To the people saying 'too many syringes' you're looking in the totally wrong place. I wouldn't have put a cache somewhere where you could get injured.
Very clever. Could leave lots of cryptic clues but it would give this hide away. Not a waste of a trip down the drain. If you see needles, you are searching where you shouldn't.
Found the cache, but agree with earlier finder to watch your kids. Lots of syringes in the nature strips and trees. Sad.
Geohusband made a quick find here and we signed a blank log book tftc a clever one
If I go into too much detail it will give away the hide.. In the past 2 weeks this cache has been 'made impossible to grab'. I live close so I can fix it easily- please log if this happens to you. I'd rather know to make it easy for the next cacher
Beware of the needles in the nature strips . We gave up looking after we nearly got stabbed.
Hmmm. I had a good look with geokid but we got nothing. The GPS wasn't helping so we walked up and down and up and down. Pretty sure we came across the old man. Will be back later with fresh eyes.
Can't say I did this on my own...lots of CO assistance here. Met fursst as well as the "grumpy old man!" Signed log and left a Canadian 10-cent piece, but happier that I made an acquaintance. Looking forward to your future caches!

Kids loved it. We left a couple of very small swappable a. Log book is a little damp due to the downpour last night.
Great hide
Great hide
Found it! I love all the back streets and laneways in Richmond. We were visiting friends who live nearby. After a delicious Burmese meal, we ventured out in the freezing cold to introduce our friend to this adventurous game. It took bit too long to find and they went home to get dessert ready. I eventually found it in the last place I looked! We could see the Southern Cross! TFTC SL
Very cool hide !! Took us a while ha ha !!! Found and retrieved - a nice find whilst on holiday in Melbourne
#679 12:16pm TFTC... I am sorry for the generic post, but I am MONTHS behind in my logging of caches... and it is becoming quite a stress. I need to churn though my backlog to get back up to date and I will endeavour to log more often in the future.
GSAK has just told me I found this cache months ago. I don't know how I managed to not log it. I don;t want to muck up 5 round number milestone caches, so I am logging it today, the day I realsied my terrible mistake, rather than in March when I found it with SirJ-Oz.

We strolled up to gz at a fairly muggle free time of day, had a look at the obvious places then spotted the little fella, nice hide by the way. A quick look around for muggles and the cache was ours. Signed the look, waited for a truck to move on and re hid the cache. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
After coming back a second time realised it was on the other side of the street
Cool cache
Cool cache
Still on the 'Richmond Run' it really was the last place we looked. Nice hide. TFTC
Found at 14:22
Finally back for another look today and armed the knowledge that the coords are on the wrong side of the street, I instantly spotted and retrieved the cache. I could have sworn I looked there last time.
Thanks fursst for the cache. It's amazing the difference a few meters makes.

Out Caching with PantherX. fun day of cahcing all around. Sorry, took me a while to gwt around to publishing the log on this one.

I was out on another caching run with Hawley3 today. It was a little slow going navigating through all the traffic but we found 11 caches all up.
This was a fun hide because it's a little different. My first reaction when I saw Hawley3 searching was, why are you bothering to look there? Just goes to show, you never know where the cache is going to be hiding! I think another team of cachers turned up with torches just as we drove off too. Thanks for the cache, fursst!

Genius!
I want to use this great idea to hide some more caches in Melbourne.
Great Neighborhood, go the Tigers, and thanks for the hide! Well done.

I had unsuccessfully looked for this cache a few weeks ago. Even though it was quite late at night the man over the road appeared as I was searching so I was a little put off and decided to call it quits. I mentioned this cache to a geocaching colleague at a recent event and they said I would have more success in the daylight so I dropped by today on the way home from a meeting at MSAC in Albert Park.
I managed to get a parking spot about 20 metres from the cache. I wandered over to GZ and after only a few seconds I easily spotted the sneaky hide in a very unusual location. I'm sure I looked there last time but I guess it's very well camo'd. There was only the occasional muggle passing by so I quickly grabbed the cache and signed the log at 3:05 pm. TNLN. I then carefully returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks fursst for a memorable and cleverly hidden cache in a lovely Richmond street with lots of magnificently renovated old houses. Luckily the man over the road was nowhere to be seen today. [^]

After a few aborted attempts and a couple of "phone calls" back home to see if needed coriander for dinner, I resorted to the old doing up my shoe laces to grab this cache.
Well done, a great hide and a favourite from us.
TFTC.

