Parked not too far away and wandered up the track to GZ where I found the nicely hidden cache and collected the Clue. Thanks HeliKelli for placing the cache, looking forward to completing the series.
Good spot. I saw some bull ants, but they wont do harm unless you harm them. Either way, loved the view!
With an hour or two to kill, Geo-Dad and Geo-Son decided to head to Boronia to clear up our unfound caches in the area. This was the fifth and final one for the afternoon, a nice quick find once the GPS settled. Tftc
Log nice and dry, but outside container a bit damp inside. Late night find. Tftc.
So this is where the glutes started to suffer. Little did I know that there would be a lot more to come. Some of these sections are very steep. Straightforward cache find although I did almost miss it with the camouflage.
After I got out of bed today, I got back in some hours later and didn’t get out until quite late at night. So that meant I didn’t have too much time to get a cache to continue my streak.
Around 10:30ish I arrived at Boronia Junction and walked towards this cache. Made the quick find around 11, easy since the cache had been left out very exposed.
Log signed and replaced back in it’s spot.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the logbook nice and dry.

Thanks for the cache ._0, I'm on my way home from work I parked at the bottom of nyora track and walked up to the GZ. The weather report on the radio in the car suggested a rain band what's on it's way. Once I reached the spur and took in the view, I saw the said rain band on it's way, a quick sign of the log and I better hot foot back to the car. Halfway down the track concentrating on writing this report, I walked within spitting distance of the most friendly kangaroo I've ever met. I stopped and had a chat with him while he ate some grass.

I began this series when I started on the Dandenong Meanders, and I'm still slowly chipping away at it.
So tonight, after proving to myself that yes, you can fit a two man kayak in a Jazz (summer T5 shenanigans, here we come!), it was time to add to the tally while in search of the Holy Grail.
Thanks, HeliKelli. A nice quick find after another interesting drive to the edge of the forest. Now for a slightly longer, steeper trail...

TFTC - In the area and assisting with some cache maintenance with HeliKelli. Although I had to find it first.
Out doing a maintenance run today with kploz……making him find them first.
Cache container wiped out and a new logbook placed.
Happy hunting.

Didn't expect the hill to be so steep but upon the top the view was spectacular especially with the rain clouds and blue skies. TFTC and the view
Out with echidna44. A slow climb up the steep hill lead us to the cache. A quick search and we found the goods! Thanks HeliKelli.
I was working in The Basin again today and arrived early enough to search out a couple of caches beforehand. A short walk up the hill to find this one, nicely concealed. The outer and inner containers were a little damp, but the logbook is still pretty dry in its bag.
No view from here today due to being above the cloud base. Visibility only a few hundred metres.

After a (thankfully) short walk up a hill (the one thing I despise), I came across the cache quite quickly thanks to its logical location.
The logbook is quite soggy so may need replacing, but other than that, everything is contained within.
Now to walk back down to the car to find myself another cache for the day.
Great views from here also!

Walking with my mate thestorm_bringer today, we witnessed a lovely sunset walking up, tftc (._0) and helikelli!
Found it!! Having found a couple of nearby caches I stopped here to find the cache. A quick find in the glow of the evening light. I collected the clue for the final and thought whether I still had the clues from the other caches if the series. Mm, might have to do some revisiting. TFTC SL time to head home and pick up some takeaway Chinese food on the way!!
Doing the usual weekend climbs around the Dandenongs we set off for a late afternoon walk approaching One Tree Hill from the north-west rather than the oft-used more southern approach.
Just as we got back to the main road I realised there was one more cache to find. There's always one more !
I know nothing about Minecraft, although once I did have to google some stuff to solve a Minecraft-themed geo puzzle series around Lara. I've already forgotten it all and perhaps I'll have to do some googling again to craft some table grid for the final of this series, but fortunately none of that information was necessary to find this trad today.
A quick find using the hint.
Thanks, HeliKelli.

A shorty hard (steep… but what don you expect here) climb and a very easy find…on the ground, looks like an animal may have scratched it out.
We replaced as best we could where it belonged.

Out and about in the Hills for work today I decided to stop and see if there was a cache nearby. Thankfully this was only 100m from where I had parked the car so I did a sneaky cache on my way to the next site. This is the second in this series that I've found and thankfully I remembered to take a photo of the clue.
GZ was a nice spot on this track and I'll need to come back one day to explore it further. The cache was nicely dry in the inner container, however that container was floating in some water in the outer one. I tipped it out and covered it a bit better after signing the log, so hopefully it stays a bit drier next time
Thanks for the cache!!

