Good view from this cache even on an overcast day. Enjoyed after making sure that handbrake was firmly holding the car where I left it. TFTC HWD xx
Needed a bit of help from a friend for this one. Must have been a bit tired after our walk on the first attempt. TFTC HWD
After attending the Stinson 80th Anniversary event at Christmas Creek, it seemed only natural to pick up a few smilies while in the area and along the way back home .
Magnificent scenery, it makes you want to stop, take a look, and smell the roses. Took a few pics before making the grab.
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #3275. Thanks **Hot Wheels Duo** for bringing us here. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .

After the Stinson Event it was time to go caching - with a full yummy tummy.
I had a minor technical glitch where my data for the caches down this Valley got corrupted.
So with no description, hints or logs I hit the trail.
Someone's put some Private signs about 200m prior to this hide. They didn't look terribly legitimate to me.
My GPS zeroed out on a cow pat in the middle of the road!
Found in the third place I looked.

Stinson Weekend! Today is the Westray grave site walk in the morning and some afternoon caching as well. We found thirteen caches yesterday afternoon on our way to the camping grounds (although we are taking in more of the comfort of a cabin!)
On the afternoon of the second of our three days, we headed up Chingee Creek Road in search of the nine traditional geocaches there. What a fabulous spot this was for a view back along Chingee Creek valley. Wow! Favourite for the view.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 4.50pm on 17th February 2017. TFTC, Hot Wheels Duo.

Out for a little clean-up run with Goldielover and stairman 1. Thanks for the cache and the pleasant scenery along the way.
Found today after a DNF yesterday. We seemed to be a little more focused today and finally found the cache. Just as I found the stinging nettle plant right beside it. Ouch.

No luck here for goldielover Ruzzelz and I today. Maybe too hard for us after our big hike.
May a look another day.

Out for a caching day with Snickersallan, Jaid07 and Aussie Liahona. Weather conditions were perfect for searching and the scenery was unbelievable!
Fantastic views of the valley - thanks HWD.

It's such a pleasure finding caches in and around this magnificent countryside. Thanks for a neat hide Hot Wheels Duo and TFTC
Lovely views. This would have to be the biggest Nano I have ever seen. I wish they were all this big I might not have some many DNF's on them! The peace and quiet from here was still disturbed by Lincoln's snoring plus the beep beep beep of the electrical pole. No peace for the wicked! TFTC and for bringing us up this amazing road Hot Wheels Duo.
This one was a little surprise this one. Had a nice view down the valley. MM,HWD, JAT and I had a discussion about the table and chairs nearby that are apparently on private property but look very inviting to sit on...one chair is definitely facing the wrong way?
Thanks HWD
Thanks HWD
It sounds like humbug may have been drunk when he found this one. No table in sight ya goon, that was the last one.
This one the CO tried her best to get us as close as possible so we didn't have to get out but no such luck. The view was worth getting out for anyway.
Thanx for the guided tour HWD.

We were in the area to attend the "Christmas Creek - the Stinson Weekend" Event and with our campsite all set up, we thought we had finished for the day and were sitting around chatting when Hot Wheels Duo announced she had to go out to place a few new caches for the event and asked who wanted to go along with her. Well Mrs Just a Trifle didn't need to be asked twice and along with Monkey Maker and dahumbug, she headed off for a bit of caching along the way.
It didn't take long to find this cache and with our names in the log book, and after admiring the views in the fading light we were soon on our way again.
Thank you Hot Wheels Duo for having placed the cache for everyone to find.

A trip south was overdue so we thought today we'd hit the Christmas Creek Kerry area and, hopefully, pick up some extra smilies.
Another quick find here.
The views are certainly worth driving out here to see.
Signed, replaced & on our way!

Taking the new geo-mobile for a bit of a drive in the country. After a wander to J G Westray's grave I was now heading home.
"Just a few more" found me heading up this road. I turned the car around for "just one more" before heading back to the Goldy.
Thanks for the cache HotWheelsDuo.
Cheers!!