I love it when you are out and about looking for a cache and the CO's dad comes out for a chat. It's even better when he doesn't give too much away, so you can still find it yourself. Many thanks!!!!! Sl TFTC
Find #1813. Found @ 18:48 with LouiseAnn.
After we'd finished our kayaking adventure on the Yarra, we decided to grab a cache or two in the area.
This one took us a while to find. We had to stop and try to look inconspicuous many times due to lots of muggles foot and vehicular traffic. We looked and looked but found nothing. We even expanded our search radius, albeit a bit half-heartedly, but had no luck.
In the end we gave up and walked away. Just as we crossed the road, I spotted something and had the cache in hand shortly after. I make the coordinates to be about 5m out, to the west of where I found the cache.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache fursst.

9 year olds have a great sense of the last place an adult would look - it was the first place he looked!! Thanks for the cache!
A quick find today by the Moose in this quiet street. Thanks for bringing us here to your 'hood, a concept I can't get my head around living in one place all my life. Thanks for the cache.
Found on another caching adventure with Trailrunning, We had both been busy so had not been out for a few weeks, so it was good to be back out finding plastic. Thanks fursst for the cache.
I was out caching with Rebel Acts after a few weeks off moving house. Grabbed a few tonight and this was one of them. Thanks
This wasn't in the last place that I looked, or any other place that I looked. I felt a bit uncomfortable looking for this as there were quite a few muggles going by. Rather than risk exposing the cache, I decided to move on.
I will blame the deficiencies of using my Android rather than my GPS for failing to find this one today. Once in open sunshine, the Android screen just disappears so I could not narrow the location down far enough. As I may not get back here again, I must therefore log a DNF - boohoo! Gave it a good go first but started to feel a bit uneasy in case neighbours rang the police.
After failing to find this one last week (mostly because our GPS had us focusing on the wrong side of the road), we returned today after taking the time to view the co-ordinates on satellite view. The co-ordinates showed a position just off the middle of the street (didn't think it was going to be there) but I had a feeling about something in the picture and checked there first when we were on site today. Sure, enough, a quick find today. Waited for a few people to pass and then retrieved the cache and signed the log. TFTC.
The Task
To pick up EuDes herself from her friend's place after their extracurricular activities nearby.
The Realisation
Upon checking the address of the aforementioned friend on Upoj, this cache was less than 50 metres away. Not having a look for it was therefore out of the question. (Gotta luv those double negatives. )
The Situation
Upon arriving at GZ, a search ensued but not long after I heard the cry of "Dad!". Yep, I had been spotted so moseying on over to the aforementioned friend's place I explained that there was a cache just over there.
Reply: "Oh yeah, we know about that."
Friend's younger brother: "here you go, I'll show you."
We wandered back and he handed me the stash from its hiding spot at 18:25.
Not being too proud of course [8)], I duly signed the log and proceeded to tell them about caching in general as they weren't fully au fait with the activity. Hopefully there are some full converts on their way.
The Question
Have I now seen everything that the caching experience has to offer?
The Conclusion
Probably not by a long shot.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks for the cache and an amazing experience fursst.

I was looking in the wrong direction at first. I almost gave up before I caught a glimpse of it. Thanks for the tricky cache
Spent a while trying to find it! Got a few strange looks, Very sneaky but really clever!
Out and about on the bike on a rather blustery summer afternoon in Melbourne so I thought I would grab a few caches on the way. A clever hide. TFTC.
I loved the cache and its literary clue and, to top it off, I was muggled by the CO herself Thanks!
Took us awhile to find it lol this was officially my first geocache find! Woooooo
Found with Spiffy by Spiffy. I had been here on new year's day but couldn't find it. This time it didn't take long. Happy to sign the log. Tftc
Out for an after work cache run until dark with sharkiefan today. Picked up a few multis and mostly trads and surprisingly considering it was Friday arvo the traffic was pretty good and we managed to find parking exactly where we wanted to on all but one cache. With phones loaded with searches avoiding each others finds we set off.
We spent a couple of minutes looking around and then we did find it exactly where the hint said we would. Very sneaky.
Thanks fursst for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

