Logs
Quick find here once things stopped bouncy. Container was a bit damp inside but log still all good. Tftc!
Took us longer than it should have, especially with the hint. Took travel bug. TFTC
We are on Wellington Holiday staying in a motor camp and seeing the sights. We had time available to do a bit of geocaching. The hint was helpful and son (11) found. Daughter (9) signed it. Thanks boxhil for maintaining this cache,DadandthekidsNZ
The cache was definitely not where it should have been, just thrown. Also turns out we clearly didn't look at the GPS last time we visited because we were well off. Tftc!
Turns put we were in the wrong place the first time. Cache was kinda thrown so have returned it where I think it should have been.
We will be back. Someone was rummaging in the bush on the otherside of the fence and we didn't feel like we wanted to be part of that today!
A quick trip down to the Hutt Valley today with tmann421
Enjoyed all the caches found
Log signed tm/ww NZ
Thanks to the cache owners for their efforts
Replaced very soggy log here

A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Today we Cruised from Lower Hutt to Greytown. Rain threatened but did not eventuate.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Just when I think that I've laid this series to rest, I keep finding previously unseen ones in odd places! Quick find, all good! Tftc!
Heading back from a weekend in Martinborough, had an impromptu stop here. Straightforward find here, not sure why there’s been trouble finding this of late.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Had a good look. Locals walking past now so decided to move on. I was unable to locate today
Didn't find it. Could see where it could be as broken plants around but no cache
A very quick and straight forward cache. Pretty quiet here this morning, so we didn't have to worry about muggles.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

(# 5916). Sunday morning is a good time to grab a few caches way up the Hutt that I wanted to retrieve. A quick find but I couldn't believe the number of caravans and motor homes that went past the site this morning. Everything in order. TFTC
Captain’s log Stardate 2020.5. It is now 49 days since we entered the zone of darkness. We have stopped engines while we seek a defense against the enemy. Tomorrow we can safely encounter Level 2. Let’s go caching again..
You should NOT be out Geocaching while the COVID19 lockdown is on. This is totally irresponsible. The only travel you should be undertaking is to obtain essential supplies, and you should not be touching shared surfaces. You risk catching the virus, you could also pass it on to someone else.

We had morning tea at this reserve. It's Canterbury Anniversary weekend so JDScout and I organized cheap flights up to Wellington awhile back. The plan is to drive to Greytown on Friday and base ourselves there. Thanks boxhill for placing this geocache 7929 find for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

Found this one while out with Flowerydaze in the Te Marua area. Easy find once we were in the right place as for some reason the GPS started to play up and had us looking in several directions. Nice area for a cache, TFTC
Out and about for a day's caching with Talla64 hoping the rain stays away. Found after a short search. Tftc.
Got it this time.
I was looking at a similar hint item not very far away.
I didn't have time for a second look on my return journey the other day but soon spotted the hide when approaching from that angle today.

# 1585 Loosely in the neighborhood today so looking for a park n grab to keep the streak alive. This one fit the bill! Easily found in the first place looked, all good inside here. Surprising the amount of traffic down this road on a work day. Cheers boxhill.
I scored some cheap flights to Wellington for the weekend! I had a great time exploring and finding caches!! TFTC!
I had time to find one more cache in this area before heading home. I was surprised to find the GPS rapidly counting down to 0 in a rather random place. So I came to a stop and was about 30m past the cache. A few cars were starting to go by now - all heading to the speedway. I ducked in to locate the cache in the second spot I checked in between the cars. After the CO got a recent rush of maintenance requests for various other caches (at least a couple from me) he might be glad to hear that this one is in fine condition. TFTC. Although I'm still a bit baffled by the location.
geosense needed here, gps said spot on but had to find another to match the hint, tftc
It's Labour Day Monday and we're on our way home from the WENZ Mega. I had made a very long list of caches that would help us fill in our grid (fizzy, I think), and this is one of them. It is the only one on the list we've searched for, as we've been so busy trying new things and enjoying the weekend. Thank you for the placement!
We have hopped across the ditch from Melbourne to attend the WENZ Mega. This cache was found on our long weekend enjoying NZ’s beautiful spring weather without snakes!
Thanks for placing I'll Keep You Posted - Te Marua (Wellington) so we could find it. Many thanks boxhill for the caching fun.

Found this once while out and about in the MEGA 2018 area with G2, FMZ, Renelm and Indianna Jill TFTC.
WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... After experiencing broken sleep at our accommodation, it was time to pull it together and get out there... With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and NZFlossy...
Saturday: Some more finds to carry us over to the next event. We still had time on our side, but the next few finds needed to be quick ones... TFTC.

Day 1 of Wellington Mega
Today's mission was to register, collect lab caches, other events and hopefully 11 different cache types in 1 day.
Tall order but we made it with a few minutes to spare.
We also collected other caches that we had solved prior to coming.
Turned into a bit of a day so sorry for the copy and paste of logs.
Thanks to the cache owners for the placement of these caches.
Looking at the greater picture of the Wellington area we have only scratched the surface so will be back at some stage. SLTFTC

On our way to the drive-by event, had to stop and get this one. Down for the mega event, good weather you’ve put on for us.