We needed to drop into Crustyvarmint’s place to check out his van that needs a little work, and he very nicely offered to drop us off at a point so that we only needed to walk downhill. He took our car so he could still grab a cache, then would pick us up when we had completed our target caches. An offer too good to refuse.
This was the last cache on our list and thankfully was only a short distance walk up a hill. The cache was soon uncovered, the outer container full of water, however, the inner & logbook are fine. Clue collected, it was now time to ring our chauffeur for him to pick us up.
Thank you HeliKelli for this enjoyable series.

Found at the turnaround point of my walk that began at the bottom of the 1000 Steps.
Now to get that heart rate up again!

Easy first find for an afternoon walk around the lower slopes of the Dandenongs. Thanks for the cache.
With my mate Snakey96 on the hunt tonight but now we've found this we're mist excited for a midnight scooter ride down the hill and home
Beautiful walk, steep, so a good workout. A bit damp inside container, tried to dry out a bit
Perfect day calm and sunny Perfect company with echidna44. Perfect activity, caching. So here it was round and round the mountain in the geovehicle before footing it up more of the hill to this cache Thanks Mark&Kelly
Out with au.fait, we had a slow but successful day. The sun was shining and we walked and talked as we cached. This was an easy find.
Thanks Mark & Kelly
Thanks Mark & Kelly
We were very close to another cache and decided we had to stop by.
Unfortunately we haven't collected any of the other clues.
Thanks Mark&Kelly for giving us another reason to visit this great area.
Chiefton!!!

Out for a morning walk and a cache to keep the streak alive. Working from home has its perks, as all the caches near work and home have now been found, I need to expand the search area to keep my streak alive. This was an easy find - but a tough walk. TFTC!
Not an obvious get-to. I walked a way. All is well with the cache. Thanks Mark and Kelly.
With my wife off on a long run, I had a few hours to spare and thought I would collect a number of caches in this area that took my fancy.
I walked up this strap hill with easy, however it was still strenuous enough to get me breathing heavy and hot on the early morning. After quickly finding the geocache, a mountain bike rider raced down here at speed.
The outer container has water inside it, but the inner one and the log are both fine.
Thanks for the cache (._o) in the care of Mark&Kelly

Needed to attempt to keep my streak going and this wasn't far from where we were today. Thanks for the cache.
Happy palendromic date day! Getting some exercise running through the hills today and this is my first stop. Tftc
At my family Christmas party down the bottom of the hill a short walk away, I am currently doing a streak so needed one today! I got a couple of my cousins to come along, they brought their dogs. So we ventured up the hill, with weary legs and over-full stomachs. Some of the houses along the walk were pretty cool, and had amazing views! This was a nice easy cache to introduce the cousins to, it was a very quick find.
I have found a few of this series now, I need to go through my photos to see if I have enough info for the final.

TFT and a nice walk after my job interview in Boronia. Found cache on the floor but replaced the spot into a more efficient way. Hope that's okay. Only a bit watery which is fine after last found two months ago. Nice walk and I even found a little coffee table on the side of the road which I'll take back home to Melbourne eastern suburbs.
Brisk short walk, tried to find this on the weekend but came at it from a different angle today. Picked up my first geocoin.
Great idea for a cache series. Left a geocoin that has originated in Germany, and found in NEw Zealand. I am visiting Melbourne for a couple of weeks. Thank you.
Not sure why this was not logged but here’s the log I wrote! On a mission before I leave Melbourne to find a clutch of caches in this little pocket of the forest. Have not been here for donkeys years. Not sure I covered ground in the most efficient way but had grabbed the MT bike and managed most of the hilly country. Nice to be back after a few decades. All caches found quickly enough. TFTC and series. I’ll be back!
Went out for this cache today. Of course I parked in the wrong street and had a much harder walk than I should have. Anyway, located and signed the log. tftc.
A quick find here after watching and listening to the Kookaburras.
Tipped out the water, signed the log and replaced.
Thanks

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy
Tipped out the water, signed the log and replaced.
Thanks

I originally found this cache with my Mum heymissjo, but now that I have my own account, I am logging. Thanks for the cache.
For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.
#190 find, what a beautiful walk with an amazing view, took trackable and left a swag. TFTC
Very close to where we parked the car. But the find came at the end of our 4km wander TFTC - need a nap to recover now
Found in cold, wet blustery conditions as myself and a dozen brave muggles braved the cold to hunt for wildflowers (to look at and photograph, please never pick or did them up!!). My fingers were just about dropping off as I signed the log, while the muggles were sufficiently distracted vy the small colony of Mountain Greenhoods nearby. If you find this cache, please look underfoot! Orchids are VERY close by. TFTC!
I always get creeped out coming into places like this at night - all sorts of animal noises and stuff touching your legs. But it had to be done, I had decided I needed to finish off this series and it needed to happen tonight! Quick and easy find thanks to the hint, TFTC!

