Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventur. We set off in sunshine today, a perfect day for Geocaching. We are enjoying the small towns, beaches, cliffs and history. Thanks for bringing us here.
Another great winters day out with iluvtrekking picking up finds around Edithburgh and surrounds. Thanks for the hide Team Waldron.
Decided to do the Salt Lake trail today and picked up a few caches along the way - lovely area to visit TFTC
If walls could talk I bet these would have some interesting tales to tell. Thanks fo bringing feathertop and I here via this cache Team Waldren
There must be some history associated with the place.
Nice to stop on our history tour of the area.

A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

We have spent the day driving the back roads of the lower Y.P. We have been taken to old ruins of churches schools and farms. Also a wind farm and painted water towers. Thanks to those who placed these caches. In some caches we have left something.
Not the Wangaratta Event. Instead it was the Yorke Peninsular with Sal. Today we did the Salt Lake Tour from Yorketown and of course stopped to make a few finds as we were passing.
That is the smallest, small sized cache. Oh well found it anyway.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks Team Waldron for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Our 3rd days break in Edithburgh away from the rat race. We imagine the property owner wanted to let people know where they were? Thank you for the placement of the Boot Hill Rock cache Team Waldron find number 8600 on 3 November 2021 at 4:18 pm
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. Another great day for caching. TFTC Team Waldron

Day 5 of caching Gone Fishn’ trail on Yorke Peninsula and a few off trail trads today for a bit of variety with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.
Wearing gloves and gators even though it’s cloudy and poured rain for most of the morning, it’s getting warmer and the less tourist friendly wildlife are on the move. Adding to the thrill of finding each cache was the view of perfectly grown cereal crops almost harvest ready forming a tapestry across the hills, some starting to crop with mega harvesters. Along the way were the odd blue tongue lizards, huge centipedes, camel statues, flighty spiders, horses and alpacas, birds nesting and singing away, the obligatory late afternoon flies, and the biggest beetles, and of course what would a cache day be without upsetting a few ants!
Today’s lunch was enjoyed at Edithburg, the afternoon was finishing Adventure Labs taking for a drive along the beautiful coast, the sun was finally out and the breeze was light making our visit even more beautiful.
So much effort has gone into setting up these trails, today’s trail was an easy run, pulling up and jumping out, spotting the rock, post or sticks and quickly on to the next one, unlike the previous days where a few caches were tricky to find, some were under bushes that are now trees, some were found in undergrowth that has overwhelmed the hide, some were under rocks when they were hinting to look in a bush or post or tree. For the rest, most were easy, some were duplicated and some were missing. We may have added to rock piles making a couple of cairns.
Maintenance was done by replacing full or wet logs and missing or broken containers all completed with CO permission.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out hides and showing us your part of the world

Day 2 of our holidays, saw us caching along the coast line, cliff climbing, finding old ruins and travelling down many dirt roads. As at 4pm we are back at camp having a well earned rest before dinner and possibly more caching. TFTC

I have come over to Yorkes with Madham02 for a couple of nights staying in Wool Bay and today was our full day so we headed off for a drive with the sun shining and no wind or rain. [^] I had made a list of caches I wanted to find and at the end of the day had 21 finds and 2 DNF's. It was a fun day driving around on dirt roads looking at lots of old buildings and ruins.
Very interesting rather large rock, would have been interesting to know who wrote on it and what it actually signified. [?]

Day 203 (Thursday 19th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Warooka today. A total of 14 for the day and 4754 for the trip. TFTC
On a day if arctic blustery conditions we set out to cache! Well why not? Better than sitting snuggled up in a camper all day. Our timing for cache grabs were largely impeccable....not! The things you see on a caching tour. What an interesting rock, like the boots, pretty flash. Tftc
Facing yet another day of an extreme heatwave, so we slowed down the caching hunt for the day, along with ilook4geo.
It was much appreciated when we found a cache near shade where the signing could be done in a bit more comfort. Only did a short run around Warooka and Yorketown, picking up a few of the caches available. Thanks go to Team Waldron for placing this cache, which was easily found after a touch of colour was noticed and whose log was duly noted with two more initials.

Phew! Another stinker of a day! Still went out caching with goingplaces2, but put less on the list. It was just too hot to be a lot of fun. Had a good hunt and came up with the goods here. TFTC.
Off down the Yorke for a few days with Purrfect Di, Jack, Sebastbat, muggle Alex and Chloe the geodog (cat's crazy staff).
Celebrating Di and Matty's birthdays with a few scenic caches.
Found this cache along the way.
Nice rock. So much to see.