#2939 - 11:00; In Melbourne for a few days after a trip home to Tassie and picking up a few more caches while I'm in town. I seem to remember mentioning my new found love of shopping previously in my logs and today reminded me why. The geogals wanted to come to Bridge Road, Swan and Chapel Streets to check out the retailers, so I came along to make sure they arrived safely and then headed off on a much longer walk than I had bargained for. This was the first of fifteen, comprising 14 finds and a single DNF. The GPSr took a while to settle, but once the right side of the road was sorted, the cache was soon in hand, log signed, cache replaced and I was on my way again. TFTC fursst
Found with PJ of PJ and ME in the last few days of our Asian Cup adventure in Melbourne. Great location for cache! TFTC
very tricky, I loved it,
I am amazed with the weather we just had that this cache is in fantastic order,
thanks fursst [:x]

Coming through the city on our way home today and we managed a quick park and grab. The hint helped heaps. A nice hide fursst, tftc. Will give it a fave for the work.
Down from the Gold Coast and staying within a stones throw of this little critter I set out to retrieve it. I was successful on my 2nd attempt . A clever hide and no muggles . I have not seen one quite like this one. The hint is a useful piece of advice . TFTC fursst

There were quite a few muggles walking around but I was still able to have a pretty good look. Even with a small hint I was unable to find the cache again today.
I'll be back for another look.

While during my lunch break I walked to the spot. Really had me going as there was no way I was going through the plants with rubbish. I little confused to start with which corner to check out. Bingo, what a checky hide. Like the others if this disappears there are some other really good hides here.
I could see no stars here today
Thanks fursst for a nice walk and a lovely day

i stopped off here on my way to a delicious pho lunch on Victoira Street. I only had a couple of minutes to spare as i was meeting some friends. Luckily it was in the first place i set my eyes on. Thanks for the cache!
Find #640
I was in the area so I took a small diversion on the bike to look for this one. After a short time and a bit of head scratching I heard a voice from across the street: "You're looking in the wrong place". The cache owner and family were around to give me a nudge in the right direction and before too long more I had made the find. I haven't seen one like this before so was impressed with the ingenuity of this hide. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache fursst. Good to bump into you on my search for your hide and thanks for the pointers to help me find it. A favourite point from me.

Trying to get a little fit the last 6km was walked with the determination to finally work this one out.
And for those who have found it the clue is now obvious for the effort is won at this point.
But an effort is required before the treasure is won.
And no grumpy man today and starting to think that this story is a little bit of a fib.
But now with a victory behind us the walk back is done with a little spring in the step.
Thanks fursst. A surprisingly good effort.

This isn't too far from my way home so I stopped in for a look. I looked around while trying not to look too suspicious but I wasn't able to locate the cache before some muggles along. I'll be back for another look soon.

Had an appointment near here so I managed to swing by for a quick look without much confidence. I wasn't there long when the Telstra man turned up and pulled up a manhole cover so I made my exit. Thanks anyway. I'll try again next time I'm over this way.
Found 09:40, after being forced to play my "Phone-A-Friend" card [B)] was unable to remove log book so added a page from my note book to the cache.
TNLN, thanks fursst.

I could have been FTF on this one but I was out at the critical time. No matter. I used Streetview to familiarise myself with the location and on the way for a morning coffee today I made a slight deviation to look for it. Fortunately it did not take too long.
It is a clever hide and well done for a first effort fursst. It is in a rather vulnerable place so there may be some maintenance issues, however I noted at least two other good hiding spots nearby in case you do ever need to move it.

What luck, I had just been to see my back doctor and when I got back to the car this cache had been published only 15 minutes away.
Once at GZ the cache was found after a short search, the coordinates had me in the middle of the intersection but an expanded search soon had the cache in hand and our name added in the FTF space, we don't get many of these any more.
we were surprised at how many people walk their dogs along this road even during work hours.
Thanks Fursst for the hide.

In anticipation of the grumpy old man the bananas stepped lightly around here.
But when the technology tells you to look in the geometric middle of two intersecting roads a non result was offering.
The clue provides the outcome to every treasure that has ever been found for obvious reasons. Why look further?
All the loose bricks in the wall were found, the pickles examined at close quarters, and the locals were suitably suspect.
But no result in the affirmative was reached.
Just as well the bananas were in the area.
Will now go onto the watch list and attempt when the coordinates don't aim to run us over.
We gave it a go.