Out for caching day with crank1 on a perfect weather. Nice and found. Thanks Mark&Kelly for the cache.
On a hot Thursday afternoon right at the end of November I climbed the perilous track in sandals watching for big wriggly monsters. The search ended with a victorious find, the code towards the final discovered and treasure returned to its quiet resting place ready for the next adventurer to beat their way to this beauteous place.
11 year old Geokid was navigating and took us up one road which didn't get us any closer. We decided to turn around and head in from another angle which took us close enough to walk a short distance from the car. Soon cache was in hand. Lovely view from up here. TFTC
Following the track around we marveled at the oncoming hill. We were rather pleased with the chance to stop and enjoy the view from here. Once we had signed the log and rested the already weary legs we continued the ascent to the next one.
TFTC.

During the deathly cold chill of winter, this geocacher tends to hibernate much like a bear. However with the onset of spring and the air perfumed with floral scents, this cacher has emerged from his cave and renewed the hunt for geocaches once again.
Teaming up with 4evatinks, we proceeded to find a few caches in the area and this was find #2 for the night after dinner at Boronia. We drove up the windy roads and soon found ourselves on ungraveled road with four trails before all dimly lit by a lone street light - three with gates and another a continuation of the road leading off somewhere. Reminded me alot of "the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe" mixed together with Harry Potter.
Anyway, we figured out which trail we were to head up so did a U-turn, parked alittle down and then walked up towards GZ. My GPS was wayyyy off, something in the order of 22m whilst 4evatinks was spot on! She quickly spotted the cache thanks to the hint and the natural camo having fallen off the container. We proceeded to complete our signing duties. The outside container had some water in it (which we emptied) and logbook was damp though didn't interfere with writing. After noting the clues, we put some better natural camo over it and returned to the trail.
Unfortunately, that is when things went rather pear shaped for my buddy. The slope down to the trail was uneven and rather steep. Rather than using the law of slow and steady, she had trusted in the laws of gravity and momentum. Great in theory but unfortunately her legs couldn't keep up and she fell rather heavily (( She scrapped her knees badly but I was thankful she was wearing jeans and could still walk!! We returned to the car and contemplated whether we should call it a night... An eventful find! Thanks CO & Mark&Kelly for looking after this cache.

Out with Robinyang. This one will be a memory and reminder of the impact of gravity...especially in the dark. Our gpsrs were strangely about 14m different so Robinyang had stopped before me. He read out the clue and i noticed the relevant gz. Climbed up the slope and found the cache p partially exposed. I signed the log and we rehid the cache making sure it was totally hidden.
As i was returning down the slope i made the silly decision to take it fast rather than slow. I lost my balance and fell quite hard on my knees and shins. Suffice to say a few deep scrapes and grazes on one knee and a 20cm patch of grazing on the other leg. Think this will be bruised and red for a few days.
Remember peeps...gravity always wins. Yet

oh, very nice container! Loved the crafting table - good to see one in real life after wasting entirely too many hours of using the virtual crafting tables in-game. Abby would've loved this one - if only I could get her back out in the great outdoors. TFTC!
A nice early walk around the Dandenong Ranges National park with Clint. The weather wasn't too bad considering when we arrived there was heaps of rain and lightning which stopped before we set out.
(thankfully). Last cache for the day and an interesting one. We will need to get the geokids to complete this one. Cache in good order.
Found by Team Justice #1617.

Found while on a stroll from One Tree Hill....now for the climb back up. Tnsl, good views of city up-hill from here.

This was a tough cache to leave for our last find of the day. The Mini-Welders were hot and bothered after a long day and the climb up to GZ was causing some dissension in the ranks. At the mere cost of a piggy back for The Green Minion, we were at GZ. Emeylo just beat TGM to the find while Dynamo was busy catching millipedes, lol.
As is typical with my luck, I can find myself a million miles from anywhere and as soon as I reach for a cache (or put one back) muggles suddenly materialise out of the ether! Today it was 2 sweaty, red in the face elderly gents with walking poles coming down the hill just as Emeylo returned the cache. Fortunately they were seemingly too preoccupied with their own exertions to notice us today. I'd be pleased to be so fit at their age...
Thanks again (._o). We're really enjoying this series.

Found while walking up and down tracks in the Dandenongs, looking for DM caches and other ones nearby. Great sunny day for a walk in these lovely hills.