With the wind eased right off this morning the only issue might be rain today, but even then that should only be passing light showers.
So we are back out chasing caches again!
This time we are again heading south from Edithburgh but inland towards Port Moorowie. Very interesting countryside, all the lakes that randomly pop up add to the character of the surrounds.
We have come across some strange place names today, and this adds to the list.
As a kid it was always a must to die with your boots on. Loved those old cowboy movies.
Enjoyed the cache and the effort and humour by the artist.

A casual day finishing off the GeoArt and tackling other caches too.

Was out in open and container getting brittle. So gave it abit more protection. Thanks Team Waldron.
Visiting the Yorke Peninsula to complete the various power trails. Luckily we have finished them and have some time to complete more great caches in the area before we have to go home.
Would also love to know some history about the house and rock. Loved the art work.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

#2457 How appropriate there's a boot reference on the foot of YP. One does wonder the history behind this location. TFTC Team Waldron.
On a geocache guided cruise around the mid-sole today,
I found this odd place [:o]
Nice rock !!
How did it get here ??
Where did it come from ??
The 'Stonehenge' of the YP ??
The carvings are worthy of an Egyptian Pharaoh !! [:o)]
Or maybe just a Texan farmer ??
Whatever !!
Cache found before the neighbours set the dogs on me

Saw the picture on a previous log and wasn't sure what to expect. Thanks for an easy find.
How wrong we are to assume, and assume we did we believed we were heading to a cemetrey. How wrong were we. Absoultly loved the rock with it's carvings. A fav for you because we spent loads of time here checking out the features.
First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

On this occassion, I am doing a generic log. I have travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular. Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. The variety of caches was interesting, some very clever, some the quick grab they were designed to be. A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.
5536 Found by baby&Mrs gopher on a drive around the lakes with Nodalot at 1425. A most unusual feature to see along the fence line. SL Tnx Team Waldron.
A really interesting spot, thanks for placing a cache here!!
As it so happens, CPwanderer and I had been on the Yorke Peninsula about 30 hours before this find as we had been chasing other FTFs from 3LG's T.O.Y. Series. When home we saw that a number of new T.O.Y. caches had been published, so after a few phonecalls we crazily decided to lock in another trip! [:o)]
I collected CP at 6am, Locus at 6:40am and then the 3 of us cached all over the YP (from Port Arthur to Edithburgh to Innes National Park to Corny Point and then Ardrossan for dinner and everyone was home by 11pm. It was a long day but we had a ball. We got about 15 golds today.

Hi there Team Waldron.
We found your cache **"Boot Hill Rock"** at 1:20:00 PM today.
This was our 9th find for the day and this makes our find count 13725.
Today was a lazy sort of day, so our cache run today started at a random one near our camp site in Yorketown. We then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest etc, & ended up finding 11 & DNFing 0 today.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 7m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Camped at Yorketown, and Konie joined us on a loop drive to Port Moorowie & Coobowie.
We visited some lovely locations, & picked up a good variety of caches on our travels
Added our names to names to the logs, and it was off to the next one.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Team Waldron, for us and others to find.

Off to YP for the weekend with muggle partner and Brodie and what an interesting weekend it was!
Luckily yesterday's rain had almost blown away and the day was much nicer today: windy at times but clearer and nice and cool after all our recent heat
We said Hi to Ozibags in the morning as he had been in the room next to us, then we headed out caching prior to returning to the hotel for tonight's tea event.
After tea, Goodlook, Ozibags and I went out and did some night caching as you do!
Overall I had 4 DNFs (but 2 of those were later found), 1 event attended and 25 cache finds today.
Interesting rock and artwork

Found during a tour of the bottom end of Yorke Peninsula while staying at Wool Bay for the first week of the school holidays. Thanks for the cache Team Waldron!
Found with DiMorgan, pprass and Maccamob while around the area. We all liked this one!
Found by Mary & David, in company with Di Morgan, Alansee and pprass (signed as DAMP), at 1250. Most amusing. There must be a story here about the sheep rising up against their keepers. Plenty of sheep about, so we're thinking of roast lamb tonight Our thanks to Team Waldron.
After completing the geo art we continued our day in the MOzzie Flats to Edithburg.
Today we travelled with Alansee, Maccamob & pprass we signed that we had not all found as DAMP. This was such as enjoyable day out.
Some good art work on this very large rock.
