TFTC. It’s a pity this area is not maintained. I assume there used to be information about the Expresswsy on the metal sloping signposts once.
Was about to give up, GPS isn't that far off at all if that's a step in the right direction
Didn’t take to long to find but it was quite lucky really. I would’ve spent ages searching through all nooks in these rocks. TFTC
Found during a caching tour of the far southern suburbs around Hackam, Noarlunga Downs and Morphett Vale after attending the Jordan Drive Reserve CITO. Thanks for the cache pizzaman22!
We arrived here today after a short walk, it took quite a few laps and finally we turned over the right thing and sure enough the cache was found
After the morning event we headed down to the southern suburbs today to find some more unfound caches on the map, detouring to previous DNFs and a few others that had popped up in the last year.
Thanks for the cache

Went for a ride slightly further than my usual 10K running loops takes - that is, i've never crossed under the expressway tunnel before, and had no idea this spot was here. Decided to check it out, sadly no sign.
Tftc it took me a while… I was between and rock and a hard place. Nearly completed the AL!
We really enjoyed this one, marker was a little off but this added to the fun…our favourite so far.
Had been down this way only 3 days ago but when I realised there was a new AdLab out on the Coast to Vines Rail Trail knew I'd be coming back soon. Did the AdLab first and managed to find 10 physical caches on or close to the rail trail. Had a quick break back at the car then headed over to Woodcroft and found another 10 traditionals.
When first approaching GZ was concerned at where I may have to search, had a quick look there without moving anything. Soon after found the well hidden mint tin in a much more appropriate place, a very nice hide, probably deserving of a higher difficulty rating.
Thanks to pizzaman22 for putting out this cache for me to find.
*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*

Found it, but there was no tin or logbook just an empty plastic bag, I’m guessing it was thrown away
Found, nice hiding place, pencil needs a sharpen and logs may need replacement
With about 5 maybe 6 more to find for the day, this one was next in line.
Parked the GeoMobile and hot-footed it up the Mount of MONICA to the hide
I was looking all around and trying to find the hidey spot. Once I found it the general area of the hide i was still looking around for the booty [:o]
Curious, i thought i'd just try this and bingo! CIH and i was SL log on the only dry bit of paper in the cache. This one really needs an actual logbook in a plastic bag [:o]
[Sorry i didn't have one on me at the time].
SL at 11:44 to a good view of the Southern Outlet's end on TGIF 26 June 2020.

After work this evening, I needed to pick up a package on South Road, and so decided to continue down south for a few required cache types, and spend some time geocaching around Huntfield Heights and Noarlunga Downs, including some walks around wetlands areas and the Onkaparinga Estuary. There are a few really nice areas that appear to be rarely visited, but at least geocaching helps to promote these treasured sights.
This was my final geocache for the evening, and a last minute decision to drive the back street to this GZ, then turning on to Main South Road and consequently the Southern Expressway home. I parked nearby, and made the jog along the bike tracks, and then up Mount Monica in order to arrive at GZ. This one had me perplexed, and after checking the usual spots, I continued to look around GZ and "trusting the GPS" as others had recommended. Still no cache. So I resorted to a PAF, who gave me some helpful advice. It turned out that I thought I had a diligent search, except for one other obvious item. Sigh, which turned out to house the cache. Nice one. The cache container was a little rusted away, and the logbook was really jammed in to the container, possibly unnecessary. It was great camouflage construction though. Thanks pizzaman22 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After a little bit of searching we finally found it. Was a great little hiding place.

Another day to find some caches to finish my self imposed challenge of ten finds on every calendar day. I only needed 4 today but last two days of the school year are not when I am feeling the motivation. This one has been on my target list for awhile, took a little hunting to find..
Thanks to pizzaman22 from mogni

Out on the Shonky bicycle for a ride along the Seaford line with Uni and Medusa. The idea being to catch the train to Seaford and ride back and cache asking the way. Found this one after a quite a search. It's not in the wall note on the signs. Trust your GPS.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found on a bike ride with Shonky at 12:59
A challenge. A few metres nw of gps

Looked across all the walls and the large rocks. This is our second attempt but no luck
We conquered Mount Monica after a lot of poking around! Creative hide which wasn’t where we were expecting. TFTC
Found with Erine14 on world geo day. TFTC!
Took us a few minutes, and finally we read some previous logs that told us to stop looking in the wall! Erin eventually found the cache tucked away.

