Great hill to walk up, needed the exercise! Nice easy one on the way to the supermarket.Tftc!
Visiting South East Queensland for a week from Port Macquarie. Our last full day on the Gold Coast, today we tackled caches right down the coastal area, from The Spit in the North down to Coolangatta/Tweed Heads in the South. The weather today was prime for caching, with clear skies and lovely temperatures in the low twenties. This was a nice quick find after parking just down the hill. Thanks for the cache
After 3 miserable failed attempts, I had given up on this one.Had to drop someone at John Flynn today so thought I should take another look.Sitting out in plain sight! Signed and placed back under cover. TFTC
A short visit to my parents and so flew into Coolangatta from Albury. Had to pick up car from Tugun so decided to see if I could get caches in three states in a day. Started in Victoria this morning and got the other two late in the afternoon. Was going past so a quick diversion and parked nearby. Been here before (though came from the other side). Knew what I was looking for but couldnt locate last time. Today was in the very first place I looked - two leaves moved and there it was. Glad to get this one done.TFTC king-fisher8
MrMagoo72 and I had looked for this one on a previous occasion, but had failed to find it then. This time we parked closer to GZ, and headed over for another look. I had a fair idea what I was looking for, but it took quite a while to find as it was so well camouflaged. When we extracted the logsheet, it looked as though it had been replaced with a sheet from another cache. Nevertheless, we signed and returned it all as found. TFTC.
Park within a CastleVisiting the Tweed LGA with chamad and geopup today to collect caches for a challenge. After admiring some incoming planes we soon found the cache. Log signed, all replaced as found. TFTC king-fisher8# 10141CheersWillis007
A run down to the northern rivers area with Willis007 today sees us taking in a nice cruisey day of caching. It was a slow start with traffic causing a moment or two of issues. We started with a nice trail of puzzle caches in the tweed south area and then worked our way down further south to the little town of Burringbar. It was then over to Pottsville and up to Tugun before then heading home. It was a nice day and a chance to catch up on all happenings and events. All logs were signed and replaced as found, thanks for the hides. Making our way home we still had a couple more to grab. This was in a very usual spot and while I had already cleared the area of debris it seemed I had not dug down enough. While I had just said I'm done for the day lets go, it was then that willis007 says I got it. Where you are joking me, I cleared there. You were right in what it was, you just didnt dig down enough, gees I love it when she puts me in my place, lol. All good with this one and we left it as found just not as deep.
Couldnt find it. Dont know if it was blown away by the storm or just couldnt find it.
Down the Gold Coast for a few days and find as many caches as I can.Ist caching stop with RoddyC, Hatzofff and GrannySmith1947 we made a quick find. Log signed by all before replacing as found. TFTC
On our way to our accommodation for a few days. The temperature is rising hopefully the coming storm will cool things down a little.Nice quick park and grab.TFTCache king-fisher8

Scratched around like a bush turkey ages for this one. Maybe that was the problem? Disappointing to log a dnf as the hill is steep
I parked close by and strolled over to the area and searched for 10 minutes before reading previous logs and then realised that I had been here back in 2016 and couldn't find it then either.
So much for the quick park and grab. All out of ideas here and the hint isn't a lot of use either
Found with GeoHubby TB142 and GeoFriend RogerZ1956 and Nature Girl.
Couldn't sign Log was just a glob of wet paper.TFTC

Took five minutes but the logbook was wet and the Rock that it was in was infested by bugs TFTC
Another find and another amazing cache. The log book is a sopping wet glob of paper so it will need a new one.
Unfortunately I didn't bring my maintenance kit with me
Quick and easy find after a bit of 'digging'

Anzac Day 2021 - Lest we forget
We came down for the long weekend to attend the Currumbin dawn service and do some local caching in the area.
Quick find on this one. Hint is a dead give away making it easy.
Log is really wet and falling apart. We didn’t have a spare with us.
Hopefully the next finder can replace it.
Caching with my gal Semik our geo pup Aneka,

Good hiding spot but log book is soaked from recent rain and the zip lock bag is no longer waterproof. Container is still in good condition.
Out for the day trying to find parts for the event. Quick and easy find in a place where I’d probably never come. Thanks for bringing me here. Log definitely needs replacing however. TFTC
Quick find once at GZ. A early morning walk as staying nearby. Back to nz tomorrow. Tftc.
Had some time to kill on the way to a BBQ and this was a nice easy find. Couldn't write on log book though as it was wet. TFTC
Coming from the south that's a killer hill to ride up but we got a lengthy rest looking for the cache. Mother nature, you made that hard! TFTC king-fisher8.
Had work early this morning so on my lunch break I came to grab this cache. Tftc
The Big lizard at this GZ was the only Muggle that knew what we were looking for..

We had to remain hidden from the muggle on the corner of Castle Ct as she was doing a crossword on her balcony. Relievedly, the cache was easy to spot from the hint.
Missed the turn on my way to another cache that led me to find this cache.
Glad I did
