I DNFs here at the start of the year as the cache appeared to be missing. Very happy to change my sad face into a yellow smiling one today. Dropped trackable.
Love the new cache. Have picked up a few now in this series and will keep chipping away until complete.
This was a quick easy find in a cute Russian doll style hide. Basin Theatre Group put on some impressive performances for enthusiasts out there too! TFTC
Great cache with log book in a plastic bag, inside a small container, then inside another container. Nice and dry. Tftc.
Thanks for the cache Helikeli, what a nice container, doubly safe from the rain. A caution to following Cachers, they have just redone the garden so tread lightly. And I scored a FTF (RL) (Replacement Log). It must be a thing eh?

I can confirm recent landscaping has caused the cache to go missing. Will do up a replacement and get it out there soon
I suspect I know where it should be, but was unsuccessful.
Recent landscaping may be the culprit or maybe I simply didn’t find GZ

As a surprise to my 98yo mother I headed up the hills to visit this iconic theatre. With my father they had visited many times and enjoyed the plays performed. So you can imagine my surprise when we arrived to find this cache with history. On reading the description, I was advised that "I new Edna, she was a great lady". Thanks (.o) and HeliKelli for keeping this cache in play, and giving us memories to share.
first GC of the day didn't know this theater existed, can we fill the chest with cobblestone? (Minecraft ref) tftc (._0) & helikelli
Quick easy find close to work while on the mountain bike, on mission to get some local caches. Tftc
Visited cache again as I had lost the photo of the clues for the last cache of the series

Out for our exercise on this lovely sunny Melbourne day. There was a Muggle tradie nearby but he wasn't taking any notice of us and we were able to make a quick easy find. The logbook was very wet but we were still able to sign and there was water in the containers which we emptied out. TFTC and bringing us to this great spot.
Had to drop elder son to an appointment nearby, and managed to drag younger son off Minecraft to help find a few caches, including a couple in this series.
Relatively quiet here today on this damp afternoon, and the cache was soon located in a likely spot.
The cache was as damp as the day, which wasn't surprising since neither the outer container, the inner container, or the Ziploc bag for the logbook were closed properly.
Signed the damp logbook without difficulty, and dried the bag as best we could before closing it up securely and rehiding.
The clue was intact.

Quick find on a sunny afternoon but cache is badly waterlogged. Managed to sign but it needs some attention. Thanks.
OK, this is a bit tragic, but I now have a bunch of draft logs that are up to two months old. My plans of writing entertaining and informative tales for each one, illustrated with terrific photos, have become a bit ambitious. I will embellish where I can, and come back to some later, but will have to make do with generic logs for now.
Of course, this is not to disregard the appreciation I have for those who have placed and maintain each of these caches. I love youse all. TFTC

Not sure why I had left this one on the back burner.. it was a quick find in a logical hiding place .. unfortunately the outer container was full of water but the inner container was sort of ok .. the log was damp but able to be written on .. I think I only have a couple more MINECRAFT caches to find .. I hope I can find my photos of clues when the time comes. Thanks (._o) for placing the cache and Mark&Kelly for looking after it
On the way home form work, it was too hot to do any harder caches so this was a nice quick stop. The cache container had a little bit of water in it, as did the container inside that, and the logbook was wet, although I was able to sign it.
Quick find, log book drenched. Had trouble writing our names in the log but we’ve done the best we can.
Only a couple to go in this fab series. Other two will need to wait until another day. Tftc
And a fourth for the night! Making careful note of the figures in the caches, we hope they will help us finish the series. Tftc
A nice quick find here after spending a while in a wood stack up the road. Thanks Mark&Kelly
Wow, when I looked at this location on the map I assumed this was bushland - I had no idea there was a theatre out here! Grabbed the cache, the clue and the hint and was on my way, TFTC!

Fun, walk thru the bush, search.
Found it.
Thanks Mark&Kelly

Out for caching day with crank1 on a perfect weather. Nice and found. Thanks (._o) and Mark&Kelly for the cache.
Another for the series! Thanks for the great hide - the double container is keeping the log dry! TFTC
TFTC. We are enjoying the few of this series we have found. Geohusband’s Dad was a member of the nearby theatre group and so he has spent a lot of time here in his youth!
We didn't complete this series in numerical order but I understand now that maybe we should have. Quick find, clue's collected and off we went to the next one. TFTC
Maintenance check after a few cachers said the logbook was wet.......we always appreciate the feedback. Taking home for some TLC and will be back in play soon.

Find # 499
Back in this area today chasing all of this series to take us to 500 caches.
Even with all the layers unfortunately this one is a bit damp. We're getting really really hungry now!
9 down, 1 to go.