Out for the day with K8'n'Co, Curare63, T-Tech, IolantheK, Selva Girls, Mnance, Waimak and Brother Colin. Waimak was kind enough to be the taxi for half of us. We were all in the area for a long weekend event so we had plenty of time to cache. Beautiful day and we all had a lot of fun in this lovely area. 6033 for us. Thank you Hot Wheels Duo for placing and maintaining this cache.
Last time I tried to search for this one it was missing. Today on our way to Running Creek Falls, I was with IolantheK, Tech, Brother Colin, mnance101, curare63, The Green Geckos, Selva Girls and Waimak. A nice easy find today. TFTC HotWheelsDuo!
A camping weekend at Christmas Creek. A group of cachers were heading out to hike up Running Creek. I joined them for the adventure. We collected the caches along the way. This was the first. With a large group searching for the cache, it didnt take long to find. We all signed the log. the cache was rehidden and we made our way back to the cars and on to the next one
Today I am taking a hike down at Running Creek in the company of -Tech, Brother Colin, mnance101, curare63, The Green Geckos, Selva Girls and Waimak. Along the way we stopped to collect all the caches.
Loved the cache guardian. TFTC, Hot Wheels Duo.

Out caching with Hot Wheels Duo and found this one without to much trouble. Thanks for the cache in this lovely part of the world.
Wish the weather was fine for photos.

This is fantastic country side out here but unfortunately couldn't find so waited on the side of the road for Co to come past with herbz and k8nco after sone more looking Co realized it had gone so a new cache was placed and we signed the new log with k8nco
Found with bennyboppers on the way back from a wonderful weekend with fellow cachers. After a fruitless search checking up and down fence line we couldn't spot anything. We knew the CO was coming by soon so we waved and mentioned the problem. The cache seemed to have gone and another one is now in place. We signed the log and moved on down the hill to the next cache. Great views. Tftc
After a walk today to try to get to Running Creek Falls, I decided to do a few caches on my way home. No luck with this one. I will have to keep an eye on it and do it next time when I come back to Christmas Creek in June.
Wow, what a great view.... oh, that's right, there's a cache to be found. Well we did find the cache, but noticed the guardian too, so with a prod from the stick it ran with a big trail of web behind it.
Once we signed and replaced the cache, the guardian returned to his hidey hole
Great spot, thanks Hot Wheels Duo.

This cache caused quite a stir. We enjoyed the views along the way, such a beautiful part of the world. Mr. Gap went to one spot and Mr. Herbz went to another. It was Mr. Herbz who spotted the cache however, there was a rather scary cache guardian that needed to be dealt with before the log could be signed! See attached photo. Mr. Herbz found a stick to poke it and it ran out spinning its web as it went. Quickly the cache was retrieved, log book signed and replaced before the guardian returned to its station. TFTC Hot Wheels Duo.
cache find #2121. Wow what wonderful views, and a nice cool breeze as a bonus. We found the cache quickly, replaced as found. Stopped to watch some wallabies eating the grass on the roadside. TFTC.
I always enjoy these winding country roads. It always amazes me that people live out here and have done for such a long time. It would have been a hard life for the pioneers.
Another nice drive by cache
Another nice drive by cache
Beautiful. the only way this could be better is with the rain we so badly need
Absolutely love this road, even in the haze of a hot dry day. There must be dozens of hills, and some mountains, visible from this spot. A lovely series of caches for those who like a drive along a real country road.
I really did not know what to expect down this road, as a little way back I hit the dirt road, and I must say that I was very happy to find a bit more black top before starting to climb the hill. I am not quite sure if the car would have made it up that hill had it been dirt.
Anyway made it up I did, and the wind was the first thing I noticed when I got out. I made the find rather easily, and had to be rather particular in holding onto the log while I signed it to ensure that it did not go with the breeze. Got everything back in place and took a moment to enjoy the view before continuing along for the last little bit for one more cache.

Out and about today for a morning drive down this way to find a few new caches.
A quick find .. another one ... it is very similar to a lot of caches in these parts.
Thanks for the cache.

Having met up with CantCacheUs at the previous cache we claim a joint FTF on this cache which really does have glorious views. The FTF occurred at 11:33am and we thank you for showing us more of this area Hot Wheels Duo. It was a pleasure to drive out this way. TFTC! [^][^]
Joint **FTF** with Aussie Liahona
Drove back out here this morning after missing these on the FTF run yesterday hoping they would still be clean logs. Met Aussie Liahona at the cache and was happy to share a joint ftf on the cache. Lovely to chat with you this morning. Thank you Hot Wheels Duo for bringing us out here and sharing this amazing landscape with us. Tftc