Found with my dad Rod81w awoke ago, still catching up on my logs as I have my own account now
Great first find. The kids really enjoyed looking for it. Very well hidden. The log was very damp though
Just about to give up as smallest helper was doing wee wee dance and then found it. Great camo. TFTC
1 - ride up steep gravel hill
2 - find cache
3 - admire view and wonder what this strange yet awesome structure is for.
4 - ride down hill. Weeeeeeeeeeeeee
Quick find. Great cammo.
Never new this was here although I've ridden past on the rail trail many many times. Thanks for bringing me here.

Have been trying to get here for a while and for some reason never got around to it.
Today I walked from Spot of Weather2. Nice day for a stroll.
Cache was found fairly quickly, probably by luck more than skill. The hint doesn't mean much to me.

Went out The Tribe and a very eager dog. No luck. The four youngest did their best but it seems to be well out of their sight.
Owl joined Blackadders and Brisal5 in a quest to find SA Sewer Rats her 5000th cache. They headed south in search of power trails and easy finds to make up the numbers and largely failed in their quest, though the magical 5000 was finally made. This was the first cache of the day and nearly a DNF, until Mrs Rat ignored the clue and just searched.
It was organised by the wise Owl, Starfish and Snake to help Mrs Rat get to 5000 finds.
So the Snake picked Mrs Rat up and we met up with Dr Owl.
We then met up with the starfish at another cache.
We had a mammoth task to find 30 caches, before a dash to this cache.
This was our first cache for the day.
Mrs Rat found The cache by ignoring the clue and followed her instincts. We had a great day of caching, laughs.Tftc

Generic Log :
At an recent event there was a whisper that a particular Rat was nearing her 5000th find and that she only needed 30 to reach the goal. Mr. Blackadder, hearing this thought Hmm what an opportunity to get out on such a wonderful day with a small but fun group of fellow cachers and to witness the big 5000 finds he would invite himself along. Picking up Mrs SA Sewer Rat, meeting an Owl and then meeting up with a Starfish would make for a good day out. With a few minor disagreements on the navigation aspect we finally made a number of finds including of course this one. Many were easy and a few were not so obvious however smileys were eventually gained. TFTC and if appropriate, the series, some of which will need to be completed at a later date.

Mt Monica, but I hardly know her... Parked in a maybe dodgy fashion, albeit not actually ON south road. Still had to walk 200m.
It was dark, by torchlight I found many potential signs, that weren't.
But was here for a cache, and a cache we found, in one of those fresh little containers that are so popular... plus camo.
Neatly done. Will need new log soon, getting worn.
Thanks for bringing us here pizzaman22 , and thanks for the smiley

We parked at the end of Serafino Drive (near the bike track) and made a shorter walk around the end of the estate [8].
An unusual piece of artwork which would have taken quite some time to construct . You get the full impact of the hill from the top of Tintara Walk, where it looks like a fortress [^].
Found some rather unsavoury rubbish near GZ , but really liked the cache camo . TNLNSL.
Have to wonder about what was supposed to be on the sign boards near GZ [?]. Also an explanation of what the designer intended the 'sculpture' to be [?].
Thanks Pizzaman22.

A nice walk to Mt Monica. Had to search around for a bit then found the tricky cache. TFTC pizzaman22
Scratch head for sometime on this one even tried to p.a.f. but no answer but looked at the clue and found it now that is a great hide
With RopeNut. Sat and looked around to think about the clue. Paf but he didn't answer. All of a sudden it connected....very clever hide...tftc.
Jumped on the mountain bikes with the geowife and grabbed the caches along the Coast to Vines rail trail. Good hide with a bit of work gone into this one. Fav point. Signed log
Headed down to the Southern Suburbs with CPwanderer...rain, wind & shine, warm & cool...all seasons in one today...
This one tricked us for a while...standing at GZ...puzzled...PAF...der!!! I moved it ...all good, signed & back in place...
TFTC...very cool first hide...pizzaman22

After a previously unsuccessful attempt to mount Monica, today she was finally conquered. TFTC. 5/11/16, 3:05 pm Find #3030.
Having met the lovely Whitepaws9 2 weeks ago in Warnambool I was lucky enough to spend a day with her today, caching our way through some great walks and sights in the southern suburbs
The autumn leaf only fell twice , there was only 1 DNF and 14 caches were found
By the end of the day we were both a shade of pink from the unexpected sunshine and 27 degree warmth but we had grins on our faces from our finds [^]
Finally I made it up to find this tormenting cache that has been so close and yet so out of reach while driving down this way!
Cache was found reasonably quickly on my roundabout way home
Great view of the traffic nearby.
Near GZ looks like a chemist's shop though with tablets and boxes lying around
TNLN. SL. TFTC pizzaman22
