!

26-Feb-17
I was up this way for an event today. I had met up with IolantheK, Brother Colin and T-Tech and we had descended to Hell and back. I had some time to kill before the event and plenty of caches to find. (Unlike the others who have found most of the local caches).

This one lloked like a good spot to stop for my coffee and muffin. I had the park to myself, which made the hunt easy.

No worries finding this one. Left a TB.

21-Jan-17
Will cover it well when we leave it.

27-Nov-16
Although the cache was sitting out in the open it was in good condition and undisturbed. Perhaps it was due to the rabbits we spotted sitting right next to it. Don't see many rabbits in qld. The grass was also alive with little blue grey butterflies. Just as well the two galahs nearby are seed eaters.

27-Nov-16
Happily, no muggles playing nearby today, but there was a kind of Noah's Ark theme happening; as we walked toward the cache, two rabbits popped their heads up only a metre from GZ! Not a sight I see very often. The cache was fully exposed but we put cover over it after signing the logbook. Then we had a pair of blue butterflies accompany us as we walked back to the car, and a pair of galahs landed by the car. It ended up being a very sweet stop indeed! TFTC, angloj. =^.^=

Normally based in the United Kingdom, Team Luffness had made it over to Australia for family visit. We'd been fortunate to find "Wildlife Crossing" yesterday another angloj 'cache nearby, and we were keen to extend our daily streak. After yesterday's caching I wore decent shoes. Despite being Aussie born, twenty years in the UK has made me a bit nervous about hunting through dry leaf litter. Got there eventually, all OK.

#705 Thank you very much for the geocache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed the log. Personal trackable dipped for mileage. [^]

329th day of current streak. 49th geocache in Australia.

13-Feb-16
You could say we made this one a 'bit of a drive by'.... leave that to your imagination. The cache was well concealed but yielded itself to us on the first round of inspections. Loved the Penguin. A day of geocaching with my great mates Muff1. Not an early start, but we did start and finish. TNLN TFTC.

13-Feb-16
The penguin who is the cache guardian bought a smile to all our faces. With Speedmistress driving you can be guaranteed of some excitement. There is loads of good "stuff" in this cache. SL TNLN TFTC

Down for a family visit and after a tentative attempt at caching at picnic park with my phone (rather than my GPS) I didn't hold much hope finding one. Went for a wander down to this little park and was satisfied to clock a smiley before heading off. Thank you for a well equipped cache for kid's. I'll wander back with my pen.

25-Dec-15
Way to easy to find. It was out in the open. I left in the same spot only concealed well with the leaf litter.

Caching on a rainy day in Toowoomba with Team Benders Duo. We came to this one and almost went into the yard on the wrong side of the fence before we realised it was private property. Back to the parkland! Up and down we went, taking the hint too literally. Don't mix behind and in front of.

Found at 1.20pm on 2nd December 2015. TFTC.

On a family holiday from Victoria to Toowoomba to visit family, we decided to spend some time out caching. It would seem the rain has followed us from the south, as the walk in this little park was a bit on the wet side. After a quick search, we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC angloj

Find #1534

Having recently cached in Byron Bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane City & Logan we decided we would head west today & see what was on offer. Warrego Hwy & Toowoomba were the main area of interest so here we go ...

Pulled up to find a muggle (council worker) just starting his lunch break. Bugger!
Wait a minute! What's that? A hare just scampered out of the bush in the general vicinity of GZ.
Cameras out, snap, snap, click. Now we look like a couple of nature lovers. Move in closer to get better shots of the hare & what have we here? Someone's hidden something behind this tree! LOL ...
Quickly signed the log, dropped 2 x TBs & replaced as found.

TFTC angloj Smile

I was in Toowoomba Tuesday afternoon and found the outstanding ones including the one on the Bridge at Drayton. Left Toowoomba at 0500 on Wednesday and attacked 41 with NO DNF's down in the Lockyer Valley South of the Warrego Highway across to the Cunningham Highway and then down to West Moreton then Amberley then back to the valley then back to my motel in Toowoomba. Got back at 1800 after 656Klm of Driving in 12 hours and too tired to do any more.
Quick find on this one at 0500 today with three big Kangaroos for company. Left trackable. TNSL.

Sitting at home trying to decide which cache to get today to fill in the calendar...if any because it is so hot!!...when this one drops into my inbox. And it is less than 1km from home. Perfect publishing time with enough leeway to grab it before school pickup. Heaps of great swaps for the young cachers too...shame I didn't have mine but I couldn't wait as there was an *FTF* up for grabs Big Grin. Thanks angloj.
