Determined to have Toowoomba covered in smileys before moving back to Far North Queensland next week, I was on a mission this weekend! What a cool area this is! Some really pretty views nearby. Had no idea there were mountain biking trails here! Quick find here today, hint was definitely spot on! SL, TFTC
Probably been here before but didn't log... Oh well I have returned for a successful find. Tftc
Determined to throw myself off the mountain, precariously perched upon a pedal-powered form of propulsion, my chosen path passed this place, providing perfect potential to procure this piece. A quick rummage in the bushes and I had it in hand. TFTC
A short walk from the parking area for this one which hasnt been found for over 12 months. All good here, log signed and replaced as found before continuing down the hill. Thanks for the cache Eskies5.

Thanks for replacing the cache Eskies. Really appreciate turning this sad face into a happy face. A nice spot. Was where i originally thought the cache would have been.
Cache replaced. Yes its overgrown (9 yrs ago when we placed it, it was nicely slashedfunny how plants tend to grow ) but there is a geo trail if you look carefullyIve navigated worse . Happy caching!
I noticed some dnfs on this cache but mainly due to overgrowth. So was hoping I could snag a find on this one. Yes the area is quite overgrown but is still accessible. Unfortunately after spending 30mins at GZ I came away with some rubbish but no cache. Can CO please check on cache. Thanks
I did not receive an emailhave checked my spam folder too. Seems people have logged a DNF due to vegetation not actually being unable to find it. Will endeavour to get there in the next few weeks. Harvest time at work=very busy.
Didn't find got way too scratched up and was not putting my hands in holes or pulling back too many leaves. Too snakey or spidery for my liking
Staying in Toowoomba for a few days. A lovely winter day so we headed out to find some caches of course. No real surprise but lots of traipsing up and down hills through long grass, quite exhausting for these grey nomads.

Easy Find, bit of a hike through some grass but once you see the route it’s easy to get to if you just push the grass aside
Drew blood reaching through the spiky vines to retrieve it so was much more careful returning it. Thanks for the cache
No luck today . I looked around and around. Lots of long grass . Hope it's just cache blindness. Such great views. Thankyou for all the fun
It would not be a trip to Toowoomba without picking up an Eskies cache. They have sent me down these trails before, and fortunately this one was a whole lot easier, especially as I made LadySim do the hard work. Thanks for the Cache.
In Toowoomba for the long weekend with Swellerfungus . This is not far from where we are staying. Nice views from here, however it’s like us I’ll never charge down these tracks on a bike of any kind. A bit of a chicken little when it comes to a bike on gravel. I was rewarded however with an up-close and personal encounter with a wallaby. I think it was as stunned to see me there as I was it coz it was so so still and stared straight at me that for a sec I entertained the idea that this could be the cache container️ Of course then it hopped away, allowing me to get to the cache.
Thanks for this hide.
Thanks for this hide.
Found after grabbing a few puzzle caches, I went around GZ once missing the cache the first time and then the hint made perfect sense, thanks for placing and

Visiting Toowoomba and finding a few caches around the area. I was going to trek down and find a few of the solved puzzles down THAT hill, but with a sore knee I sensibly decided to leave it for another day and just grab this one instead.

Hot and tired from
Our morning hill climbs and after a friendly chat with a cyclist and his son , we headed back the 60m to hunt for this one. Spent a few minutes looking in what we thought was the obvious spot then I shifted in a bit to attack the lantana and made the find! Good hide!!! Tftc

Found this one with Gcoven after the long steep trek down and back for a couple of puzzle caches in the area. After a bit of a search and Gcoven being entwined in lantana the cache was located. Thanks Eskies5 for bringing us to this great location.
We originally saw a sign informing us that controlled burns were in the area. We could also smell plenty of fresh smoke but couldn’t see anything. As we got close to GZ the smell intensified.
The fire we smelt was all the grass around the cache which was still warm to the touch so we must have only just missed it. It wasn’t a big fire and the cache must have beaten it on a fight.
We got a phone call from our daughters that had been shopping all day and were sick of carrying their bags around. We decided we too would head off to meet them back at our apartment for a wine. tftc

Pretty simple find. Last one on this long afternoon walk. It’s good after the puzzling and up and down walk.

Up in Toowoomba today to pickup my son. Of cause I need to pickup some caches here. So time to get the last caches at Redwood Park and then over to Jubilee Park to get some also. Want a lovely walk up and down this nice range. And a letterbox at Westbrook.
Sorry for the generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC Brother Colin *306* streak. *1938* Find

Didn't find cache today. Beautiful location though. I want to try the bike trail.
Wow we saw two dudes at least 60 years old coming back UP on their bikes and hardly puffing!! Talk about fit!
We also picked up heaps of rubbish
We found a cool little hideout and finally the cache!

Thought to myself, wow your getting to old for this, spotted two other elderly gentlemen striving out & got a new lease of life. TFTC
Once at GZ the search began ... eventually found the cache when I stepped on it.
Replaced in an obvious spot associated with the hint.
Thanks for the puzzle.

Thanks for the puzzle.
Have to skirt around some lantana but the boys found it pretty quick with the clue
Dosshell and I were heading back up from the searing Pits of Hades doing another cache.
Lordy - I don't think it can get any hotter Dosshell was at the likely GZ first but couldn't find it. I widened the search before ending back up at the original GZ... and found the container almost immediately. Eyes painted on much, Dosshell?
We signed the log and returned the cache to its home. A great reason to stop in the shade before the final 30m slog back to the air conditioning of the car TFTC Eskeis5

fun find on NY day. took a bit of looking which was frustrating in the heat but got there. thank you.
I was still recovering from exertions of finding another 'nearby' cache which is my excuse for this one taking much longer than it should have! A couple of nearby kookaburras offered some encouragement.

Hi there Eskies5.
We wanted to attempt some more Toowoomba caches today, especially the ones we didn't manage to get to yesterday due to high muggle activity. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 8 caches today & DNF'd 1. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 6m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