Hubby was working at the theatre and we had to exchange car and geogirl so i thought i would check my friend's cache. The first container had water in it as the pen enclosed was down the side and not on top, causing the container to be open. Drained and replaced. Needs to be wiped out.
It was a dark and stormy night (~10:30pm), but an easy find here.
No one around when I drove up, and I paused to don my raincoat. It was quite wet.
Went off into the dark trying not to get my phone too wet, and I very quickly spotted what I thought would be a good place for the cache.
It was there, so I extracted, signed, photographed the clue, and returned it, then drove off into the rainy night.
Thanks for the cache.

Grabbed this one so I could perhaps solve the Minecraft final puzzle someday. I'm not sure if I've been recording the clues correctly from the earlier finds! I think I might have overlooked the icons and just recorded the numbers. I'll have to check my notes and see what I can come up with.
Find #1022
After quite an adventurous outing walking/caching around this area I finished off the day with this one. I had actually parked pretty much next to GZ but with running and cycling muggles around the retrieval was not possible. Fastforward a few hours and I had the place to myself. Getting closed to finding all of this series... now where did I write down the information needed? TFTC!

I had heard of The Basin Theatre but never knew where it was actually located - until now.
This classic drive by was a nice simple find for the Mini-Welders. Emeylo dashed out retrieved the cache. Took a bit of engineering to fit the pen back in!
We dropped off a Travel Slug.
Thanks (._o) We are very much enjoying your well 'crafted' series.

Third minecraft cache for the day and another great one to send the kids off to find themselves. Looks like we have the key for the solution - just have to find the rest of the clues
It's raining but luckily I was able to park right at GZ and sign the log. That's all nine I've found, now I just need to figure out how to solve the final
I've been in this neighbourhood before when seeking Dandenongs Meander caches but when OHC kindly charted a course to here when I expressed interest in the MINECRAFT series (this is the second from which I've obtained a mystery clue) this felt like exotic territory. It was raining at the time so I consulted the hint even before leaping from the vehicle, which made for a mercifully brief search. The log was signed, the clue was noted and I lingered not. Thanks (._o) and Mark&Kelly!

Fitbit had deemed this Goal Day 2016, so I used that as an incentive to pick an area that I'd been meaning to get back to, and skirted around, for the past 2 1/2 years. In the meantime, the Dandenongs Meander series has doubled in size to an even 100. The section directly below the antennae was where I'd begun the series, and I was keen to clear the last outstanding caches from the original fifty (except #2, which had been muggled when I logged its companions, and is currently offline due to this year's controlled burns).
Fourth visit of the day, this time, back outside the Park, near one of the entrances I'd used on a previous visit. This looks like a fun series; I'll have to bring my Minecraft mad child with me to do the rest.
Thanks, (._o).

Steve & Erin going on a weekend adventure to see what wonders lie upon our caching path )
Found this hide while out grabbing a few caches this afternoon, I had no troubles finding a park near the gz and it was a case of searching around a couple of possible spots before coming up with the goods. Thanks Vanessa&Aodh for the hide.
Found on our way back down the hill. The place was almost empty so we could take our time looking. Once found we left our mark in the log, took the info and headed back home.

Grabbed on the way home from the NP. This is a bonus for a day out with the Swaggies
Third one this morning on geosons 'sick day' we are on a mission to find all the Minecraft ones so he can go home and cook up something sweet.
It's a beautiful afternoon, so Crusty K9 and I went out for a couple of caches. tftc.
Out on my own today to enjoy this lovely area. Parked in the wrong spot to start with and a local stopped and asked me (nicley) to leave and advised me to park in the theatre area. It was very good of her. Not sure in what to expect here but no one was about this morning so it was a quick find. Just took photos and thought I would work it out later. I remember having tickets to this theatre years ago and could never find the place. Thanks Vanessa and Aodh, look forward to the rest of the craft to come.
Cache is in excellent condition.

This needs some maintenance. Thanks to the finders who let me know it needed fixing. Back soon.
out with my eldest daughter trying to fill my calendar. I had got a DNF down the road so i came here for a quick find. The log book is quite damp and the outer container had a little water which we tipped out grabbed the clue and we were on our way TFTC
No, I wasn't. The theatre is a great community project. Thanks for the cache Vanessa&Aodh.
Thanks for this cache. We haven't found any others so will have to do them out of order. A great activity for our mine craft fans!!
I was intending on staying home today and doing some work but then I was conversing with Day1976 via BookFace and a plan was hatched to grab a couple of caches whilst going for a walk. Where better to go than Warrenmate Hills Flora and Fauna Reserve.
Almost got all the clues now, one cache to revisit and I have a full sweep, but can I make sense of them.
Nice little hidey spot for a cache here, all in good order.
Thanks for placing this cache Vanessa&Aodh

My mate was down from Qld so I suggested a hike and introduce him to caching. This was the start of our journey and we made a quick find. Thanks Vanessa & Aodh for the cache.
